Abby and Vikki finds it weird how things turned out so conveniently; Paul thinks so to. He’s wasting taxpayers money, Victor assures that he and Jack will run the company together – not more secrets or lies. OK – then what exactly happened in the park that night????

Paul now drops by the penthouse looking for Mr Bingham. Chelsea doesn’t know where he is. A warrant!? Anita’s surprised, Chelsea not so much. He’s left town – if you’re covering for him you could be in trouble. If Chelsea sees him, Paul will be the first to know – but don’t count on it. After Paul leaves, Chelsea hurries out too.

Billy’s known people like Gabe – you lied about the gun, then hid it at Chelsea’s place. You’ve done more and Billy will uncover it all. It’ll be just as much hell for you as for me, Adam warns.

Hell for me? Billy wants answers – and stops Adam from leaving, Did you hurt somebody? Adam tells him to drop it – go be with your children. Tell them and Vikki that you love them. Don’t worry about making me suffer – I’m suffering plenty!

So the shoot out was over who got the corner office, Vikki quips. Victor’s just glad Jack survived and the guilty man will pay (Gabe lied) But he didn’t act alone; Victor and Jack brought Gabe into the company. Why didn’t Jack back up Gabe’s story? Victor insists that Jack’s a different person. Maybe he is too.

Hearing a noise, Jack leaves Phyllis sleeping in bed to tip toe downstairs. A knock on the door brings Chelsea barging in – knowing he’s been lying about Adam’s true identity. Once the cops fingerprint him he’s busted. It’s too late for Jack to bribe the Judge, Adam’s gone. You and I have risked a lot to keep his secret – he belongs in prison for killing Delia, Jack points out – as Adam eavesdrops.

Adam wasn’t drunk or on drugs – there was no malicious intent. But yes, Chelsea agrees he should have come forward. But he thought no one would believe him. Chelsea knows Adam still wants his father’s approval. She fooled herself into thinking her and Conner were enough. Jack knows why she’s there – to make sure he’s gone. She thinks it best that everyone think Adam dead; including his son. Maybe it’s for the best.
