Neil’s at NE to update Nikki and Victor (on the evidence that got Devon arrested) Innocent people go to jail all the time, Neil worries. With some encouraging words for her friend, Nikki leaves Neil to ask Victor why he hasn’t made this all go away. Victor announces that his PI has looked into things – now where in Canada exactly was Neil??

Back at Underground, Noah tells Marisa to look into her heart to see if it’s true love. No, they aren’t moving too fast, he wants Marisa to move in with him – to a new place. Surely she’s tired of living in a hotel. Not really. Noah detects her lack of enthusiasm – tell me if I’m off the mark.

On the rooftop, Lily tells Cane that Devon may have slept with a hooker – he doesn’t remember. Perhaps Hilary found out. Well a witness DID see Hilary arguing with a man who fits Devon’s description. Lily’s had nagging doubts. How could you not tell me? Cane goes back to being pissed off.

In an interrogation room. Mike’s sorry he hasn’t been able to slow things down. Devon’s glad he’s not in a jail cell on the Islands. Nikki arrives at the station to ask Paul to help Devon. Neil’s a dear friend – she doesn’t want him to suffer (and hopes Paul isn’t making Devon pay for his Father’s role in Chris’ accident) Paul’s incredibly insulted – he doesn’t use his position to further his own agenda – that would be your husband (Nikki’s gobsmacked)

Neil shows Victor photos on his trip to Banff – the Canadian Rockies are beautiful. Yes, he went to Scarlet Lake (but didn’t take pictures) Neil’s easily tripped up on his lies. Victor knows that he cashed a check for $9,900 – $100 below the limit that would alert the authorities. Neil also hired a pilot to take him to the islands – a limo driver – checked into the hotel next to Hilary and Devon’s under an assumed name, OK, yeah – Neil was there. Victor states his obvious motive – and you went to great lengths to lie to me about being in Canada. Hearing that Victor hasn’t gone to the police, Neil knows he must want something.

How much will Victor’s silence cost Neil? Is he expected to spy at Jabot? No – he’s ordered to stay away from Nikki. There’s nothing going on between us, Neil insists. Victor knows that – but he’s a bad influence (the accident that cost Chris her baby) Nikki’s concerned that Neil might revert to drinking. And no, she has NO judgment when she’s under the influence. Stay away from Nikki or Victor will show Neil’s family and the cops his itinerary. You win, Neil wonders if Victor’s going to ask if he did something to Hilary. Kindly close the door on your way out, Victor dismisses him.

Mariah’s trying to help Sharon. You can – by keeping quiet. Be honest or it’ll blow up in your face, Mariah doesn’t like being put in this position. Sharon doesn’t want to hurt Dylan – we both deserve to be happy. Noah and Dylan have been talking about how moody you’ve been, Mariah reports that she played dumb – but if Dylan didn’t suspect anything before, he will now.

Upstairs, Dylan finds that Sharon’s pill dispenser is empty. He shakes his head at the realization that she’s not taking her meds.

Paul’s very busy, and won’t apologize for what he said about Victor. Nikki greets Judge Gate warmly. He’s there to block the extradition of Devon Hamilton to BVI. He’ll hear his case for bail in 20 minutes. Nikki thanks Ted and leaves. Well done, Paul congratulates Mike (and goes to fetch Devon) Mike’s left suspicious of what motivated Judge Gates – if something seems to good to be true, it generally is.

Sharon asks Mariah to trust her – do this my way. If she can’t get pregnant the truth will have to come out. When Dylan comes back down, Mariah leaves Sharon to maul him some more. But Dylan needs to talk to Sharon – without trust we have nothing. That said, he confesses he checked to see if she’s taking her meds.
