Abby’s triumph is NOT a computer glitch. Kevin explains that someone tried (but failed) to hack into NE’s system. But there could still be a ‘worm’. No, Abby’s a genius (who leaves to go celebrate elsewhere) What a drama queen, Mariah tells Marisa not to worry about it. Whatever Victor’s offering isn’t worth the price you’ll pay in the end, Noah’s left to warn Kevin.

Neil apologizes to Gwen – he hopes he hasn’t blown it. This is the first good thing in his life in a long time ~kiss~ Emma comes out of her room (yeah, she can tell he’s there to look for her badge) Neil suddenly pulls it out from under the sofa cushions. That’s impossible! Emma sputters.

Prodded to thank Neil, Emma hurries back to work. Gwen apologizes for her sister. Neil suggests they check the couch out again – who knows what we’ll find ~kiss~ Once again, Gwen leads him to her room.

Kevin doesn’t trust Victor – it’s the money and thrill of the challenge. Noah relays that his Dad recently warned him to stay away from Victor, but now HE’S been sucked in. My Grandfather tried to bribe Marisa to stay away from me. But yes, she made her choice (and so did Noah) At the other end of the bar, Marisa and Mariah chat – she wants to be the woman Noah trusts. You almost make it sound like he shouldn’t, Mariah wonders if Marisa’s hiding something from him.

Ben joins Ashley at the club (where he’s meeting Abby to celebrate her latest success) Ashley wishes Abby wasn’t at NE – her Dad’s still playing games with my family. when Abby appears, she assumes Ashley also thinks the spike in sales is due to a glitch. I knew I could count on you. Relax – she’s not the enemy, Ben defends Ashley.

Over dinner and wine, Phyllis marvels at Fred’s cooking skills. He should re-enter the world and meet someone special. Fred might be ready – kismet will happen when he’s ready for it. Excusing herself, Phyllis takes a call from Jack – who’s on his way. We’ll save you some trout, Phyllis met the most amazing chef and fisherman (looking out onto the patio, it appears Ian’s gone)

Mariah warns that secrets come out in GC. Marisa thinks that Noah knows how she feels about him – what about you and Kevin? Mariah insists they’re roommates – we’re both romantic failures. Mariah’s broken romantically – damaged (and lists why) Marisa tells her to start over – tonight (I’ll explain it nice and slow)

Meanwhile, Kevin’s also telling Noah that he and Mariah are just friends – or an old married couple. It’s a rut but he can hack it and make sparks fly.

Naked and cuddling in bed, Neil wants to stay the night this time. Gwen asks about seeing Neil come out of the med closet, Lily’s worried about his addiction – then Emma’s badge went missing. Something you want to ask me? Neil frowns. Gwen wants to help Neil. You think I stole Emma’s ID badge to score drugs???

At the cabin, Jack’s greeted with a kiss. Phyllis won’t complain about his business decisions – you’re home, that’s all that matters. Jack smells un-burnt cooking. That was Fred, but he took off without saying good bye.

Ian’s on a laptop in his trailer – chuckling as he tells the Paragon Project worm to unleash it’s fury on Victor Newman.

Buttoning his shirt, Neil’s anxious to leave – do I look like I’m strung out on drugs?! His son and his ex are suffering – his life has been hell. But then Gwen came along to make him happy, until now. Gwen’s sorry – she should have known better. No, Neil should have known better. Let’s end it before someone gets hurt. Yes, it DOES have to be this way, Neil marches out.

Alone at Underground, which Noah has closed early, he and Marisa kiss.

Mariah’s brought Kevin to Marisa’s suite at the club – to check on something for her (since she’s staying at Noah’s) Maybe we could spend the night here. Why? Oh – Kevin gets it – better wifi. Mariah’s disappointed as he pulls out his laptop.
