In the office, Abby fusses over her Mom, who claims she just needs a good night’s sleep. I’m fine. Prove it – come to GCM so Ben can run some tests.

When Summer arrives, Max seems quite impressed with his babysitter. Ben’s told to take as long as he needs.

Billy won’t let a business deal come between him and Vikki. Phyllis says it there’s any karma, Victor’s project will be a bust. Jack knows that Billy’s the real victor here – the luckiest man in town. The three of us will come up with something better than Victor’s little Internet project. After Jack leaves for a meeting, Phyllis reminds Billy that he’s risking everything he loves. So are you (lemme know if you want out)

Victor grumbles that he’s extended the deadline several times. He’s glad when Vikki shows up (unlike Adam, who he also summoned) Natalie plugs a drive into the supercomputer to demonstrate what they’re paying her the big bucks for.

Natalie makes a little speech about Internet privacy; a person’s work and home are what it should be – private – accessed by only one passkey. There’s no password, the program knows you and only opens for you. Entry denied. Entry denied. Entry denied. Natalie thinks she knows what the problem is. Victor doesn’t give a damn – you’ve got one week. Is that clear!? Natalie scurries out – leaving Victor to say Natalie has no idea who’s working with. Or, Vikki suggests – she’s working with someone else.

Phyllis is all in – and will take Victor on by herself if Billy wants out. He relays Vikki almost catching him in Natalie’s suite. Phyllis says they must play this smart so Jack and Vikki won’t know. Both getting a text from Natalie (to meet in her suite) Billy will take the stairs, Phyllis the elevator.

Ashley’s too busy to go to GCM. Dr Neville’s given Ashley a quick check up – it’s the flu. Yes, he’s positive. When Ben calls, Abby’s about to ask him for a second opinion when Ben blurts out that there’s an emergency – meet me at the club. Take care of her, Abby orders Neville as she hurries out.

Grumbling ‘this better be good – we can’t get caught together’ Phyllis and Billy are told that Vikki’s still at the office with Rumplestiltskin. It couldn’t have gone any better – Victor was furious and gave me one week to fix it. Vikki was disappointed but not surprised. Phyllis worries they’re suspicious. How close are we? Let me show you. Natalie types away – welcome to passkey.

Vikki dropped by Natalie’s suite the other day – this need for privacy might mean she’s working with another partner. Victor agrees – Jack? Phyllis? She hates my guts. Vikki can’t see her going behind Jack’s back. Vikki disagrees that it’s Billy – the kids and I mean more to him – he wouldn’t risk this second chance – trust me. OK, so be it, Victor lets it go.

Back in the lab, Neville tells Ashley to drop the act, Abby’s gone – you should be resting. The effects of the protocol might get worse before you get better. Ashley’s tired of lying to her family – sick of being sick. Your miracle cure is crap and so are you. Sorry! she instantly apologizes. Both hope she’s wrong. Ashley just wants to live ~hug~

Abby knocks on Ben’s door – then walks in to candles, music and a passionate kiss.

As Ben and Abby make love, Summer and Max are getting along just fine at CL’s (after sledding) He doesn’t agree that Abby’s cool. Summer gets it – her parents both made new families – it was hard – then she realized more people, more love. Abby’s a good one – I promise. I forgot my gloves at the park, Max is about to run out. No, Summer will go fetch them – don’t move.

Devon opines about Neil – he could have had something with Gwen (but messed that up) or you (if he hadn’t tried to push you back to me) Devon thinks firing Neil might be best for him. Being around us might drive him to drink again.
