After Sage leaves, Chelsea admits to being troubled by seeing him hug Sage (knowing he was Christian’s Father) And she’s not happy that he ditched a meeting in Chicago to go see Victor. What’s going on? Victor wants me to avenge his death (assuming he’s killed in prison) Adam explains.

You don’t look so hot, Ian stops by Victor’s cell to chat. I don’t run from a threat, Victor growls.

Chelsea mocks Victor being melodramatic. And why call you? This is a plan to put you in power until he gets out. Chelsea’s frustrated that Adam can’t see it. If you want to run NE, go do it – I have a son to raise. OK, Adam walks out.

In pain and barely able to move, Victor claims he’s not scared. If you kill me someone will come after you, he warns. Ian denies having anything to do with the attack – you have my word (which means little to Victor)

Now home, Sharon tells Dylan that Sage was at Chelsea’s – Shawn took the baby. It’s heartbreaking – I let her hold Sully and told her she can come over and see him anytime. Sharon has no problem having Sage in Sully’s life. Her only doubts came from Dr Anderson.

Vikki’s so sorry that Nick and Sage have to go through this. Sage is taking it well, throwing herself into work. Nick needs to stay busy too – but also, he’s ticked off that Dad recruited Adam. Nobody can beat us together. Welcome back to Newman, Vikki grins and shakes his hand.

Sage has always been good with Sully, Sharon’s glad he comforts her. She wonders how Nick’s holding up. Who will he lean on? I’m doing it again, she realizes – it’s not my place. No need for apologies, Dylan knows that Nick’s family too. He’s never felt so blessed (both look down at Sully)

On the patio, Sage flashes back to Nick’s pep talk – we’ll get through this. When Nick appears, she gives him a hug. She’s been thinking about him all day. He’s been thinking about her too – you’re so strong (going to work) Sage doesn’t feel strong – I blew it.

Anita finds Chelsea packing luggage and talking to herself. She updates on Adam running to Victor’s side at Memorial. I told him I don’t care what he does anymore. Why would you do that? Anita disapproves.

Adam drops by the office to talk to his ‘sister’. Like it or not, we owe everything to that man on the wall over there.

Sage tells Nick she couldn’t take her eyes off Sully. Yes, she got overwhelmed. Chelsea freaked out a bit but Sharon was great; said I can see Sully whenever I like. She’s amazing. Being with Sully is good – he’s all the therapy I need. Nick looks worried as they hug.

Ian insists he’s telling the truth – he just pretends to have power. Why are you telling me all this? Victor wonders. If it wasn’t you, who attacked me? We’ll know his identity soon, Ian’s sure.
