Kevin tells Summer and Luca that Vikki refused Jack’s offer to split Passkey’s revenue because she’s making it personal (Billy) Luca thinks it wise to avoid a battle if possible. Kevin pitches the idea that Summer talk Vikki out of the suit – to avoid more regret (they all wish they stood by Victor as Summer did)

Billy relays his story – he wanted in on Kevin’s idea (for his family and Jabot) – and to redeem himself. Then came the accident, and while Billy was in a coma, Victor convinced Kevin to work for him. Vikki chimes in to rant about Billy saying all that mattered was coming back to her and the kids. That was a lie!

At NE, Summer tells her Mom that she must try to change Vikki’s mind – she doesn’t want her family torn apart. Vikki’s making this personal, Luca adds. Phyllis grits her teeth as he also praises Summer.

This is not what we’re here for, Mike quietly calms Vikki down so that Leslie can ask Billy about conveniently hiring the programmer Newman had just fired. Billy believed in Natalie. He knows anything worth having is worth risk. So you put a programmer above your own family, Vikki adds. You fired me from your life, Billy responds. Vikki’s heard enough – get him outta here.

Jack demands Nikki step up – own her mistake – then he’ll help her. Nikki doesn’t want to deal with her family’s anger and pity. How can she burden her family? Once Jack helps her get sober, she’ll tell them. Nikki now wonders if she was wrong to call Jack instead of go to a bar. OK – but Jack has one condition.

Claiming he was just on his way to report a security glitch, Ian’s lead back to his cell. The Warden has some info for Victor, regarding the attempt on his life.

Natalie credits Kevin (who reluctantly credits Luca with convincing Summer) She then informs that sales of Passkey total 100K for Kevin and Mariah (and 500K for her) But our assets are frozen, Kevin reminds – though they continue to dream of spending.

Phyllis tells Summer that there’s only one way to win this – I need to know you’re on my side. Summer can’t lie. As Billy comes out, Summer (Luca on her heels) barges in to speak to Vikki. In the hallway, Phyllis gives Billy a comforting hug.

Now in a suite at the club (to sleep off her hangover) Nikki appreciates Jack taking her to a meeting. You can go. Oh – clear the mini bar out. Jack knows that hiding liquor isn’t the answer but he’s taking the booze anyway. Get some rest, he leaves with Nikki’s thanks.

Summer won’t lie, Phyllis tells Billy – and Kevin, Mariah or Natalie can crack. No, they won’t – and Summer won’t hurt her Mother, Billy’s sure – stick to the plan. Phyllis doesn’t feel good about forcing her daughter to commit perjury.

Mike and Luca stand by as Summer tries to convince Vikki to drop the lawsuit. Luca steps in to agree it’s the right thing to do. I’m so sorry, Phyllis says as Luca and Summer come out (and exit without responding) Are you ready? Vikki comes out to ask. You have no idea, Phyllis marches past her.

The warden informs Victor that it was a guard who attacked him (he’s been charged) Who bribed him? Victor wonders – Ian Ward?

If Summer doesn’t lie, she’ll ruin things for Kevin, Mariah and Natalie and break her Mom’s heart. Tell the truth, Luca knows there’s no other way for Summer.

In her deposition, Phyllis is asked if Passkey was an extension of her revenge. It was about profit – Victor blackmailed Jack to hand over 500 million because I wasn’t ready to go public that I’d been sleeping with a stranger. Victor fired Natalie – Jabot hired her. Vikki must defend her Daddy – you’re his special little princess. Are we done here!? Leslie reserves the right to recall Phyllis. Vikki then dismisses Mike to ask one question off the record – about you and Billy.
