Ian hands Victor the front page of the National Inquisitor; Adam Newman adds murder to his list of achievements. Catchy huh? Ian sees the glint in satisfaction in Victor’s eye. You’re revelling in this. You must be dying to crow – tell me how you did it.

Ian’s not fishing for info – he’s curious, and admiring. Our minds work in similar ways. Adam is a murderer, Victor walks off leaving Ian to clear his table.

Adam ends a call and tells Chelsea that Dr Gates has agreed to meet him at the club. Ian might not be able to get a confession but the good doctor’s taken a leave of absence. Adam must find out what she knows.

Dylan and Sharon’s kissing is interrupted by a knock at the door. As Sharon goes to pack Sully up, Dylan lets Paul in. Yes, his investigation is serious, that’s why he’d rather run it from Dylan’s home that the station. Sharon wants no part of it (but is easily convinced) Going to meet Adam and Dr Gates, Dylan’s told not to blab that Paul’s investigating this angle. Sharon’s then left gripe at Paul – she wishes Nick hadn’t opened that damn diary.

Summer insists Luca moving in was her idea – I love him. Don’t say that again! Nick snaps. And love her, Luca adds (then is promptly ordered out – NOW)

This is moving way too fast, Nick reminds Summer that she was in love with Kyle until recently. And you thought you loved Austin. Summer talks about how supportive Luca is. He sees me for who I am; who I can be in the future. He loves me. Nick thinks Luca only in it for himself – look what he did to Marisa, and Noah. He’s duplicitous. Your Father’s right, Luca comes in to verify.

Paul doesn’t blame Sharon for wanting no part in Victor’s battle with his kids – and that it’s hard to be a cop’s wife. But being a cop has given Dylan purpose in life. Go cherish every moment with your son, Paul says as Sully cries. Oh, Sharon will.

At the club, Chelsea joins Chris (leaving Dylan and Adam at the bar) She hopes Chris will seek justice for her innocent husband. All the proof is in the prosecution’s court, Chris replies. Across the room, Adam praises the noble Meredith (and is introduced to Dylan) Knowing she’s close to Victor, he finds it hard to believe he’s never mentioned being framed for murder.

It’s been a while, Victor notes when Vikki visits to ask about the oil spill. She’s not here for advice – look me in the eye; are you responsible for this disaster?

Victor’s tired of being blamed every time something goes wrong. How could he possibly rig an oil spill from here? You rigged a board vote, Vikki reminds. Guard! Victor barks – then tells Vikki to blame herself when things go wrong for her kids. You reap what you sow!!

Dr Gates doesn’t like Adam’s tone. Victor set me up, Adam insists – I’m fighting for my life. Do you understand? Dr Gates understands that Adam doesn’t know his Father well (if you think he’s capable of framing you for murder) No, YOU don’t know Victor well if you think this is beyond him. Refusing to say why she took a leave of absence, Meredith feels sorry for Victor for having such a crappy son. Well, anything deficient in my character came from my Father, Adam sends Meredith marching off.

Chelsea is surprised to hear that Chris plans to call Victor to the stand.
