Lily and Hilary continue to argue. You will NOT tell me how to do my job. I will and you’ll accept it or face the consequences. Cane referees – let’s settle our differences and work together for the good of the club. Paul and Dylan come down – to talk to Hilary.

Sipping drinks on the rooftop deck, Jack gushes about his less enthusiastic wife. Oh how in love we are. Bethany thinks that SO romantic – Phyllis is lucky and should hang onto all that ‘yummy goodness’. Poor Billy – all this talk about love and marriage – Bethany’s fine with being his ‘rebound chic’. He’s trying to get over the love of his life – Vikki. When Billy calls an end to the evening and hustles Bethany out, Jack comments that there’s something off about her.

Watching from the bar, Lily wonders if Hilary killed Allan James (and hopes she goes to jail) Maybe Hilary knew him, Cane suggests – and points out that if Hilary goes down, she’ll take them all down with her.

Across the room, Hilary tells Paul and Dylan that Allan James was part of a lab team that worked on their drug – she only knew him by name. No, she didn’t pay him to falsify reports to get FDA approval. How does she explain the large deposits to his account? The bonuses can be generous – I didn’t do anything wrong. Neville tells Hilary how much to pay the employees. He’s the one you need to talk to about pay-offs. Ashley appears to look at Hilary with distaste and disappointment.

Well, this looks serious, Ashley says. It is. And hearing that Neville’s at the lab, Dylan and Paul march out. Lily’s disappointed – I guess Hilary’s not in trouble after all. Meanwhile, Hilary confesses that she did what she had to in order to get the drug approved (paying off the lab tech) Ashley’s livid that the’ungrateful bitch’ told the police that Neville authorized those payments. He’s not playing you, he’s trying to save your life (which he can’t do if you send him to prison) Leaving Hilary to mull that one over, Ashley calls Neville – you need to leave the lab right now!

Now at Billy’s, Bethany prattles on about his older brother being so handsome. Phyllis has you on one side, Jack on the other…What do you think you’re doing? Billy scowls.

Phyllis and Jack discuss Bethany – and Billy. She was acting hard to be nonchalant but Jack thinks she’s playing hard to get. Phyllis doesn’t think Bethany smart enough to use reverse psychology. Jack stands by his opinion – Billy loves a challenge; what’s more exciting than what you don’t have? Sending Jack off to meet Hilary, Phyllis hopes she keeps her claws to herself.

Bethany tells Billy to lighten up and stop worrying. Maybe she overdid it a bit but Jack didn’t suspect a thing and Phyllis is a pro; not a twitch. But for a poker player, Billy was pretty obvious. If anything gives it away it’ll be YOU.

Drink in hand, Phyllis watches another loud, young couple having fun – and flashes back to Billy – then Jack – then Billy – then Jack. Leaving her drink untouched, a mopey Phyllis exits.

Back at Sharon’s, Dylan and Paul wonder why they couldn’t find Neville where Ashley told them he was. His disappearance supports Hilary’s story. Perhaps he panicked – like the time he drugged Dylan when he came looking for Hilary. Paul calls to put out an APB on Dr Simon Neville.

On the patio, Neville’s stunned to hear that Allan James is dead – that’s the end – Hilary’s too powerful. Ashley wants to go to the police to tell them that Hilary paid Allan off. Let’s go. Neville can’t turn Hilary in. Why not? Ashley demands.

Running into Hilary at the revolving door, Jack gushes about the way she handled Jill at the dedication. Hilary appreciates his gratitude. Watching, Lily snarls that she’s drooling over Jack – and marches over (Cane on her heels) to ask Jack how he can’t see what ‘she’ is.

Billy thinks this plan ridiculous. Bethany thinks it genius the way Phyllis covered their tracks (with her) She wants you so badly. Phyllis marches in – what do you think you were doing back there? Again? Bethany tells Phyllis to relax. Phyllis hands her a roll of cash – to shut up and go away (which Bethany does saying ‘have fun’) We’ve got a problem, Phyllis says. Billy agrees – and you’re making it worse.

Billy thinks Phyllis made a mistake into bringing Bethany into this. If she wants more money she’ll go to Jack. No, she wants the cash Phyllis knows – not the trouble. Billy wonders why Phyllis is REALLY here. He saw her face when Bethany kissed him. We can’t stay away from each other.
