Victor’s busy at the moment but will gladly meet Nikki for dinner at Top of The Tower. Miss me? Chloe appears as soon as Nikki exits. Victor warns that the walls are closing in. You can kiss your sweet baby goodbye. Yes, there WAS a way to stop this – until you burned those pages.

Back at the office, Jack wants the truth – does Phyllis feel held back? Pushed in a direction she doesn’t want to go? Billy gave him new perspective – that Jack might be keeping Phyllis from being herself. Phyllis insists she’s happy – and so are Billy and Vikki.

Dylan’s positive Chloe helped Victor – he saw them arguing in the park. Something’s way off. Chloe seemed anxious – Dylan wants to get her to crack. Sharon worries he’s right – but if Victor’s willing to send his own son to prison, what will he do to stop Victor?

Chloe didn’t burn the original journal pages – she kept them as insurance. Victor wants them. Chloe balks at this being pinned on someone else – but is OK with it if it keeps her with her daughter. What she’s not OK with is Adam walking. Victor wonders if she’d rather watch Adam suffer in prison or watch her daughter grow up.

Taking a seat on the park bench beside Billy, Phyllis scolds him for giving Jack marital advice. She brings up Vikki – be happy. What about you? Billy asks. Gotta go, Phyllis takes off.

It’ll get easier – we have each other, Chelsea tells Connor that they won’t give up on Daddy. Relighting the birthday cake candle, they blow it out to make another wish.

You son of a bitch, Adam’s in Victor’s office (furniture covered in sheets) I hope you died alone, he snarls at the portrait – then wakes up in his bunk.

Being with Bella is more important – but Chloe wants to know who’ll take the fall. OK, we’re doing this, Chloe digs out an envelope from behind the portrait. I haven’t given you enough credit, Victor’s impressed. You could have had me take the fall. Chloe hesitates – once she passes the pages to Victor, Adam goes free.

Next: I just wish he’d have tried to convince he to stay to work with him, Vikki says. Would you have stayed? Nikki wonders …. Did you find something to prove that Luca’s behind it? Phyllis asks. I found something, Nick replies – wasn’t what I was looking for … You know I love you, Luca says. You’re keeping something from me, Summer accuses.
