Taking a table at the club, Ashley suggests Billy invite Vikki. He gripes about Jill forcing them to work together. How? By holding something over your head? Yes, that’s exactly what she’s doing. Phyllis looks nervous.
Travis can’t be bought. He walked away from the life Victor leads (a comparison he scoffs at – of course he had Travis investigated) He then asks Vikki to take this impertinent fellow out (which she quickly does)
There’s no indication that Adam was with Chelsea. Finding medication packaging they learn that Connor’s sick. Paul then gets a call – there’s been an explosion at a nearby cabin – a witness saw a woman, man and a child.
Chloe listens from the stairs as Kevin talks aloud as he works on his laptop – looking for Adam (Chelsea and Connor)
Nick and Chelsea arrive at the airport – but there’s no Adam. The pilot comes over to say they take off soon. No, he hasn’t seen Adam. He has to be here, Chelsea gets out to look around the runway.
Jack and Ashley ask Billy what Jill’s holding over his head (while Phyllis squirms – am I the only one who’s hungry?) Billy says that you can’t make two people fall in love – especially when one of them loves someone else. Who is she? Ashley asks. Billy informs that Vikki’s the one who’s in love with someone else. All heads turn to see Vikki and Travis arrive.
Chloe comes down to check on Bella. Kevin updates that Chelsea’s been tracked to a motel on the edge of town. No sign of Adam – maybe he’s in the trunk. Getting a tecxt he adds that the cops are now investigating an explosion. Chloe’s confused – why are Dylan and Paul checking out a cabin? Seems like a longshot.
On the scene, the witness tells Paul and Dylan about her encounter with the man and woman. Wondering if the explosion was a diversion, they ask the woman where the nearest airstrip is.
Nick won’t let Chelsea go back to the cabin – and we don’t have time to call him. You have to get on the plane without him.
As Nick grabs Chelsea’s bags from the car, Connor’s stuffed animal falls on the ground. Go – Nick will go find Adam. We can argue until the police arrive or you can get your son to safety. Chelsea wonders what went wrong – no one knew where Adam was – except for ….
When Victor concludes that Vikki’s fallen for another punk, Nikki guesses he’s worried about Adam and his family. He can’t call them – it will put the plan at risk. We must have faith, Nikki gives Victor a hug.
Seated at a nearby table, Vikki tells Travis to ignore Billy. I’m happy, that’s all that matters. At the Abbott table. Billy insists he’s not jealous – and Phyllis should be happy – that Travis is in town. Billy’s thrilled that Vikki’s moving on with her life – now he can focus on moving on too.
Chelsea concludes that Victor’s responsible – he told Adam everything he wanted to hear – that he loved him. It’s time to go, Nick won’t let her confront Victor. You’ll be arrested. Maybe Chelsea can’t go to the ranch – but you can, she tells Nick.
