Billy likens him and Vikki to Romeo and Juliet and still blames Victor for their break up. Vikki insists that she and Travis are the real deal. As for Phyllis, she had the real thing too (with Jack)

Ashley doesn’t plan to fight Billy’s battles – she’s stuck working with both her brother’s exes. Eventually, the wrong two people will get trapped in this elevator. Vikki and Billy? Travis doesn’t believe in fate – he believes in hard work, and him and Vikki. As the elevator finally lets them off on their floor, Vikki looks unsettled by Travis and Ashley’s camaraderie.

Phyllis is committed to this company and Jack’s not using her full abilities if he doesn’t trust her. Jack was FORCED to keep Phyllis at Jabot and makes it clear that working over files into the wee hours wouldn’t make him forget the past or erase what she did. Our love was part of the past, you can’t erase that, Phyllis has the last word.

Travis and Ashley explain being stuck in the elevator. How long for? Vikki asks – then is surprised to hear they got ‘reacquainted’. After Ashley leaves, Travis says he likes her but probably isn’t supposed to (since she’s an Abbott)

Billy stops by Phyllis’ office to check out her ‘new gig’ and comment that she’s not dressed to crunch numbers. Phyllis doesn’t want to say hurtful things to Billy but has work to do. He insists that what they had was real. But maybe she IS pretending (if she thinks she can win Jack back)

In bed with Sharon and Sully, Dylan’s sorry he wasn’t there when he was born. Sully knows his Dad loves him, Sharon assures.

In her room (or cell) Patty flashes back to confronting Dr Anderson at Fairview. You took Sage and Nick’s baby – I have to tell them the truth! After a shoving match, Dr A gets on the phone – and Patty stabs her with a letter opener she grabs from the desk.

No more talk of bad dreams, Dylan wants to focus on his wonderful little family – nobody’s gonna take anything from us. Cuddled in, Sharon doesn’t look so sure.

Now home, the kids in bed, Travis offers ‘Tori’ a drink. Vikki asks whether Ashley talked about Billy. No? Then what; old times? Travis tells her to ask what she really wants to know – how do I know Ashley?

At the club’s bar, Jack tries to convince Ashley that he won’t fall for Phyllis obvious ploy’ – give me some credit.

Billy doesn’t understand why Phyllis is fighting a fight she can’t win – and being a sore loser, he can’t wish her good luck. Phyllis won’t need it – please, let me get back to work. Billy watches her clip clop off with her armload of folders.

Dylan rolls over to put a sleepy arm in the spot Sharon’s just vacated. She’s downstairs to plug the phone back in and be very alarmed when it’s her cell that starts ringing.

Leave us alone, Sharon hisses – no more gifts, calls or threats! We’re family, Patty reminds – you know what it’s like to be locked up. I thought you’d help me. I did something naughty but Dr Sandy isn’t going to tell on you (but hints that SHE might) You didn’t have a bun in the oven. That baby isn’t yours! Dylan appears to grab the phone from Sharon – who the hell are you and what do you want with my wife?!

Dropping by Phyllis’ ‘glorified closet’, Mike thinks this an insult (and wants to take action) The work and workspace sucks and Phyllis is humiliated – but she won’t run; she’s working at Jabot and has a chance to get what she wants; Jack.
