At CL’s, Lily chats with Jill – Cane saved that interview after Billy stormed out – he’s doing all the heavy lifting. Jill thinks Lily a good wife and agrees that Cane’s invaluable. Of COURSE she values Cane. Tell HIM that, Lily suggests.

Billy and Cane butt heads at the office. But Billy agrees that Cane’s right – he’s the one who made them look good in the interview.

Billy apologizes for being a jerk and thanks Cane for saving the commercial. Cane credits Billy with having good ideas. Joking that they won’t hug it out, they will watch the commercial together.

Hilary continues to read scathing reviews on social media. George is right. We sugar-coated what’s going on at Brash n Sassy instead of telling the truth, even if it’s painful. Devon reassures Hilary – we’ll stick to running this place our way, the right way.

Upstairs, Faith shows Nick were the towels etc. are. I used to live here, Nick reminds – he’s glad he gets to spend time with her and Sully. Downstairs, Dylan’s glad Nick and extra security will be watching over Sharon – and Paul will be stopping in after he visits Patty.

Mariah’s arrives at the facility – I’m here to see Patty Williams. Meanwhile, Paul explains why he didn’t visit – the doctors thought it would be a distraction. I love you and was checking in with the doctors. Not even sure Patty can hear him, Paul praises Patty’s painting of a cat. I guess I should go. ‘Paulie’, Patty finally turns to him.

Next: Jack? Summer’s surprised to find her Mom behind his desk – what are you doing here? Where’s Jack? Jack then walks in with Ashley to ask what’s going on…. As security is running a metal detector over Mariah, Sharon’s leaving her a frantic message – you have to get out of there. If Paul sees you it’s over! … I just want you to go away, Patty screams at Paul. Just go away!

My Thoughts: It’s bad enough that the Ashby home is 70’s orange (yet completely lacks retro charm) but what’s the point of having a window over the sink if you can’t see through the frosted glass? How can Lily see the twins play in the yard. Oh, right – the only time the twins have any outdoor time is going from the front door to the car or the car to the club’s revolving door… Only now Dylan’s telling Paul that he found the plumber’s cell phone? It seemed to be top priority when he and Kevin were traipsing all over town trying to locate it … Why would the police department be expected to waste manpower patrolling the ranch property? Doesn’t Victor have a whole team? And how do people like Jack get past the guardhouse unannounced? …. Given Patty’s status as a dangerous convict who flew off the handle and murdered a doctor, why would visitors be allowed into her room unsupervised? Sure it’s ‘nicer’ but plexiglas is safer.. Patty’s chief of police brother hasn’t been able to visit Patty but Mariah, a virtual stranger is approved? And Sharon? Who else is on the list?
