Back at Underground, Sharon thanks Chelsea for calming Nick down – perhaps she can talk to him again. It’s temporary, Chelsea warns and refuses. ‘Mother to Mother’? she scoffs – what you did wasn’t maternal or in the best interests of that little boy.
Lily’s brought the twins to GC Buzz so Devon and Hilary can babysit while she takes Cane to GCM. As the kids run around in circles, Devon assures Hilary they won’t be any trouble.
Phyllis is now dressed and back in Jack’s office as Ashley asks about the envelope he’s trying to hide. Save it, she’s done with their top secret revenge plot. Ashley’s too busy doing real work.
Sharon loves Sully so much and Dylan’s now finally a Father after … Yes, Chelsea lied to Dylan too – but she was mistakenly protecting Connor. Nick wishes there was some other way. Dylan wants Sharon to be home for this. What could be more important? Nick wonders. He waited as requested. More time won’t make this easier. Chelsea arrives at Victor’s office as summoned. Looks like it’s true – Sharon’s been raising my grandson. Why hasn’t Nick taken his son and told the family. Victor then gets a text – Nick’s at Sharon’s right now. Yes, he’s having them watched and would involve the cops if he could (but can’t because a DNA test will reveal that Nick’s not the Father) Chelsea thinks the truth should come out. Aren’t we as bad as Sharon by keeping the secret?
Chelsea’s torn but agrees that Adam would want Nick to raise his son – that little boy is Connor’s half brother. Victor’s adament – they’ll be cousins. It was Adam’s wish that Nick raise Christian (certainly not Sharon and Dylan) Think of Nick – he’d be devastating to find out now that Christian’s not his.
Jack’s very impressed with Ashley’s idea – Ashley’s NOT impressed when Phyllis keeps injecting herself into the conversation. But as Phyllis decides to leave, Jack displeases Ashley by asking her to wait.
Called to the club for a crisis, Devon has to leave the twins with Hilary (who promptly hands the ‘two terrors’ over to Mariah) Aunt Hilary used to be our grandma, Maddy chirps as Mariah takes them off to play.
This could work, Sharon eagerly agrees – shared custody works for Faith. Nick’s aghast – you expect me to be Uncle Nick to my son? They disagree on what’s best for Christian. Nick says the window is now before Christian’s old enough to know what’s going on. He won’t erase Christian’s Mother. Watch what happens if either of you tries to stop me. Chelsea then walks in.
