As the Abbott’s are deciding it’s time to get to work, Billy can be heard trying to get in the front door – guess my key doesn’t work anymore. Am I too late for breakfast?

Traci’s so glad Billy made it – and is delighted with her early Christmas gift (a bottle of Bare) Ashley suggests they postpone work – coffee anyone? Jack guesses he was wrong in saying Billy had the good sense to stay away. You are no longer an Abbott – what part of that don’t you understand!?

Vikki drops by her Dad’s office to make her announcement. Don’t say I told you so – just be my Father – support me. Can you do that? Of course Victor can.

Sharon pulls out a framed photo; her, Nick and Cassie. Another one of Faith – then Sully. In tears, she takes the photo out of it’s frame and holds it to her mouth, then puts it in her pocket.

Hearing Christian squeal, Dylan leaves before knocking on Nikki’s front door. Inside, Nick thanks his Mom – I love you. Dylan witnesses the happy scene through a window and moves on.

Next: Look what I’ve got – Nikki announces as she walks into Victor’s off with a garment bag. Vikki looks sad …. Jack has harsh words for Phyllis – we’re not Mike and Lauren – funny you mention them – remember their wedding? You left with Nick that night. Funny how history has a way of repeating itself (meanwhile, Mike and Lauren are in a suite – Mike flips over a card to reveal ‘marry me’)

My Thoughts: If the Abbott house is just as much Traci’s as it is Jack’s – why isn’t it just as much Billy’s? …. So Jack actually removed the Abbott name from the Foundation? What would be the point of that other than to (falsely) imply that he left on bad terms, undermine the stability of the Foundation and necessitate redoing all logos, literature and print advertising? (at the cost of donors I’m sure) …. Nice to finally see Mrs Martinez. I was surprised the orange ghost of John didn’t make an appearance to give Jack some grief. Hopefully, Jerry Douglass is in good health (at 84) … Surprising that the Judge ruling on visitation wasn’t on air – it would have been quite dramatic; Victor gloating, the McAvoy’s devastation, Nikki wringing her hands and wondering whether to be happy for Nick or sad for Dylan… Sharon should remember that she took Faith away from Ashley after she’d rasied her for 6 months. Ashley wasn’t given a role in Faith’s life. Both are just fine. The moral of the story? Get over it.
