Paul regrets sending Dylan on this case but is proud of him. Dylan credits his ‘Dad’ – I’ve learned a lot from you. I’ll miss you too son, Paul wishes there was another way. He’ll think about Dylan every day – knowing he’s safe. Nikki arrives to hear that Dylan’s leaving and doesn’t take it well.

When Lauren comes to Jabot as summoned, Ashley makes it clear that she’s not part of this deal Jack’s now put in writing. Lauren’s not signing it – she got a better offer. From who? Me, Eric walks in.

As Eric hugs Ashley, Lauren teases Jack that his spy (Gloria) wasn’t too good. Eric raves about Fenmores; merging with Forrester is a perfect fit. Lauren’s choice is clear unless Jack wants to up his bid.

Back at the ranch, Victor tells Sharon that Faith’s at a birthday party – she’s thriving here and can stay as long as she wants.

Relieved that Dylan’s alive, Nikki scolds Paul for not telling her he was under cover. She knows the situation with Nick has caused a rift between them. Crying, Nikki’s so proud of Dylan – always sacrificing for other people. You’re such a good man. We haven’t had enough time, she weeps. Dylan will carry his Mom’s love with him wherever he goes ~hug~

Kevin delivers Dylan’s new ID – this is who you are now. You’ll be in a safe house being debriefed – Kevin will go with you, Paul says. Sharon breezes in and heads up to pack a bag. We? She thinks she’s going? Kevin whispers.

Nikki’s back at the main house, sniffling over Dylan having to start over alone. He’s so strong. Nikki tries to be strong for him – but he must be in agony. Oh, how will Nikki’s heart ever hear? Victor hugs her.

Eric has the contract right here – this is a momentous day for Lauren. I’m happy to let her retain control over her family company. Can you beat that? Lauren offers Jack 49% interest. Fine – but Jack wants his offer accepted now. Lauren leaves telling Jack to let her know when the paperwork’s drawn up. Eric doesn’t seem overly disappointed. At the door, Lauren has one more thing to say – never underestimate me again. After they leave, Jack tosses paperwork.
