Nikki knows what Faith did and why – that’s a pretty big fib. Your Dad was scared for both of us. Faith likes Chelsea. Yes, but Nikki knows that she wants her Mom and Dad together. We want to make sure the people we love are happy. I’m a terrible person, Faith sighs. Nikki gives her a hug – you made a mistake – but don’t do it again.

Now home, Chelsea removes her shoes and unzips her dress. Nick arrives to say it was a false alarm. Knowing there won’t be a date 4 if date 3 doesn’t end well, he’s brought wine. Smiling, Chelsea’s pretty sure there’ll be a date 4.

On his way out, Billy tells Chloe that Collin’s the one who caused Jill’s heart attack. He has some weird power over your Mother, Chloe knows. Billy’s sure Jill won’t take him back.

At the bar, Collin’s pleased when his appraiser slides over a check – I could kiss you. Pretty soon someone’s going to be kissing me, he smirks.

Ester asks Jill if she’s OK – we have a guest. So you found what the old girl left you, Murphy enters smiling – the key, the ring, the whole shebang. What? This is all I have? Jill replies with pages in hand.

Next: When I told you I was planning on having a bigger role in this company I meant it, Ashley tells a displeased Jack … How are you going to clear things up if your daughter has a problem with us being together? Chelsea asks Nick…. Lauren sits with Mike behind her. Tell me the truth, Victor. I can not promise you that your son will come back safely, Victor replies.

My Thoughts: Why on earth couldn’t Nick seek Faith out and tell her in personal that he loves her? And why isn’t that poor misguided kid in therapy? She’ll be twice the trainwreck her Mom is by the time she graduates high school … Does Faith even know her Mom’s responsible for the former ranch burning to the ground? That’s Sharon’s the reason many photos etc no longer exist. I imagine Nikki had a whole closet full of wedding gowns go up in smoke. I like how Nikki also managed to dodge the question of how many times she’s been married … Billy and Chloe were kinda cute together but they don’t stand a chance once Bella’s paternity is revealed. Chloe wouldn’t miss a second with Bella yet has selfishly deprived Billy of knowing his daughter .. How wonderfully bittersweet to see Jeanne Cooper’s portrayal of Katherine as a young woman battling her demons (and Jill) That last scene will always bring a tear to my eye. And I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Murphy either. How can Collin possibly think that selling a ring Kay left to Jill will win her back? I hope she rips his heart out.
