Watching over Dina as she signs paperwork, Graham’s surprised to look up and see Ashley in the suite. I guess my Mother didn’t tell you she called me, she correctly guesses.
Those were documents finalizing the sale of Mergeron. Graham answers Ashley’s question and leaves her to relay that Jack’s disappointed Dina didn’t move in with him. Would you want me there? Dina asks. Ashley doesn’t live there but wonders if Dina regrets not sharing Mother-daughter moments in her former home. Avoiding the question, Dian thinks Ashley a wonderful Mother to Abby; everything I wasn’t to you.
Nick asks Scott for insight on Victor arranging this benefit. Scott thinks he’s doing a nice thing for Nikki and those who suffer from MS – but hey, it’s your family (he doesn’t want to step on any toes) You’re not, Nick says. Watching Scott kiss Sharon and leave, he shakes his head and chuckles at Sharon.
At the park cafe, Nikki tells Jack that Gloria cares about him. Clearly in pain, she’s summoned Jack to fret about performing. Her doctor gave her steroids for the swelling and pain. It’s helping but Nikki needs something that works long-term. When she refuses to cancel the concert, Jack expresses how much he cares about Nikki (unlike Victor)
Ashley seems to appreciate Dina praising her parenting skills. Yes, she shares Jack’s concerns about Graham. Dina understands why they’d worry about a rich woman being with a much younger man but Graham’s handsomely compensated and looks out for her. What if he leaves you? He won’t – Dina and Graham have a deal.
A bare-chested Graham joins Gloria in the sauna – just in time for her to add more steam (and smile coyly to herself)
So, you and Scott – Nick thinks ‘that was fast’. Not really, Sharon smiles at the suggestion that Victor’s using him – he’s lucky to have Scott. What’s really going on? Sharon can see through Nick and Nikki – neither of you want anything to do with Victor. Why the act?
Jack encourages Nikki to bail out on Victor. He arranged this to show me that he has power over me – but Nikki can’t lose herself or her confidence. This concert is a way to find a part of myself. Again wincing, Nikki suddenly needs to leave. With a hug, she assures Jack that she’ll be fine – don’t worry – see you later. As Jack watches Nikki leave, Victor emerges – what the hell are you doing with my wife?
