Boxing gloves in hand, Graham watches Victor as he punches the long bag – agreeing that it’s a great way to work through one’s thoughts.

No, Dina won’t listen to Ashley. What did you find in Graham’s room – an overdue bill? Ashley then drops the bomb that Graham’s Mother is alive and living in an assisted-living facility in Florida.

Ashley tells Dina that she found an 8K bill that Graham paid – she spoke to the woman, it’s his Mother. No, she didn’t say that exactly, Ashley admits. Dina thinks she’s jumping to conclusions. Ashley sees a man with an agenda. Unimpressed, Dina turns her back until Ashley takes the hint and leaves.

Victor coaches Graham as he flails his fists at the bag – good job, keep it up. He then moves over to grumble about Nikki not returning his call. Where were you last night? Amused, Nikki won’t run her itinerary past Victor. Were you with JagAbbud last night? Victor asks (as Graham punches and listens)

Parked at the school, Charlie wishes Mattie had told him she was planning to break the rules (which he’s a pro at) And what did Dad do? Made things a million times worse, Mattie pouts.

Lily lets Cane in. He knows he missed the kids and is there to ask Lily if she’s made up her mind yet – the clock is ticking on our marriage. This separation’s affecting the kids, Lily agrees. You think it’s my fault, Cane knows – but we need to address this now.

Lily needs more time to see how she feels – why are you forcing this? It’s not just about us – it’s the kids, Cane points out the spot where Charlie hit his head. There’s the sofa we read to Mattie on, laughed on, made love on. We can’t fix our marriage if I’m not here, Cane persists. Lily needs more time. Neither want to fight.

Still in the car, Mattie tells Charlie everything that happened when Dad found out she’d been at Reed’s. We just kissed a little. That better be it – you’re 16, Charlie reminds. Sure, he is too but Charlie’s more ‘worldly’. Mattie gripes – this is all about Dad and who Reed’s Mom is.

Where were you? Victor repeats – for the third time. You are still my wife! he barks and wags his finger. He wants to deal with what happened with Nick and Faith right here, right now. Fine, but Nikki won’t discuss Jack with Victor. Graham continues to eavesdrop.

Hands on her hips at the office, Ashley updates Jack on her proof on Graham – and their Mother’s denial. Dina’s only concern was that she was being shipped off to this assisted-living facility. That gives Jack an idea. He dials the phone.
