Nikki and Jack again reassure themselves that they’re not together to get a reaction from Victor. With a hug, Jack leaves Nikki to get a text from Victor (a photo of her kissing Jack) OMG, she exits the club.
Watching Nikki leave, Phyllis assures Lauren that things are fine between her and Billy and is annoyed that Lauren doesn’t share her suspicions over BnS’s sudden spike in sales – all in $100 purchases. And how is Vikki getting her hands on confidential Jabot info? Phyllis is also disappointed that Lauren didn’t agree to Jack’s request to give Jabot preferential shelf space. Lauren doesn’t see how BnS’s turnaround affects Parker Beauty (which hasn’t even launched yet) Jack may have convinced Phyllis that Billy will be all hers if they tank BnS but he doesn’t have your best interests at heart, Lauren warns – especially when it comes to Billy.
Ashley’s beside herself – those files contain my intellectual property – they could be sold to the highest bidder. We don’t know what they took or who ‘they’ are, Ravi only knows they used a legitimate password. Thoughtful, Ashley might know exactly who did this. Ravi will check IP addresses on Jabot registered computers. OK and then Ashley will take it from there.
Going over the Jabot files, Billy and Vikki learn that they’re restructuring some old classics including Jabot JR. They already have a marketing plan, ad buys and a launch date set to target the millenniums (and a huge budget) Dare’s been a surprise hit but maybe BnS should focus on another demographic – we’re a small company with a small budget. We need something dazzling to beat Jabot to the punch, Billy decides.
Ashley confronts Graham in his (or Dina’s) suite. She knows what he did and demands the truth. Graham’s snide and sarcastic – and drops hints that her Mother’s told him a lot about the Abbott family.
Ravi asks to speak with Dina outside Jack’s office – he needs to check the security settings on her laptop. Here you go, Dina appreciates all his help. Your dedication is rare these days. You can never be too careful, Ravi leaves with her laptop under his arm.
Crisis averted, Abby ends her call and tells her Dad that she knows Nikki still loves him. You guys would be back together if it weren’t for Jack’s interference. As Abby leaves, Nikki arrives – to thank Victor for the photo; a memory of a wonderful evening. Now, stay out of my life, she hisses.
Nikki blasts Victor for spying on her – who do you think you are? It’s tacky, disgusting, an invasion of privacy. How dare you walk in here and lecture me! Victor has no idea who took this phone. Don’t you ever walk in here like this again! Left alone, Nikki sees Dina’s name on the envelope.
Phyllis also in his office, Jack again pitches prominent display for Parker Beauty. Lauren won’t rearrange her store because BnS has a sales spike. Of course Phyllis told me – she works for me, not you. Lauren will promote both lines equally – there’s no proof that BnS did anything underhanded. We’re so done here, she stomps out – and is asked into Ravi’s office for a private chat.
Graham denies he’s downloaded anything from Jabot’s servers – he’s in no hurry to inherit from Dina and why would he risk her disinheriting him? Your way of life must cost a lot, Ashley then asks to look at Graham’s computer.
Vikki’s too freaked out to strategize. Billy’s worried too but trying to channel his anxiety. Both are stunned that Jack’s going after their young demographic. Billy’s sure Phyllis doesn’t know that (or that he accessed her computer) We have bigger problems right now.
