Vikki tells Victor about Ashley’s award – she’s going to a dinner Jack’s hosting with Neil. Billy will be there too, as Phyllis date. Yes, Nikki might be there as Jack’s date. Their chat is interrupted by a text from Nick. Both go into the office to watch The Hilary Hour.

This is a red letter day – Hilary can’t wait to see the reaction to this interview. Thanking Nick yet again, Hilary leaves him and Chelsea to watch the show.

Abby’s at the club watching. Victor and Vikki are watching at BnS. Nick faces the camera to reveal what being a Newman is really all about. What’s Nick doing? Do you know?! an alarmed Vikki asks her Dad.

Phyllis smooths Billy’s ruffled feathers – you’ll be at the celebration tonight; the important one. Wait til you see the dress I’m wearing. In the hallway, Phyllis assures Billy that all is well – she won’t let Jack or Vikki come between them ~kiss~

Graham’s on the phone with his Mother – we couldn’t ask for a better opportunity to blow Dina’s world apart, just like she did ours. After tonight, no one in that sick, spoiled family will want to speak to her ever again. After hanging up, Dina comes in to admire how nice he looks. She goes to get ready – so excited Graham’s coming along. I wouldn’t miss this for anything, he smiles.

Both dressed for dinner, Traci tells Ashley that her friend remembered another Graham. She opens the yearbook to a photo of Graham Davis. Ashley looks at the photo as Traci prattles on – do you remember the Davis family?

Next: At Top of The Tower, Nikki snips at Hilary/Jack – excuse me – I have to go see what this woman’s done to my family now …. Chelsea and Nick watch on the sidelines. Hold on, here we go, Chelsea’s anxious/excited … Do you really want to do this here? Graham asks. You bet I do, Ashley replies with determination.

My Thoughts: Huh. Ashley’s the 2017 Innovator of the Year – so why is Jack touting success from her past; Hex (a 2015 fragrance too rapey to even go to market) And Tuvia? What a joke. This 2003 (yes, 14 years ago!) ‘innovation’ geared towards ‘women of colour’ was in hot competition with Satine (Newman’s line) Then everyone dropped it for anti-aging creams, teenagers and now a men’s line ….. Since Gloria and Abby were both in attendance, Jack should have also mentioned the cream Gloria tainted – that Abby severely burnt herself with (and she was the lucky one) Of course Jack has to mention how much this evening is costing him (like he’s paying out of his personal piggy bank and not writing it off) … So Brent is Ashley’s half-sister. So what. Blood isn’t that thick in GC. And no one’s going to give a rats ass about how poorly Mrs Davis and her son were treated 40 years ago. Especially not after Graham drops the bomb that Ashley’s Father wasn’t John Abbott.
