Sorry you feel that way Mr Helton, Cane hangs up to surprise Lily with the news that he doesn’t care that his daughter and only grandson are in jeopardy. She’s astonished that a Father would be so callous – this means Juliet and this baby will need Cane more than ever.
Taking Nikki aside, Hilary tells her that the photos are hers to keep – the originals are on this flashdrive. Nikki still doesn’t get what she wants. Hilary finally gets around to telling Nikki that Jordan took the photos.
Arriving at Victor’s office and asked to sign an NDA, Neil now knows how Vikki repaid her loan in full. Yes, and the Newmans want to control the announcement before it leaks. NE’s PR team are out – they want to hire Neil’s new PR firm. OK but he wants all of NE’s PR work. Hearing that Victor’s throwing a party for Abby tomorrow, Neil suggests announcing the merger then – but you two have to be the center of attention, not Abby. Vikki thinks that perfect; Abby’s a team player.
Abby meets Dina at CL’s. Glossing over troubles with Jack, Dina’s invited to her party tomorrow. Of course – I adore you, she gushes. You don’t judge me. Abby adores Dina too. We’re so much alike, Dina says. Going to the counter for treats, Abby’s alarmed to look back and see Dina stuffing packets of sweetener into her purse.
Is everything OK with you? Abby returns to ask Dina. Yes, of course – and she’ll take Abby’s advice and go talk to Jack. You’re not going to eat? Abby asks. Oh, croissants – yummy, yummy, Dina grabs one and walks out. Something wrong? Scott appears to note that she looks troubled – and that she’s been telling people he may have murdered a woman.
At BnS, Nikki can tell by the lack of workers that the company is in deep trouble. We’re in transition, Vikki can’t say more. All will be revealed soon. Relaying that she just came from seeing Hilary, Nikki asks how well Vikki knows Jordan Wild.
Victor’s pleased that’s Neil’s excited (and shouting as he wears an earpiece/phone) Good to see you back in your element. Neil says this project came along at just the right time. He appreciates Victor hiring him on – this is his own company and he’s enjoying the hell out of it.
Nikki delights Jack by coming all the way over to say hi (though she was in the building to see Vikki anyway) Perched on Jack’s desk, Nikki has no idea what Vikki’s up to (and wouldn’t talk about it if she did) If he and Billy can make up, Jabot and BnS can coexist too. As they’re about to kiss, Dina barges in – get a room why don’t you?
Abby isn’t telling everyone that Scott’s a murderer – she just talked to Nick because he’s Faith’s Father. Even if you’re innocent, this story is putting Sharon and Faith in danger. Scott implies that Abby’s not a good judge of character (which she disagrees with) I’m not letting you ruin this great day, Abby boasts that her Father is throwing a party to celebrate her success. Jack stands by as Nikki and Dina bicker. When Dina calls Nikki a gold-digging floozy, he has to grab Nikki’s arm – let’s reel it in ladies. After a few more harsh insults, Dina huffs out to leave Jack with his ‘gyrating strumpet’.
Jordan’s been summoned to BnS – he’s so excited about the big move; where are we headed to anyway? We? Vikki doesn’t need a photographer who hides in the bushes to take photos of her Mother. She values trust and loyalty. Right now – you’re zero for two. You’re fired.
Hilary’s at GCM to ask Cane how Juliet is. Lily returns to the waiting room – is it appropriate for you to be here? Hilary’s worried about her friend and has more right to be here than Lily. You’re the reason she’s in that operating room! Cane reminds Hilary that Juliet’s had complications. It’s no one’s fault. Hilary will go wait elsewhere – call me with any updates. Cane’s left to mope over a sonogram print-off.
In the operating room, the surgeon says they need to remove the baby asap before they lose them both.
