Dina will tell the police the truth – Nikki started the fight. I stabbed her in self-defense. I feared for my safety. Mike arrives to ask Dina not to say anymore. Paul’s there to place Dina under arrest. Do you want to cuff me? Dina politely holds up her wrists. Paul doesn’t think that necessary. As Dina leaves with Mike, Paul pauses to say that after booking, Dina will be taken to the hospital. Also leaving, Ashley and Jack hope they’re doing the right thing.
Sharon won’t rise to Lauren’s ridiculous accusations – Scott makes his own choices. Lauren blames Sharon for involving Scott in this sex ring. You put my son in danger. Sharon’s sarcastic – right, I manipulated the whole thing. Lauren wants Sharon to stay away from her son. When Nick comes over to referee, Lauren leaves warning Sharon that nothing better happen to her son.
Mike and the 3 Abbott’s get off the elevator at GCM to bump into Nikki (who wonders what idiotic Judge let this dangerous woman out on bail) Dina feels she did the world a favour by stabbing Nikki. You’re a crazy old bat, Nikki snaps. Please don’t bait her, Jack looks frustrated as Nikki gets on the elevator.
In Victor’s office, Vikki needs to talk about what happened last night; it was announced that Design Date is a front for prostitution. Victor asks Vikki to shut the door then fills her in on Scott waking up next to a dead hooker. Zack framed him. We have to find Abby. This is a nightmare.
Nikki’s now in Victor’s office too – alarmed to hear that Abby’s been kidnapped by a murderer!? Jack and Ashley MUST be told. Vikki doesn’t think that a good idea – the police and NE’s security are working on it. Nikki demands Victor let Ashley and Jack know. OK, he’ll make the call.
At GCM, Mike tells Ashley and Jack that if the tests come back all clear, they’ll have to say that Dina acted in self-defense. Getting the call from Victor, Ashley’s so shocked she drops the phone.
Back at the coffee shop, Sharon appreciates Nick taking care of her. Nick thinks Scott immature and has too much hair but will restrain himself. Sharon gripes about the terrible things Lauren said to her. They then discuss Dina attacking Nikki. Nick’s bummed that nobody called him (until his Mom did) He doesn’t regret cutting ties with Victor but won’t let that keep him from the people he loves.
Now in Victor’s office, Ashley’s in a panic – the police have no idea where Zack took Abby!? He’ll use her for ransom, Victor assumes. Jack and Ashley take exception when Vikki suggests Abby knew what Design Date really was. When Ashley tells her to ‘get out’, Vikki refuses. I’m COO of this company. Abby’s immature – maybe she fell for whatever Zack told her, she adds. Jack has to wonder if Vikki’s using this to distract from her OWN scandals.
