Jack’s on the phone saying there’s been no price change. Hanging up, he orders Dina out. Are you going to fire me? she asks. Go home – we’ll talk later, Jack gives no reassurance.

Phyllis is on the phone apologizing to her neighbour. You don’t live here anymore, she tells Billy as he stumbles in to confront Jordan. I’m not ‘your woman’ anymore, she growls at him.

Jordan’s room turned upside down, Hilary looks mighty pleased with herself when she finally finds a box hidden in the fireplace of his suite.

Billy tries to throw a punch at Jordan but lands on a chair. I don’t need this hassle, Jordan tells Phyllis when she asks him to stay and for Billy to go. Run along, Billy calls out as Jordan leaves. You’re drunk, Phyllis observes. I love you, Billy says – and repeats it when the cops walk in (likely called by the neighbour)

I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with my sexy wife, a drunken Cane pleads at Lily’s front door. Sirens and lights let him know that the police have arrived there also.

When Gloria comes in to let Jack know she’s done for the day, Jack’s torn – he can’t have Dina at Jabot anymore but can’t have her falling into depression again either. Loving someone always comes with hurt; it’s inevitable. Looking at a framed photo of John, he sighs.

Musical montage of sad people – Dina does indeed look depressed; at the Abbott home all alone. Phyllis wanders around her apartment looking all alone. Billy’s in a cell at the station looking all alone. Hilary’s the only happy one – in her suite looking through Jordan’s box, she finds some ID and a hard drive. Jordan drinks alone at the bar, looking at a photo of him and Lily on his phone. Lily’s at home moping over a framed wedding photo. Both now in the same cell, Billy and Cane share a sad look. At least they aren’t alone anymore.

Next: Counselor, where’s your client? Mike asks the woman who walks into the courtroom. That’s what I’d like to know, Lily adds … Paul looks up from his desk – can I help you with something? Yes, Jordan would like to report a burglary…. Hilary’s on the phone – we’re doing a live show. I need you at the station pronto… The rebuilding; when do we start? Noah asks. Never, is Nick’s reply.
