At Underground, Noah asks Nikki where grandpa is – he wants to give him his condolences. When Vikki joins them, Nikki updates that Tessa’s coming to the party (which seems to delight Noah) Aside, Nikki relays confronting Victor. I won’t let him hurt any of us again, she vows to Vikki.

Telling her Dad about her essay, Faith goes in to start on it. Victor doesn’t need any more grief. Nick declares his and Vikki’s support for their Mom. Fine, but don’t come between me and Faith, Victor says. I’m her Father – and one call to Paul and you go back to prison, Nick fires back.

On the balcony, Hilary reassures Jordan with a kiss. Their hook-up at GC Buzz wasn’t a one-time thing but next time Hilary envisions a bed.

Kissing Mariah on the couch, Devon asks if she wants to go upstairs. Mariah puts the breaks on – if and when this happens, she wants to make sure Hilary isn’t on either of their minds. Devon will wait as long as Mariah wants to. With another kiss and awkward chuckles, Devon shows Mariah out.

Scott and Phyllis are drunk. You’re the sexiest woman in this room, he declares – then mops up Phyllis’ chest when she spills on it. And now it’s time for some passionate kissing.

Noah greets Reed and Tessa enthusiastically. Across the room, Vikki can’t believe Dad agreed to stay away tonight. I didn’t give him a choice, Nikki replies.

Hitting the bag a few more times, Victor demands respect from Nick – I’m your Father. I’ve lost my wife and children. You’re not suffering, Nick scoffs – Chelsea and Connor are. Do something about it then – hit me, Victor taunts – until Nick does.

Next: Whoa – sorry, yikes! Kevin walks in on a barely dressed Phyllis and Scott … Vikki tells Billy – I know you didn’t work with Chloe 0 that’s not who you are. What’s going on? Billy’s confused … It’s nothing to worry about, Nick tells Faith. Why’d you hit Grandpa? she asks in alarm.

My Thoughts: Who arrives outside someone’s apartment hollering ‘are you home?’ before even ringing the bell – and looking around as if the front door might hold some clue. I’m sure the neighbours don’t appreciate the racket. And only in GC do people answer the door in a towel – because grabbing a robe is so time-consuming… Nikki acts as if this is the first time Victor’s brought a psychopath into their lives – clearly forgetting about Patty (twice), Marco and of course, Meggie McLean – who spiked Nikki’s drinks so she’d fall off the wagon. That’s just off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s others… Nice that Nikki actually admits that ‘for once’ she’s putting her family first (admitting that she’s always put her kids second to Victor) Nikki’s not putting Faith first though (as she walked into the hostile environment I mentioned just yesterday) … Nice goin’ Nick – now you can go to prison too – for assaulting your Father, in front of your young daughter no less. As much as Nick hates his Dad off and on, it’s never enough for him to move off his property.
