Wow – Jack declares Diane ‘a vision’. You’ve outdone yourself, she kisses him in a candle-filled Society.

Jill appears – also curious about Maime’s intentions towards Chancellor Winters. Maime thinks it rather rude of Jill to crash her private party. She plans to be a strong presence in her family again. Lily and Nate are glad Maime’s back. Jill wants to know what the hell she’s up to.

We should have been made aware of this back alley deal, Jill asks Vikki and Abby if they knew of Victor’s plans to sell his stake in CW (they didn’t) When Lily and Devon make it clear that Nate’s in their bad books, Maime speaks of love and family – as Neil and Dru would want.

Having the restaurant all to themselves, Jack and Diane dance. We will seize the day tomorrow – and say our vows in front of everyone.

You only see shadows and secrets, Maime tells Jill – this ain’t about you, honey. As the guest watch the bickering, Jill asks Maime how much it’ll take to buy her out.

Maime’s stake is not for sale – at any price. She wants to support Lily and Devon – even if it includes Jill. Includes me!? Jill crows – I’m the Chancellor in Chancellor Winters! Maime doesn’t want to talk business – let’s toast – to family, friends and togetherness. OK, Jill will stay – because she wants to hear the rest of Maime’s story.

Seated to eat, Jack and Diane toast to love and family. She wonders if Kyle will be Jack’s best man tomorrow – he didn’t attend our civil ceremony. As for business, Jack can’t just replace Billy with Kyle.

Jack can’t choose between his brother and his son. He wants Kyle, a third generation Abbott, involved in the family company – but Billy’s part of that family too. Listing reasons why he can’t cut Billy loose, Jack steers Diane back to celebrating one another.

At the bar, Lily pleads with Jill to not treat Maime like a threat – let’s welcome her. OK, Jill will bite her tongue, but if Maime comes after her …. We know, Lily sighs.

Across the room, Maime flatters Nate, she’s proud of him. You may not be his son but there’s a lot of Neil in you. My father adored Neil, Vikki leaves Maime to scold Nate for not telling her that he’s in a relationship with his boss. After Abby escapes too, Maime grills Nate; basically accusing him of cheating on that nice doctor-lady.

Chuckling as he shrugs off Maime’s lecture, Nate asks his Aunt Maime not to be judgmental. Can you respect our boundaries? She doesn’t want to be a ‘busybody’, she just wants to know that everyone’s happy ~hug~

Devon rushes to Abby – sorry I abandoned you. He’s suspicious of Maime. Jill accosts her – you’ve come a long way; pulling this off takes ‘some smarts’. Maime won’t show her hand.

At Lily’s, Daniel doesn’t see anything suspicious about Maime’s investments. And, now it’s time to make out.

Still in the lounge, Nate appreciates the way Vikki handled herself. No! There’s no way he’d leave Newman for CW (as Maime hinted at) No, she’s not trying to get rid of ‘Sir’ Nate ~kiss~

Back at the house, Diane thanks Jack for a ‘magical’ evening. Tomorrow, they say their vows in front of all their family and friends. Together we can handle anything, like going up to bed hand in hand.

Jack and Diane make out in bed.

At the estate, Jill asks Abby how her Mom is – give her my best. She’s relieved that the estate is in good hands. Oh, the times she’s had in this house. Devon understands why she’s suspicious – he doesn’t know Maime well. Jill does – there’s a surprise behind the surprise.

In her suite, Maime pours herself some champagne and laughs – cheers to me. Yeah, yeah, I just got bakc to my suite – it went off without a hithc – they don’t have a clue. It went perfect, she laughs.
