Lily comes home to admire what Cane’s done with the place and how nice the twins look. And now it’s time for a family chat/Ashby love-fest.

Neither Nikki or JT are impressed when Victor takes Vikki off to talk business for a few minutes. Welcome back to the family, Nikki basically tells JT he better get used to it. Across the room, Devon is in PR mode when asking Victor to dance with Nikki (which he immediately does) Vikki returns to toast to ‘new beginnings’ with champagne but JT’s again annoyed when she has to finish up some work on her phone. As Simone performs, Hilary’s enjoying her dance with Devon – until he informs that he’s not here alone – he’s dating Simone.

Across the room, Billy entertains Phyllis with running commentary of people the dancefloor. JT’s more a beer guy than champagne. And Victor’s a tequila man. He can’t believe Nikki’s still married to him. You have marriage on the brain, Phyllis comments.

Arriving with Nick, Chelsea spots Phyllis but refuses to leave – I have nothing to hide, she says defiantly.

Billy hopes Phyllis won’t make a scene with Chelsea. She won’t – unless the favour she asked of JT proves her guilt. I need to go powder my nose, Phyllis hurries off. At their table, Chelsea and Nick clink glasses and toast to love – to us. When Billy comes along to ask where JT is, Vikki tells him that he’s in the bathroom . Pulling her onto the dancfloor, Billy’s asked if he’s thinking of marrying Phyllis. Just a few feet away, a furious JT shakes his head then marches off. Unaware, Vikki tells Billy that Phyllis big surprise might be a proposal.

Mattie places Sam in his bassinet then gives Charlie rings to hang on to. Lily then comes out to explain that Chelsea combined her two wedding dresses (apparently with the ugliest parts of each) Now standing in front of the flower arbour, the Ashby’s talk about trust and second chances. Mattie has something to say – if we’re being truly honest, we won’t make it past another ordeal like the last one.

Encouraged to continue, Mattie and Charlie say their piece (even bringing up Jordan) And now it’s time for hugs. Mattie asks her Dad to forgive her (which he does without hesitation) Lily then brings Sam over for the love-fest.
