They changed the locks, Abby points out as Dina bangs on the door of room 5. Graham – that’s the name of the man from the country club. No, Graham’s the name of your companion from France, Abby explains. Dina sobs against the motel room door – at least we have a reminder of the love we shared. Every time I look at Jackie, I see you my love, Dina sniffles.
Brought to the hospital by Sharon, Faith’s sent to the vending machine while Sharon gives Nick a mini-counselling session. Victor’s always been such a constant in our lives. Sharon wonders what life would be like without him. Nick’s thinking the same thing. Mom must be too.
In the hallway, Jill comes along to tell Nikki how sorry she is about Victor. Her concerns about the park can wait. Nikki shares her ideas for a town square, an electronics-free zone, and eco-friendly playground. Jill’s sorry she misunderstood – it sounds lovely. The dedication ceremony was to be Friday but will be postponed due to Victor’s condition, Nikki adds.
Vikki’s not happy to find Ashley behind Victor’s desk – declaring herself acting CEO. The meeting between the three of us never happened (there’s been no memo or announcement) Vikki points out – it’s my word against yours – who will the board members believe? Me, a Newman? Or an Abbott?
At the Abbott mansion, over wine, Abby fills her Mother in on her day with Dina. She kept a kept a key all this time – it all adds up – she seems so sure. Ashley admits it lends credibility to Dina’s story but we should still keep this between us. Answering the door, Abby leaves Paul to inform Ashley that he knows she sent a text warning Victor that Jack was headed his way. If things go badly, Jack could be facing a murder charge.
