JT snarls about Vikki tracking him down and isn’t happy to hear that Billy told her he was at the reunion. Vikki’s more concerned with the terrible things Mac’s saying. It doesn’t seem like her. Thanks for the support, JT finishes his drink and goes over to grab Billy by the arm and warn him to stay out of his life.

Ashley ends a call confirming that the DNA test will be done tonight. Abby’s brought down Jack and Traci’s hair brushes. About to put them in a bag, the ladies are surprised when Paul and an officer barge in with a search warrant. Let’s start upstairs, Paul leaves Abby and Ashley to read the warrant.

You afraid Vikki will hear something from Mac? Billy taunts. Oh, she’s heard plenty of Mac’s ‘hysterical ranting’, JT assures. That doesn’t sound like the Mac Billy knows. She’s not the saint you think she is, JT sneers as he walks off.

No, Lily didn’t know that JT and Vikki were engaged – do you want him back? No, Mac touches on how JT changed the last few years. He’s got serious issues and Mac doesn’t want to be anywhere near him. He’s getting worse and Mac doesn’t want anyone to go through what she did. Despite Lily seeing no signs that JT’s changed, Mac insists he has. Billy comes over to ask Mac if there’s anything he and Vikki should know; my kids live under that roof and so does Reed, he reminds.

JT sits to chat with Brit. She wasn’t thrilled to come tonight either but is having a good time. When JT complains about Mac, Brit gives him her card. She’d love to be his divorce attorney. Mac didn’t appreciate you, Vikki’s much more your type, Brit concludes.

Billy brings Mac over to Vikki – if you’re marrying JT, you owe it to our kids and yourself to know exactly what you’re getting into.

The camera again rolling, Hilary has fresh ‘buzz’ from her fans in the valet department downstairs. Two members of (in her opinion) GC’s ‘first family’ are about to get off the elevator. The handsome and debonaire Jack Abbott and his best selling author sister appear on cue. Asked about Victor, Jack doesn’t think it appropriate to comment. Turned down by her own sponsor, Hilary jokes that it’s a good thing she’s wearing waterproof mascara ~cut~

Still at home, Ashley quietly tells Abby that she has no idea whether Jack attacked Victor and when Paul reappears she asks if she can go with Abby to see Victor. Sure, Paul leaves without saying whether he found anything. Ashley and Abby weren’t able to tell if Paul had anything in his evidence bag. But now it’s time to get the hair samples to the hospital for the DNA test.

Getting off the elevator, Chris tells Phyllis that she’s standing in for the mayor tonight. Why is Phyllis here? She paid enough tuition to Walnut Grove to crash any party they throw. Phyllis then hands Chris a badge to wear with the name ‘Cricket’ – for old time’s sake. Hilary appears to insert herself into the conversation – I didn’t know you two were friends. Tell our viewers about it? Chris will leave Phyllis to tell the story of running her over with her car. As Chris walks off, Phyllis tells a confused Hilary that Chris is her Lily.

Billy at her side, Mac explains to Vikki how JT started to change after Becka was born. He became possessive. Billy likens that to JT getting mad at Vikki for dancing with him. When Vikki shrugs that off, Mac continues – you don’t even realize JT’s making you doubt yourself – he tells you that you’re too sensitive or paranoid. Vikki knows there’s always two sides to a story. Yes, but marriage counselling made Mac realize that JT’s emotionally abusive. At Billy’s insistence, Mac then tells Vikki that JT made her feel like a terrible Mother. Honesty can sound harsh, Vikki experienced none of this when married to JT before – maybe the problem was you. As JT comes along to again lead Vikki away, Lily takes the stage to make some jokes and introduce Traci (who gives a weepy speech that announces the scholarship in Colleen’s memory that has everyone dabbing at their eyes) In the background, Vikki watches and claps along with everyone else as JT hugs Traci.

Sitting down for a chat with Traci, JT thinks Colleen would be disappointed in him. You don’t know what I’ve done, he sighs when Traci disagrees. If you ever need to talk… Colleen was no saint, but she always found a way to make amends, Traci encourages. Not this time – what I did, I did for her, but I messed things up, JT frowns. When Vikki joins them, Traci leaves her to ask JT if he’s OK.
