Having talked to Chris, Paul informs Vikki that no charges will be laid but they’ll continue the investigation and expect her full cooperation when JT is found. Vikki will help in any way she can.
Nikki reports that Jack called – and is sorry she missed Ashley. It’s good that Jack’s trying to reach out. When Nikki wonders what her business associate is doing here so early in the morning, Abby explains that they waited at the cabin for Jack That’s kind and considerate – aren’t we lucky to have met such a great guy, Nikki hopes Arturo didn’t take advantage of Abby’s vulnerability. We were just looking for my Uncle Jack, Abby thanks them both.
Outside, Arturo has to get to work. We have to talk, Nikki thought she made it clear that she doesn’t approve of him seeing Abby – it’s a little too close. Arturo points out that their situation has changed; I can date whoever I want. Abby’s not my type. Really? Was I your type? Nikki’s surprised. Arturo thinks his dating life should be left off the table. It won’t be uncomfortable unless Nikki makes it that way.
Back at the cabin, Jack goes from one framed photo to the next; looking at them before putting them face down (Dina’s is more of a slam) He’s clearly in distress.
Still at the club, Paul’s on the phone with Chris; Vikki’s sticking to her story – maybe she’s telling the truth (and doesn’t know where JT is) or maybe she’s an excellent liar (which is what he believes)
