At Jabot, Phyllis is on the phone with Hilary. No, she didn’t call the PI. She needs to check out some things first; like Jabot’s security log. Ashley comes over to question why Phyllis (a Fenmore’s employee) is checking Jabot’s logs. Phyllis is checking whether employees are billing for overtime while napping in Billy’s pod room. Ashley warns her to be careful with her accusations then asks about the company yacht. Where was it taken for repairs? She’s not obsessed – Jabot’s finances are her job. Sure there’s nothing to ‘dig up’, Phyllis goes on her way.

Back at the condo, Summer finds Billy online looking for another poker game. You were cleaned out, she reminds – how will you get into a high stakes game. Billy will figure that out when he finds a game. You’re an addict, Summer warns he’s heading down a dangerous path. Billy’s determined – and losing is not an option. Without further word, Summer leaves for work.

Arriving on the rooftop, Mariah spots Summer – who spots her and leaves the guy she’s chatting with to come over. Another heartbroken – do you even know his name? Mariah quips. Does it matter? Summer isn’t interested. Guys are disposable to you, Mariah denies she’s jealous; she’s curious as to how Summer gets so many people attracted to her. You want to know how to be a ‘snowflake’, Summer teases.

Claiming that he’s at HWG to talk to Hilary (who isn’t there) Kyle asks Tessa why she didn’t join him and Mariah at CL’s earlier – are you avoiding me because I asked you out? Told that he’s not Tessa’s type, Kyle didn’t get it then – but he does now.

Still at home, Billy’s on the phone selling a block of mutual funds; 20, no 30K – deposit it to my personal account. I can’t wait three days, he reminds Tom how long they’ve been doing business. Putting Tom on hold, Billy reads a text from Sinead – are you in tonight?

At Neil’s penthouse, Ashley’s told that the delicious smell is beef tournedos with chanterelle mushrooms and brandy truffle cream sauce (made by yours truly) No, Ashley’s not vegan, she’s just very impressed. And Neil’s very grateful for their beneficial exchange of information and wants to put work aside to focus on each other’s company. As Neil goes to check on dinner, Billy finally calls Ashley – who has questions about the boat. It’ll be back in the water in a week, Billy assures (but does not look sure after he hangs up)

Handing Ashley a glass of wine, Neil reports that dinner’s almost ready. Asked about how Victor might react, Neil figures Digi Real would just have replaced NE without someone else; they’d already cut ties with NE. It’s just business – Victor taught me that. He’s been a mentor, colleague and friend – occasionally an enemy. Throw in ‘husband’ and that’s Ashley’s relationship with Victor too. She again thanks Neil for giving her a heads up that there was a storm brewing at NE. Neil lists Ashley’s great qualities – you’re an honorable person and tough business woman – it’s a turn on. They seem about to kiss when the doorbell rings. Spotting Ashley, Victor’s there to ask why his good friend has stabbed him in the back.

In Billy’s office, Phyllis can’t find anything in the security logs to prove he was there last night. Billy then calls with bad news – it’s going to be another late night. Don’t wait up. I love you. I love you too. Yes, Ashley got a hold of him – she had questions about Jaboat (which he answered) Gotta go, Billy ends the call and folds/pockets a fake invoice for 30K in boat repairs he’s printed off.

At the rooftop bar, Mariah won’t accept Summer’s pity – but she will accept the free shot and some advice on attracting people. Be confident, Summer advises – believe you’re attractive. Be ‘hotter’. Mariah apologizes for her ‘snark’ and gets more advice that concludes with Mariah doubling her dating pool by not limiting herself to one gender. Or double the number or rejections – Mariah says ‘thanks’ as Summer goes to work on her wardrobe.
