Abby tells Arturo why Sharon dislikes her (she slept with Scott) Arturo doesn’t want to discuss any other women except Abby. Sharon reappears wanting an answer – will Abby be her bridesmaid? No, Sharon doesn’t forgive her. Do you want me to carry a bouquet or stay out of your face? Abby’s frustrated – pick a position. YOU pick a position, Sharon snaps back – oh right, you already did.

At the rooftop bar, Nick introduces himself to a new face (Rey – who’s following a soccer game on his phone) Nice to meet you, Nick says (as he gets a text from Phyllis) Rey’s left looking serious (he’s familiar with the Newman name)

In the club’s dining room, Summer updates Kyle and shows off her cheque. Dad will keep these coming as long as I keep my mouth shut. No, she won’t break her word. Kyle scoffs – did you book us a room? You lost the bet. Summer hasn’t given up in Billy yet and wants the keys to Kyle’s car. You’re 95% ego, 5% lip gloss, Kyle quips. OK – the bet’s still on. Summer’s confident she can get Billy into bed without telling him that Phyllis cheated. And she’s now decided that she might want more from Billy than meaningless sex.

On the rooftop, Neil teaches Ashley the nuances of jazz (and music in general) Yes, he needed this. Ashley did too. How’s the family doing? Neil confides that he can’t protect Devon and Lily from each other. Ashley makes him laugh and refocus on the music – let’s dance.

Sharon doesn’t hate Abby but can’t say she likes her either. Then why ask me to be a bridesmaid? When Nick appears to ask what’s going on, Abby escapes to the patio. When Arturo follows, Abby rants about Sharon being a hypocrite. Arturo thinks she should move on for her brother’s sake. Inside, Nick’s surprised that Sharon asked Abby to be a bridesmaid.

Billy’s sexy and dangerous, Summer gushes. And sleeping with your Mother, Kyle reminds. Summer goes over their history – I don’t want you anymore. You’re gorgeous, entertaining, Kyle admits – but this isn’t your best look. Summer looks mildly embarrassed.

Phyllis and Billy go over to say hello to Summer and Kyle. Billy suddenly needing to back to the office, asks Summer to drive Phyllis home and leaves. After blasting Kyle for telling Summer about her indiscretion, Phyllis snaps at Summer – let’s go. Kyle’s left duly scolded.

Now home, Phyllis is glad Nick made Summer see reason. She should have thought to pull out her paycheck. What else do you want from me? Summer’s fed up. OK, it’s over – we can get back on track – let’s go get our nails done this week. After Phyllis goes up to bed, Summer scowls.
