Tessa comes out to the patio to ensure that everything’s OK with Sharon and Phyllis. After Nikki and Vikki arrive to send a hovering Tessa off to fetch coffee, they pull out the letters they received.

Ashley returns to her office to find Kyle scouring her desk. He blathers on about business with hopes of impressing her. Instead, Ashley’s left to wonder what he’s up to.

After some bickering, the four ladies discuss who might be on to them. Sharon tattles that Phyllis came to the station waving the letter around; she had to cover with Rey. After a brief interruption by Tessa, Phyllis is back to suspecting Rey – but Sharon wonders if Victor could be behind it.

Joining Kyle at the club, Jack’s not happy to hear that he accessed some accounts on Ted’s computer while he was on lunch (and learned that Type A Consultanting is being paid monthly but there’s only a PO box for Andrew Lenford; it’s a shell company – no office or lab) Andrew has gone rogue – why would Ashley contract an unknown company with no actual office for no actual services? She’s hiding something. Jack wants to handle it his way.

Lily tells Cane about a fellow inmate whose kids have been put in the system (not even together) She seems to feel guilty that she has a home and family to go home to. When Cane offers to write a cheque, Lily doesn’t think it enough. She has new perspective and wants to make a difference.

Jack drops by Ashley’s office to ‘offer support’ and ask what Type A Consulting is working on. That’s not your problem; Ashley has everything covered. Kyle barges in to say that Type A Consulting is a shell company. When Ashley scolds him for accessing files he shouldn’t, Kyle wants to know why she’s paying Andrew Lenford with company funds.

Ashley’s arrangement with Andrew involves cleaning up one of Billy’s messes. Odd, he never mentioned Billy, Kyle relays that Andrew’s pissed that Ashley nixed their deal and claims to have info that will hurt her and Jabot. When Jack asks for an explanation, Ashley declares it a non-issue. Are you being blackmailed? We’re family – and if this guy has something on you we want to help, Jack claims.

Cane worries that Lily’s new friend might have an ulterior motive. Lily doesn’t understand why he won’t help this woman keep her kids together. We already have enough going on, Cane’s sorry – he just misses Lily. Taking the family photo Cane gives her, Lily’s about to sulk out but cane doesn’t want to leave her like this.
