Coming home with Traci and Kyle, Abby recalls the guilt Dina felt when making a confession that was a lie her Mother concocted. What about me? Kyle’s infuriated by Ashley’s twisted lie. He’s never felt a part of the Abbott legacy until it was taken away from his Dad. Thank God it’s all a lie, Traci consoles. Kyle will never forget what Ashley did.

Ashley’s done – she has a company to run. Jack’s not – was he to go to his grave not knowing who his Father was? Ashley was going to tell him the truth over the holidays. Merry Christmas Jackie – it came two months early this year. Jack looks even more furious and disgusted if that’s possible.

Phyllis won’t pay the blackmailer a penny. Nikki will. Let’s take a vote. It’s two against two. Phyllis and Vikki vs. Sharon and Nikki. We don’t leave here until we’ve made a decision, Phyllis announces.

Sharon appeals to Vikki – I thought you were smarter (than Phyllis and Nikki) Vikki agrees that the blackmailer might be bluffing – let’s see what they do next. When Nikki caves in, Sharon has no other choice but to wait the 24 hours.

Traci was angry when Colleen died – then came grief – then loss; every single day. She won’t have a second chance – but Kyle can reconnect with his Father. We must come together as a family (though nobody understands how Ashley could do this)

Back at Jabot, Jack continues to talk about human decency. Ashley defends her actions – John Abbott would see my side and forgive me. If you really want to be like him you’ll forgive me too. He’d be disgusted, Jack takes a letter opener and pries Ashley’s name-plate off the office door. You’ve disgraced everything John Abbott cared about! he shouts. Ashley shrieks as he hurls her chair through the window into the reception area.
