Rey suspects that Sharon’s quitting because they almost crossed the line. Mariah arrives to talk to her Mom. She and Tessa are moving in together – today. Sharon asks – why the rush? Mariah doesn’t want to lose Tessa, Sharon wishes her luck and love ~hug~

Kerry and Phyllis are working like a finely oiled machine and on the same page with making changes to Jabot. Nikki and Vikki arrive for pleasant introductions. But after Kerry leaves, Phyllis shouts at the Newmans to leave her the hell alone (and marches out)

In a visiting room, Rey admits that he has feelings for Sharon. Sharon agrees that he’s a complication she can’t have in her life.

Tessa balks at the ‘old throw’ Mariah insists on bringing. With one last look around the only real home she’s ever known, she follows Tessa out.

Jack introduces Kerry to Nate as he’s leaving. Jack has another proposition for her.

Feeling they got on the wrong foot, Jack invites Kerry to a launch party for the Jabotiques. Kerry will definitely think about it.

Tessa seems embarrassed by her tiny apartment. It’s perfect; it’s home, Mariah assures her with a kiss.

yes, Sharon’s as curious as everyone else. Rey can’t tell her why it’s now a murder case. Needing to go speak with the ADA, he tells Sharon to rethink quitting – we have unfinished business.

Phyllis returns to her office to find Vikki and her Mom waiting. Sharon wants to quit her job at the station. We need to remain a united front and prepare for what happens next. What happens next is that Phyllis is OUT of this cabal.

We’re in this together. Phyllis won’t flip on the others – but these charity meetings and gatherings are arousing suspicion, especially with Rey. We’ll be harder to hit as individual targets. Unable to disagree, Vikki and Nikki watch Phyllis march out.

Rey doesn’t want to be the cause of Sharon leaving a job she’s perfect for – in which she can help so many people. I’ll be at my desk if you need me, Sharon replies meekly.

Trying to find room for her stuff, Mariah wonders why Tessa has so many packed bags. I used to live in my car, Tessa reminds. Sending Mariah out for more luggage, Tessa hides a bag of money that fell out of the closet – then gives Mariah a guilty hug.
