Mattie’s home to apologize to her Dad – and say that she made things worse at the hearing by speaking on Reed’s behalf. Oh well, he has to figure things out for himself. Pleased by her attitude, Cane would love nothing more than to make Mattie pancakes.

Vikki worries Reed’s on a slippery slope – hopefully he isn’t on a downward spiral. How about boarding school? she asks JT.

Ashley knows Jack just wants her in the lab so she’ll forget about being CEO. Amending the bylaws hurt me deeply, she scolds her brother. When Dina blurted out my paternity, you said I WAS an Abbott. Two months later you say I can’t run the company because I’m not. You’re just like Graham – he’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants, no matter who it hurts. How can you say that to me? Jack’s stunned. How can you DO this to me? Ashley has the last word.

Mariah’s at home watching TV in her jammies when Sharon comes home with Kathy and her two ‘adorable kids’ – they’re staying with us tonight.

Not agreeing that boarding school is a good idea, JT again lectures Vikki – Reed needs us both to be present in his life. Yes, taking him away from his Mom for years was a mistake but JT thinks it more important to help Reed than assign blame. We’ll fix this together, he gives Vikki a hug. No, she doesn’t need him to stay longer. After JT leaves, Reed tiptoes down the staircase with his guitar and a bag – and sneaks out the front door.

Ashley compared me to Graham, Jack’s at home to whine to Traci (who sees why her sister’s hurt) When Ashley comes home, she announces that she’s called her attorney (Tony) – we’re moving ahead with the arbitration.

A mystery person has snuck into Jabot’s lab, which is dark except for the colourful lights illuminating all sorts of chemicals on shelves. He’s basically shopping for stuff; looking through bottles and jars; some of which go in his bag. Beakers, test tubes and bottles that spill out onto the floor are crunched beneath his feet. The thief finally takes the little glass bottle that Ashley had moved to another shelf because it was too ‘toxic’ to sit with the others.

Next: according to my TV guide (no preview) Victor and Nikki enjoy their new alliance …. Ashley is a target for revenge … Tebsions rise between Vikki and JT.

My Thoughts: If Graham was always two steps ahead of everyone, he wouldn’t have taken Dina to the GCAC. He would have whisked her off to the airport just like he did last time (this time she’s even willing to go) Or, he could have taken her to a hotel where they’re less likely to run into someone who knows them (or the Abbotts) …. What the heck kind of safety precautions does Jabot’s lab go by if toxic chemicals aren’t marked ‘toxic’? Please, please – not another explosion/fire … Perhaps the mystery person who broke into Jabot’s lab is Ravi; who’s angry that Ashley rejected him.
