Rage n' Revenge
Nick can't believe Sharon's assigning blame over Cassie's death - least of all to him. Of course, he wishes they could go back - that they hadn't let her go out. But nothing will bring our daughter back. Sharon understands that - but we have to talk about it. You shut down - or walk out, every time I mention her name. She was OUR daughter - we should deal with this together. Nick insists they are NOT to blame. If we'd stuck to our guns, she'd still be with us today - bad judgment cost us our daughter, Sharon believes. What about Daniel Romalotti? Nick asks: He's TOTALLY responsible - he killed our little girl and will pay for it! Sure, they'll get him for homicide - but what about the rest? He lead her on. I KNOW it. Nick doesn't believe he didn't know Cassie that well. I hate this kid - for what he's taken from us. I want him to look me in the eye and admit what he did. And that will really help? Sharon says scornfully as he grabs her purse and walks.

Arriving at the law office, Phyllis gets updated by Chris: They suspect Daniel's taken off - if he doesn't show up for court at 08:00 this morning, he's a fugitive from the law - about as bad as it can get. Chris warns her to stay away from the courthouse. Last thing he needs is you shooting off your mouth. Chris agrees she can't stop her - but she's already alienated the DA. Phyllis is scared to death. Daniel won't finish high school - he'll be an ex con - plus he has to live with the fact that he killed somebody. Maybe it's better if he stays away. Chris tells her to do what she wants - you will anyway. Phyllis wants Chris to give her some hope - one minute he's sunk - the next there's hope. Chris lays it on the line: she doesn't feel good about his chances. Daniel got drunk and drove a 14 year old girl to her death. My only choice is to go before the judge and say he's a good kid - doesn't deserve to be thrown in prison - why ruin 2 lives? But that good kid's not here because he's on the run. Can you understand what I'm up against!?

Chris...I.... Nick stops as he sees Phyllis - then scowls at her: You had a lot of nerve showing at C's memorial service. Maybe you better leave. Pick up your son. I want to see Daniel, and I want to see him NOW.

Fang You Very Much
Mauling and pawing, Kevin thinks he wants to spend the rest of his life with Geeta - when you meet that someone you just know. He answers a call from Gloria on his cell and excuses himself from Geeta. And while she preens and smiles in the mirror, Kevin gives Gloria the bums rush (no need to come over - I'll see you later). Gloria's left to cool her heels at Crimson Lights.

After some more close contact, Geeta pulls back: I can't believe this is happening - but Yes, it feels right. Kevin needs to be with her forever. You really see a future for us? Geeta's eyes widen. Yes - an amazing, incredible future, Kevin assures: You're about to get exactly what you deserve. When Kevin climbs on top of her on the sofa, Geeta again tries to slow him down. You don't feel the same way? You don't want to be with me? Kevin pouts. Geeta wants privacy - but now?? Kevin wants to take her upstairs and ...(Geeta giggles as he whispers in her ear - then hops up and leads him upstairs).

Gloria creeps into the house and finds it seemingly empty. Kevin races down and picks up a small paper bag: Don't let anyone come upstairs, he instructs as he runs back up (shirt open). If we do this and you leave me, it will break my heart, Geeta coos when her soon-to-be lover rejoins her. Tell me you really care for me. You're going to take advantage of me for your own selfish pleasure, she's soon accusing. You really frustrate me! Kevin complains as he goes to the window - turning his back. My ancestors are Hungarian, he claims. My ancestors are crazy. Don't worry about me - I'll be fine! He opens the paper bag - and encourages Geeta to escape: Go Geeta - before something awful happens! His back to the window, Kevin's mouth is full of blood covered fangs.

Arriving home, John asks Gloria about Geeta, then decides to go and see if her lights on - maybe leave her a note. As Gloria asks him to stay and talk, a blood curdling scream comes from upstairs.

Shoving The Shutterbug
Kay's visiting as head of CI - and she's not happy (with something Jill hasn't done). Kay hands her a magazine and complains about it being the same 'outdated' ad. It's 'blah'. As the new CEO of Jabot, what in the hell do you expect to do about it? Jill has so much on her plate - butting heads with Jack, finding a replacement for Damon (though she IS getting along better with Ashley). Kay advises her to make advertising her top priority. Jill would love to come up with a good ad campaign. THESES ads are fabulous, she later muses: there HAS to be a way to get the magic back. Of course there is - and I know how to do it.

Brad and Malcolm chit chat as he orders coffee at CL's. Brad announces he quit Jabot - He's had more than enough of the rat race (and Jill Abbott). Jill's the new CEO? Malcolm's surprised to hear - and guesses he's not happy about it. Jack couldn't stomach giving me the job, Brad griped. He wants a Yes-man (or woman) - but he's been kicking himself. Malcolm remembers Jill as a sharp lady. She can't run a company the size of Jabot, Brad assures - she's giving people attitude. Sales are down - key people are jumping ship. It's a matter of time before Kay sees it - and gives him the job.

Sharon walks ever so slowly into the coffee house and takes in the scene before sitting to look about her - and the kids chatting. She startles at a vision of Cassie smiling...talking at the counter. My precious little girl, she repeats. Brad stoops down and leads her outside. I thought I saw Cassie - at the bar, she stammers: I know it wasn't real. She looked the way she used to - smiling - bringing joy to everyone around her. Sometimes, at my house, I walk past her room and I see her at her desk - hear her on the phone. For a brief moment, my daughter's still with me. Then I realize, she's gone. I'll never see, or hold her again. Across the table, Brad takes her hand, and apologizes for not being able to say the right thing You're so blessed - two beautiful little girls, Sharon replies. Brad knows - and wonders how it went with Nick. It didn't go that well, Sharon admites. He didn't even see me - barely heard a word I said. All he could talk about was Daniel Romalotti. Brad tries to understand - as a father, he'd be looking for answers. But Nick's full of rage - ALL his emotions are focused on Daniel, Sharon mopes: I'm afraid what I'll do.

Meanwhile, Jill marches in and confronts Malcolm: there's only one thing I want and he's standing right in front of me. Are you tired of serving coffee? she asks forcefully: A man with your talent, it's not right. She announces her new position as CEO - some don't think I'm up to the job. I'll prove them wrong. I've been waiting for the opportunity to prove I'm as good - and as loyal as Jack and Ash. I need to make my mark - shake things up. You were the best photographer we ever had. We need the Malcolm Winters look - hang up your damn apron and get back to what you were meant to do! Malcolm needs to get back to work - but stops long enough to admire some of his old photos. Yeah - they're not so bad, Malcolm agrees. I did know my way around a camera - sure I miss it from time to time. But, it's not my world. Jill's not talking about the glamour and money - it's about his creativity. Don't turn me down - think about it. Malcolm has to say No. Jill will accept it....for now.

My Thoughts
Today's show rates a 7.5 ... I'd love to see Malcolm back behind the camera taking 'pretty pictures' - but I fear it won't be long before he coaxes Lily into becoming a model *yawn* ... Is there little doubt that Sharon Newman will soon be looking for alternative male company? Poor little Noah .... Ok - So I'm appalled that Daniel took off. He and Lily fail to grasp that - no - throwing him in jail won't bring Cassie back - but it's a punishment that society has deemed fits the crime. With no punishment, there is no deterent. And who is Phyllis kidding (Daniel won't graduate from high school). If US prisons are anything like Canadian prisons, he can come out with a Degree in Sciology (or any other subject he cares to choose). Pretty boy might wanna cut his hair thoughy ... Yeah - we get it - Geeta is superstitious - but is she also mentally slow? Why else would she so easily fall for Kevin's ploy? ... Wringing the last few tears out of Cassie's departure, Sharon will also bring a tear to your eye today. Too bad she didn't go around asking all the kids why they didn't even bother to make the briefest of appearances at Cassie's funeral.

Next: Her hair still slightly mussed up, Geeta announces to John: Mr Abbott - I'm sorry, but I must resign...In the steam room, Paul admits to Brad: Ash and I are kinda dating ...Chris warns Nick: I hope you're not thinking of taking the law into your own hands...
