Sister Act
Tell me the whole thing, a stunned Vikki asks Brad as she goes over the time line - and who knows. All of that business - the one night stand on the cruise, he explains - Victor was the father. By artificial insemination, Vikki amazed: Didn't you smell a rat? I was in love - I wanted to believe her, Brad says. I've got a half sister I didn't know about, Vikki reels: why am I finding out now - from YOU? Brad won't make excuses for her parents. Abby wants nothing to do with Victor since the fall off the horse. Yeah - I AM hoping they'll forget about each other. After Cassie's death, it's not the best time to bring this up, he cautions. How can my mother stand the sight of Ashley Abbott? Vikki wonders.
Over at the ranch, Victor reads a book with Abby. She heard about Cassie and wanted to come, Ash explains to Nikki (who watches from the sidelines with Ash after giving Abby a warm welcome). Precious thing, Nikki smiles - it's just what he needs.
Arriving with Vikki, Brad's surprised to see his daughter sitting with Vic: Hello Abby - Ash, what's going in here? I've been reading to Victor, Abby chirps - having a good time. I brought him here, Vikki announces. Ashley agrees with Daddy - it's almost bedtime. Do we have everything we came with? Yeas, except the bear - that's for Victor. Brad grits his teeth as Victor thanks Abby profusely.
Having a word with Nikki, she explains it was her idea for Abby to visit Victor - and it worked. Did you see that smile? Meanwhile, Victor clarifies to Vikki that he only recently discovered he was Abby's father. He wasn't unfaithful to Nikki. After Brad exits, Vikki does too - still reeling with the knowledge that she has a sister. Nikki weeps and whines: I hope she'll be OK. Lily Scissorhands
Daniel holds clumps of hair in his hand. I'm not a hair stylist but... You look different - that's the idea - right? I don't even recognize myself, Daniel marvels: I guess it's not that bad, he tugs at his short 'do'. We can't risk taking the car - let's call the bus people. You OK? he asks the suddenly quiet Lily. It's scary, she admits - not knowing where you're going - or what you'll do when you get there. Off into the unknown - you're NOT going to jail - it was an accident - NOT a crime, she assures.
Seek and Destroy (the boy)
Phyllis goes to Chris - I have news - but I want a promise. I know where they are. But don't know what I'm gonna do yet. Chris doesn't see she has much of a choice (but to tell her). Phyllis can go get him herself, or... Sharon enters: Nick knows where Daniel and Lily are. Why was Phyllis here? she pauses to wonder (as Phyllis races out). He's determined to get to Daniel before anyone else. Chris told him not to take the law into his own hands - it'll make things worse. Pray he listens to me. Chris doesn't feel there's enough information to help the Winters find Lily. Sharon still feels they have a right to know everything she does.
The jet flies through the night sky: Wally announces via intercom: We're cleared for St Lois.
At the apartment, Dru worries Daniel's headed for the border. Webber's dropped by the Winter's apartment to update (that he has nothing much to update them on). Running to Mexico is unlikely. Where does a frightened child run to? Dru whines - Canada? Does Phyllis know anyone? She's been close mouthed, Webber admits. That's impossible, Dru mutters. He will do whatever it takes not to get caught, and Phyllis will ensure it. Neil quickly jumps in to say they don't know for a fact (that Phyllis is, or would, assist in Daniel's getaway). Entering the room, Devon confirms he hasn't heard form Lily again. Having spoken to Daniel's father, Webber adds that Mr Romalotti will let us know if he shows up. You're done? That's it!? Dru wails. We're doing everything we can, Webber assures.
When Devon tries to be helpful, he's shrugged off: Do you know where my baby is? No...Then just go do your homework, Dru manages to say as she leaves the room in tears.
The girls seemed 18, the manager tries to cover his @ss as he unlocks the room: I didn't know she had a guy with her. Don't worry, Nick assures, you're not in any trouble. Just open the door. Please. The manager reluctantly agrees. Daniel - Lily - it's Nick Newman, he marches about the empty room. They didn't check out, the manager states. If they pull up, don't tell em I'm in this room, Nick instructs as he gives him some cash and waits.
Phyllis makes her way into the darkened motel room - and is soon just a puzzled as Nick to find themselves face to face. Phyllis!? Neil calls Ted - a guy he went to school with - he's ready to put posters up in Little Rock. Devon's doing his homework, Dru informs. Neil has run out of numbers to call, then points out that Devon can't be doing homework - school's out. Devon.. Devon! Dru calls out as she quickly realizes he isn't even there.
Walking into CL's with Sierra, the neglected Devon relays how Dru told him to do his homework: She doesn't even know school's out, he complains - everyone's so focused on Lily I feel I'm in the way. I don't blame them. Their kid's in a mess. But it's still weird - I felt part of things before. Now, I don't. I got to thinking about where I DO belong. I don't even know if my Mom's still strung out. I AM going to go look for her - Yeah. I know where to start. It's dangerous down there, Sierra balks. Go in the daylight. Why wait? For me, Sierra says. He takes her hand - I promise you I'll be OK, he says as he strolls out.
Married To The Mob
As Bobby tries to calm Brit down, Vinnie and his thug enter the club: You get a little package? Brit lunges: It was YOU - you son of a bitch! Bobby restrains her:
Leave her out of this. You bastard, she hisses from Bobby's hold. Leave us alone! Bobby shouts - who sent you!? You're nobody! Vinnie pushes his thug back. You don't threaten my wife and kid - send carlo for pizza. You and me will settle it, Bobby growls. Listen to me - this bartending thing cold be part of something - but it has to be a reason - fits into the big picture, OUR big picture - that's all there is to it - end of story. A businessman might threaten women and children. You're not thinking with your brain. Your wife - the kid - it's pressure points - Nothing personal. When Bobby lunges - Carlos grabs him. All sorts of people could get hurt, Vinnie warns: Let him go - You run, all bets are off. Let's be friends - like the old days, Vinnie says. Once alone, Bobby suggest they take off. Brit refuses. We must put a stop to this for good.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
At the loft, the lovefest continues. I can hear your heartbeat, Mac coos against JT's chest. You sure you're all right? JT repeats. I wish I'd taken you someplace amazing - with flowers and a view - chandeliers. Can't believe I just said that, he laughs. Crystal chandeliers, Mac laughs too - THIS is the perfect place; our homes. I wouldn't want anything different. JT replays the song he wrote for her: Lying here beside you.... not where to go.. I never had the answer.... to the things you want to know... Don't say you wanna go...Don't say you wanna go... JT enjoys his Sun Tea - with extra spices. It's pretty damn good. I can expect lots of this? The sun tea I'm talking about. I make a mean lemonade, Mac boasts - yeah, from scratch. I'm strictly into the real thing. The real thing, JT repeats. Yeah - I am, Mac gazes into his eyes - so, what happens now? That's a heavy question, JT says. Mac feels 'different'. I've never been happier.
My Thoughts
Today's show rates an 8.5... Oops - no time today - tech difficulties - also missed about 10 minutes of today's show - hopefully nothing earth shattering missed. Have a great weekend!
Next: Bobby agrees he has no choice. That means you're in? Vinnie assumes... Sharon worried to Brad about what Nick might do... Nikki tells Victor that they must hold the family together.

For those who were members of the message boards - and therefore, no doubt, a friend of 'Leafy's' - Amy Kay has created a very touching tribute. http://dump.grendosa.com/Leafy.wmv . Just added: my own eulogy or sorts. My thoughts: From the heart - Leafy.
