The Clothes (and the unclothed)
At the mini ranch, Chris claims Cassie's clothes could be vital to Daniel's defense. Not overly sympathetic, Sharon reminds Chris that Nick told her they don't have them. Now Chris wants to hear it from her. You could be obstructing justice. If he's NOT guilty, this was a tragic accident - compounded by the tragedy of an innocent person being blamed. Could you live with yourself? You're not protecting Cassie's memory. Chris is forced to admit they found something - what was Cassie wearing that night. Sharon informs she wore a green skirt - then seeing a brief image of Cassie, wishes she hadn't let her go out that night. When Chris confides they found part of a shoe, she's surprised to hear Cassie wore flat sandals. Chris shows her the baggie with the heel. Could it have come from a pair of Cassie's shoes? It was in the car. Hand over the clothes. Chris then plays hardball - and threatens to call them to testify - we NEED the clothes. She hands over her card. I'm going to leave - call me in a few minutes or the police will come with a search warrant. Nick WILL wish he'd given us the clothes. Call me.

Sharon brings it up as soon as Nick comes home. He doesn't want to talk about the trial (that starts tomorrow). With Noah off for a sleepover, Nick decides: tonight is about us. You and me - two people in love. Her back to him, Sharon looks torn - but wonders what surprise he has in store for her. How about a hint? He hands over a bottle - the evening starts with a bubble bath. I'll show you how this evening is going to start, Sharon purrs as she kisses Nick's neck.

Not So Goodfellas
From the office, Vikki praises Brad on the phone (as he relaxes in a spa like setting). Mike then arrives to disturb Brad as he reclines in the hot tub. He thanks Brad for giving him Sheila Carter's name. Towelling off, Brad tell him that Sheila's a nutcase - she always comes out on top. Mike will slay as many dragons as he has to to give her peace of mind. He knows now why she wants a small wedding - and wishes he knew where Sheila was. Brad provides the name of one person who might be able to help - her ex husband Eric Forrester.

Lauren goes to Paul's office to ask a big favour. She's afraid Mike will suffer because of Sheila - she's criminally insane. He could be in danger. Help me keep Mike safe. Put together a security plan. Paul suggests she tell him the truth - everything. Lauren lives in fear and anxiety - I can't do that to him. Paul instucts her to keep her wedding low profile (in case Sheila reads about it). Consider making hotel rewervations under an assumed name. Lauren is distressed to still be haunted by Sheila Carter. Paul offers a supportive hug. Lauren worries about burdening Mike - maybe the only way to keep him safe is to walk away from him.

I tried to be suave, Mike confides - gave her a Forrester original - it must have reminded her of that lunatic. Brad informs that Lauren and Eric Forrester still have a special bond. Eric Forrester was a victim too. She tried to kill her twice - Michigan and again in LA. Mike feels he can now protect Lauren from Sheila. He leaves a message for Eric Forrester.

You'd consider breaking it off with Micheal? This isn't the Lauren I know. Chris calls - if Sharon doesn't call back in a few minutes it's plan B - a search warrant.

Law n' Disorder
Nikki grumbles about having to return to the hospital to be checked out. She spots the security Vic has hired to protect Brit and the baby. Bobby greets Nikki and proclaims Johsua the most amazing baby. Brit's doing well. Nikki invites them out for dinner - a baby shower. We'll see, Bobby says warily - everything's changed. Angelo continues to hover. He apologizes again for her getting caugth in the middle - you're a true blue friend. I hope I find that again. Bobby lets her know he'll be disappearing after the trial - into the witness protection program.

Now dressed as a doctor, Angelo walks past Victor and eyes the guards.

Vikki arrives at memorial - to be there for her mother. She could have been killed. She's always loved me unconditionally - I've taken that for granted. I need my Mom. I wish I'd been a better daughter. Vic gives her a comforting hug. He thinks it a geat idea that she be the one to take her home. Vic thinks that a wonderful idea - she needs you now more than ever.

Nikki's sad to learn she won't be seeing Bobby again - and doesn't understand why (since Vinnie and the boys will be in jail). Brit has agreed to this? I guess she doesn't have a choice. Bobby's life won't be worth a nickle once. You're my inspiration - the classiest woman I've ever known. I'll miss you. Bobby hugs the sobbing Nikki. You and Brit will make it, Nikki assures - wherever you both are will be home. She finds his sacrifice to put them behind bars noble - I'm proud to have been your friend. I'll never forget you. They hug again: I'll miss you so much. Nikki goes in for her appointment, leaving Bobby to tear up. Bobby then spots Dr Angelo holding a baby. Their eyes meet. What are you doin'? Bobby asks.

GLORIA
Gloria admires flowers in a magazine. Very elaborate, John agrees. She'd love to order something like that and not have to worry about the cost. I'd like it be from us. Mike had to make his own way in the world. John thinks it a lovely gesture - go ahead and order all the flowers you like. Gloria hugs her most generous sweetest man. I don't have a checking account, Gloria points out.

When John reminds her they have a joint account, Gloria is hurt that he doesn't trust her. I want our marriage on solid ground. John doesn't feel seperate checking accounts are necessary - but with a sigh agrees to set up a seperate account. Gloria again hugs the best husband in the whole wide world. He doesn't want her to ever question his trust in her. He leaves for the office. Have a nice day. I love you.

Ash wants to give the necklace Tom gave her back to him. Tom didn't realive this is the reason she called and asked to meet him. He takes it back. Ash thinks it too lovely to sit at teh bottom of her jewellry box. Give it to yoru stepmother, he suggest - a peace offering.Ash is suspicious - why would you think of Gloria - why are you so interested in my father's wife? Tom feings ignorance - I don't kow her. Ash really wants him to take it back. If you're my friend you won't fight me. Tom agrees - but it's a simple necklace. Ash stops him and thanks him for understanding. I have to go - we'll talk soon. See you around. Once alone, Tom grips the necklace in his fist.

Gloria tells Tom she has the money so she has the power. Tomdisagrees - he's not leavign til he gets what he came for.Gloria hands over a was of cash. You're a thousand short. Gloria will send him a check. Tom plans to get a room at the club - on John's account. Gloria refues: forget it. Tom's next stop will be her OTHER husband's office - to introduce myself. Gloria doubts he'll risk losign the money. You're the one wiht somethig to lose here. He's off to the club to bok himsefl a room - when I get yoru check in a couple of days, I'll know we have a deal. Pleasure doing business wiht you Glo. ....

My Thoughts

Next: mike has a plan - Now I can do whatever's necessary to keep Sheila far way from Lauren ... Bobby's going into protective custody until after the trial - then he'll disappear (Nikki's not happy to hear it) ... Sharon looks uncomfortable as Nick hugs her from behind. Now it's just you and me - two people in love. If nick and sharon are hiding evidence they'll do it over my dead body....Sharon would take a trip to the city dump you as long as wer were together... Easy with the gun...Ang has himself a little bargaining power.
