At the club, Ash is battling 'morning sickness' as Jack reads the RS article of Kay - for the third time - he especially enjoyed the bit on Jill (the ungrateful shrew who had her mother arrested in an attempt to keep her inheritance - and now she has neither). He'd love a front row seat when she reads it. Get the popcorn Jackie - cause enter Jill (to join Cane at the bar). She'll have bourbon in HER soda. Nope she didn't get the job - but HAS added a name to the list of people who'll be sorry they crossed her. Cane reports he wasn't fired - but turned down a top level job at CI - and it's the best decision he's ever made.

Standing behind Chloe, a scowling Billy apologizes for his wife's behavior - seriously? Ripping into his ex instead of spending what could be her last day with Delia? Mac excuses Chloe - she must be on edge because of the hearing. Mac assures she's no threat to their marriage - but isn't going anywhere - so Chloe better just get used to it. What an annoying little 'prig', Chloe mutters - then worries about never being able to see Delia if Cane wins custody.

Both Karen and Tyra look puzzled when Neil insists on being heard. In the hallway, Anna paces impatiently - what's taking so long? Devon reassures - she has something he didn't have - a brother to look out for her no matter who she goes home with today. Back inside, Neil speaks of adopting Devon - he IS my son - he didn't think he could feel that way twice in a lifetime - no piece of paper could explain what Anna means to him - he went through a dark chapter in his life - but Anna's innocence and laughter gave him excitement for the future - he had purpose - and wants to be the father she deserves - which is why he's asking the Judge to please reconsider her decision - place Anna with the woman who's made Anna what she is today; Tyra Hamilton. Both Tyra and Karen cover their mouths - in shock for different reasons.

Karen now stands - he didn't mean that! Rafe, DO something, she hisses. The Judge questions Neil's sudden change of heart. Neil admits he hid things from his attorney - problems in their marriage. Karen quickly claims that's not true. Neil's sorry for his mistakes - but Tyra IS Anna's mother - they belong together. In 26 years, the Judge has never encountered such a dilemma - and leaves again to deliberate. It looks good, Tyra's lawyer whispers. What have you DONE? Karen spits at Neil.

Billy updates the nervous Chloe that Lily's going to appeal to Cane. You're as scared as I am, Chloe's somewhat relieved to see - and as she strokes his arm, Mac watches from the patio. Nothing's gonna happen to my girl, Billy tries to sound confident.

Jill scolds Cane - you're gonna tell the Judge you quit your job? In this economy? How will that look? Like a man of principal - Cane's just not into the backstabbing of the business world - and doesn't want to bring that stress home to his family. Jill won't accompany him to court - the press would pounce. Good luck. Jill then looks over at Ashley, and flashing back to her threat to Victor, marches on over with some news both Abbott's will find interesting. What's the catch? Ashley knows she went begging to Victor for a job - and makes it clear they won't be hiring her either. Jill denies she begged - and would be happy to fill Ashley in on the part of the conversation Victor left out.

Back at CL's, Chloe and Billy gush over Delia - then admire the picture Chloe takes with her phone. Yes - Billy's sure they'll be there for Delia's first words - and trip to the principal's office. But he looks less certain as he locks eyes with Mac. He takes Chloe's hand and kisses it - let's just enjoy the moment.

As Jill insists on being heard, Ash shifts uncomfortably - while Jack needles her that they'll be there to support Billy (unlike his mother). Jill won't be going to support Cane either - defends her son who's doing what he believes is right. Note she said son - not sons, Ash points out. Both disapprove of the way Jill's treated Billy - they have so much in common - neither of them has a real mother. Jill warns that she's most dangerous when she's down - and if Kay can rise from the dead, so can SHE. Whattsamatter Ashley? Satan's spawn giving you indigestion? Jill quips. That's it, Jack's taking Ashley home. Not before Jill tells them what she came to say. Neither Abbott care enough to stick around - here - have some light reading, Jack hands her his copy of RS.

In the courtroom hallway, Cane chats with Devon and Anna - and hears Tyra decided to petition for adoption last minute. Anna worries she upset Karen and Neil for hugging Tyra - they're both great - but she misses her Mom. Lily comes out to tell Anna it won't be much longer - and then asks for a word with Cane.

Inside, Karen knows Neil didn't plan to say anything - cause you thought getting Tyra a lawyer was enough to ruin our chances. She can't even stand the sight of him. The Judge returns to say she wishes Neil had come forward sooner - then grants sole custody to Tyra Hamilton. Tyra sobs - and as Karen sits - devastated - then runs out to tell Anna she's coming home with her - no one will ever take you away again - EVER. Looking beaten, Neil comes out - and walks past them hugging. Devon follows to say he's sorry - he didn't think Tyra stood a chance. Neil explains that he told the Judge that Anna belongs with Tyra - then heads back inside to get Karen. Finding the room empty, Neil sighs as he sees she's left her ring behind.

Lily tells Cane about what her father did - Karen's crushed. Why'd he do it? It was the right thing to do - Anna belongs with Tyra. It shouldn't have come to this - Anna felt like she was being ripped in half. Cane knows where Lily's going with this - but it won't be Delia taking the stand one day - it'll be over today. No - she'll be caught in the middle - you have a chance to make this right, Lily implores.

Meanwhile, Anna worries that she made Karen and Neil feel bad - then goes with Lily to the ladies room. Cane hovers as Tyra tells Devon that Neil put his marriage on the line for her and her little girl - Karen's not her favourite person but she wouldn't wish this on anyone. Neil returns home to find Karen hurriedly packing - with plans to get as far away from there as she can get.

Jill orders another 'high ball' - then flips through the magazine. At the club's front door, Jack's having the car brought around to take Ashley home - she should avoid people like Jill and Gloria - stress isn't good for the baby. Something's wrong - I need to see my doctor, Ashley's looks like she's sucked on a lemon.

In the courthouse hallway, Lily updates Cane that Mike's on his way. Cane feels he's so lucky to have her - you always know what I need, he praises with a kiss. The Abbott's arrive wheeling Delia in to meet Rafe. Cane then leads Chloe inside for a chat - listen to me one last time, he implores.

Karen folds clothes into her bags as she accuses Neil of ambushing her in court - surely he must have known it'd end this way - maybe he just wanted to be everybody's hero - never wanting to let anyone down - especially his mistress. Not a mistress? Then Karen hopes Tyra was a really good one night stand. You don't want to go, Neil says. Karen sure as hell doesn't want to stay - he's been pretending - too good a guy to admit he's been using her to get over his dead wife. Don't you say that! Neil shouts. You slept with that woman - then humiliated me! Karen shouts right back - it has nothing to do with Tyra or Anna - you want OUT! It was wrong from the very beginning - you just kept coming after me with promises. I believed every word you said! Karen now feels he was lying - and he's definitely NOT the 'good guy'.

When Jack brings Ashley home, he tells Estella that the doctor prescribed lots of rest. Estella suggests ginger tea - Sabrina said it helped. Yes Ma'am, she snips when Ashley insists water will be fine. When Ashley goes to lay down, Jack flips through a NE folder, Adam walks in - Dad? That you? Not quite JR, Jack replies - then explains he brought Ashley home - morning sickness - nothing dire. Adam sends him home - I can take care of her. Sure he's blind - but some things he can see more clearly now. Such as? Jack's future - you're headed for a fall, Adam warns - your own arrogance will bring you down. Jack chuckles - assuming the act's working on Victor - but it won't on him - Jack knows Adam - blindness hasn't changed his character - just given him another angle. Hope would never use her disability to manipulate anyone. Were you thinking of my mother when you set me up? Now there's the Adam Jack knows - angry and vindictive - dreaming of revenge while bumping into furniture? Find better ways to spend your time - whittle a walking stick - get Zapato to be your seeing eye dog. That's enough, Ashley comes down to snap - time for you to go!

On the patio, Mac flashes back to Billy's kiss - then talks to the waitress about clearing her head. Back at court, Billy chats with Lily - if it's gonna be fine, it's all thanks to her. Inside the court room, Chloe rants at Cane about Delia needing her mother. Cane knows - he can't think of putting Delia what Anna just went through. I'm dropping the suit. Chloe hugs him - thank you - thank you!

Karen's not rushing into anything - her leaving is long overdue - one thing she doesn't understand is why Neil gave her that hope - if he was only gonna rip it away. Neil denies he's some scam artist - you think I've been using you? I love you. Let go! Karen squirms - then let's go herself - with a smack to his face. Neil insists he loves her - I'm sorry. Karen cries as she pounds on his chest - I hate you! On cue, Tyra walks in with Devon and Anna - all wide eyed - as Karen crumples into sobs.

I mean it - scram - he's been through enough - Adam doesn't need you rubbing his nose in it. This is his home, Ashley scolds. You're buying into it? Jack scoffs - this is his prison - and he resents it - and you and Victor - he's a snake. Go check in on Billy, Ashley sends him off - then apologizes. Adam knows she's not responsible for Jack - any more than Victor's responsible for me - I don't resent my father. But Jack's right about one thing - I'm not worth much these days.

At the club, a reporter badgers Jill for comment on the RS article - is it true that you'll face fraud charges? Have you been lying all these years? Jill WILL give him a quote - in fact an exclusive - Katherine Chancellor's the read fraud. Having arrived, Mac watches with interest.

How does 'Aunt Lily' sound to you? Lily could get used to that. Billy wants her in Delia's life - he respects the perfect role model. Lily knows he cared - and thanks Billy for helping her get through a hard time in her life.

Cane will drop the petition - and Chloe's to have his name removed from Delia's birth certificate. But don't think he won't be keeping an eye on her. Chloe wants him there - you ARE part of the family. I've changed, she assures - I tricked you, she admits. You made me a Chancellor, Billy made me an Abbott - and Delia made me a Mom - that's the only name that matters now. Smiling, Cane believes her.

While Tyra thinks it a bad idea they came, Anna feels responsible for everyone being upset. I'm sorry. It's not your fault, Karen says - Yes, I have to leave. I'll miss you too, she gives Anna a kiss - then walks out. Karen, Neil says. Pausing for just a moment, Karen walks through the door - and to the tune of Bless the Beasts and The Children, leaves Neil looking devastated. Where do we go now? Anna asks in Tyra's arms (as she looks toward Neil). And while, back at the courthouse, Lily hugs Cane happily - while Billy and Chloe hug too. At home, Neil looks utterly despondent.

Next: So - does that mean marriage is back on the table? Cane smiles at Lily ... What are we supposed to DO? Phyllis shouts. You need to take Sharon out of the equation, Lauren replies ... Jana cups Kevin's face - did you hear anything I said? Amber, Kevin says as he looks directly into Jana's eyes.

My Thoughts: Huh? Cane doesn't want to bring stress home to his family? What family? What stress? He's never exhibited any signs of being stressed - in fact he shows no signs, other than wearing a suit, that he even has a job - and what does he think it'd be like raising an infant alone - if not stressful? ... Nice that Lily thinks her Dad did the right thing - clearly Tyra WAS one hell of a one night stand. And now - with his pesky wife of a few weeks gone, he can can make a whole new family .... Why is Ashley making a big deal about morning sickness - it sounded and looked like she was experiencing pain, not nausea - perhaps she should have undone her overly tight size 2 suit buttons over her size 4 belly? .... Why is Jill drinking in the middle of the day? And she talks about Kay and Nikki being a couple of lushes .... Note to Estella - I don't think Ashley wants to hear what helped Sabrina's upset tummy - or anything else about the former Mrs Newman ... How exactly would Adam 'take care' of Ashley - and as cruel as Jack was (if not comical) - why DOESN'T Adam have a cane or seeing eye dog yet? Didn't Victor vow to get him the best medical care possible? Why isn't he flying in all sorts of specialists to try and reverse Adam's condition? ....What exactly does the unemployed and homeless Jill plan to do to these people on her hit list? Panhandle outside their homes and places of business? Create a Bourbon shortage by drinking it all? But really - it's ludicrous to think she'd face fraud charges - she didn't rig the DNA test that 'proved' she was Kay's daughter .. Why does Karen keep claiming Neil got Tyra a lawyer? Is he paying for her? Seemed to me that he only passed along the name of someone Rafe recommended ... We shouldn't have come here, Tyra says as she prances into Karen's home - Gee - ya think? She wasn't welcome after Karen learned she'd had sex with Neil - why would Tyra think she was any more welcome after winning custody. I'm sure Neil could have packed up Anna's things. But now - with an empty - and Karen free apartment, will it be long before he invites Tyra to just move on in? ... Ohhhh - Cane's gonna keep an eye on Chloe raising Delia? He didn't have a case now - and will have even less of one as time goes by - especially since his name's being erased from the birth certificate ... Ashley sure got in to see a doctor in record time - who knew that morning sickness was such an emergency.
