On the CL's patio (with Kay and Chloe), Chance comments that the place hasn't changed at all - it's like being in a time warp. Introduced to Kevin, Chance tells him that he was given an honourable discharge - the military can recall him within the next two years. But, for now, Chance is glad to be with family - the people he loves. When Philip saunters out on cue, Chance silently sizes him up.

Visiting Daniel in jail, Jana updates that Mike sent forensics over to his place to check for prints. Poor Daniel - the only thing he has going for him is Amber - what WOULD I do without her in my life.

Deacon gives Amber a reminder call - tick tock. One night with me and your man goes free - or, Daniel spends the rest of his days behind bars. Ladies choice.

While Neil's upset that Lily did a reckless thing by running out, Liv understands why she bolted. But - they DO need to find out if the cancer's spread asap. Where are you Lily? Neil wonders aloud.

As Cane and Lily hug at Jimmy's, Billy calls Mac - meet me at the trailer. With one last glance at the weepy Ashby's, Billy leaves Lily to whine to Cane about harvesting her eggs before surgery. She can't risk never having children ~hug~

Billy comes to the trailer with his tail between his legs - the reason for his change of heart? Seeing Cane with Lily made him realize what an ass he's been. He's waited 6 years for Mac - why waste more? As their lame karaoke plays on, he's also brought over Mac's scrapbook. Perching the Prom Queen tiara on Mac's head, he pulls her up to relive the dance that was the greatest memory of his life.

Still at Jimmy's, Lily expresses how much it means to her to have a big family - if that dream disappears it's like her Mom will too. Cane understands what it'd mean to see Dru in her children - but she needs to have the surgery. You can't afford to take the risk.

Jana agrees - Amber's one of a kind - she puts her whole self into everything. Daniel confides she wants a commitment he wasn't ready for - and swearing Jana to secrecy, admits he really loves Amber - and as soon as he gets out of there, will ask her to marry him.

Arriving at CL's, Amber talks about couples supporting one another no matter what. Kevin doesn't know what she's up to - but don't do it. But what if Amber could get Daniel out of jail? And it's the only way? What would the chipmunk say? Kevin's the voice of reason - if it's something Daniel can't forgive you for - would it be worth it?

Back on the patio, Chloe invites Philip to join them. He'd actually like to talk to Chance (whom he assumes has a million questions for him). Nope - not really. When Philip pushes to give his side of the story, Chance is blunt but polite - I don't have any questions, Sir. Taking Philip inside, Kay orders him to give Chance some space - what he's done to the family is unforgivable. Turning on her heel, Kay rejoins Chance and Chloe just long enough to say good bye - leaving Chloe to 'entertain' Chance. Philip mosey's back out - he's been told to back off. We can talk whenever you're ready. Chance doesn't see anything to talk about - you died when I was a baby - you have no bearing on my life. Nothing's changed because you've risen from the grave. Getting the hint, Philip retreats. As Chance wants to talk about something else, Chloe offers to give him the scoop - who does he want to know about first? You, Chance smiles.

Having consulted with her fellow doctor's, Liv confirms it's too risky for Lily to wait for surgery. Thanking Kay for coming, Neil updates that Lily skipped out - the odds are stacking up against her with every passing second.

Cane DOES understand Lily's point - more than anybody else - having no family, his 'legacy' would end with him if he had no kids. But would Dru want Lily to sacrifice herself to have a biological child? None of it will matter if she doesn't make it. Lily wouldn't 'mind' having a child that isn't biologically her - like Tyra/Anna, her and Neil. But there's something Cane doesn't know - when first coming to the hospital, she thought she was pregnant.

Back at the trailer, Billy and Mac have a great time reminiscing over the scrapbook (that Billy bribed a maid to swipe). Over Mac's protest, Billy insists on reading her embarrassing private journal entries - and adds some of his own. Get over here, Mac turns him around to kiss the back of his neck - you still have that freckle ~kiss~

Chloe tells Chance that Delia was a surprise to both her and Billy - they had a few twists and turns along the way and aren't together now - Billy's a great father but lousy husband. She bets he'll give up on Mac and come crawling back. Thinking her pretty - no, beautiful, Chance wonders why she'd take seconds. He can't really relate - as he's never had a girlfriend.

Lily explains the false/positive - yes, it's why she invited him over the other day. Cane now realizes being thankful she wasn't pregnant was the wrong thing to say. You'll make a wonderful mother - but have to save yourself first. Lily all but begs him to take her to Chicago to find a doctor who'll harvest her eggs. Cane wants her to fight (and beat) this - he couldn't live in a world without Lily in it. Please - let me take you back to the hospital.

Amber visits Daniel to reports she's 'still working on it'. While Daniel has every confidence that Mike 'the magician' will get them out of yet another jam, Amber worries they might have to do something drastic. Like busting me out? Daniel doesn't want her to get into trouble. Amber worries he'll be convicted. Think happy thoughts - our future, Daniel confides he's ready to be with her - forever. Amber declares her undying love - everything I do is for you - you know that, right?

In his suite, Deacon tips the waiter who's delivered an elaborate dinner cart (complete with champagne). Deacon's expecting a very special guest tonight - if there's such a thing as a soul mate, Amber's his.

Ending a call with Devon, Neil updates Liv and Kay that he just missed Lily at Jimmy's. As Liv worries they'll have to reschedule surgery for next week, Lily walks in to face Neil's scolding. Lily needed time to think - to make this decision without anyone pressuring her. When Lily agrees to surgery, Liv races off to tell DR Berber. As Lily hugs Neil, Cane's outside sighing.

Still reminiscing, Mac and Billy discuss what a great singer JT was back in the day. After exchanging 'I love you's', it's time to make new memories. Both turns their cell phones off - after waiting 6 long years, Billy sure doesn't want any interruptions ~kiss~

You've never had a girlfriend? Chloe can't believe her ears - wow. No meaningless hook ups either? A virgin?! Yup. Religious? Gay? No - it just didn't happen. Not willing to pay for sex, Chance can wait for the right woman to come along. Still blown away, Chloe's never met a real live grown up virgin before - a really hot guy virgin.

When Neil asks Cane if he convinced Lily to have the surgery, Cane won't take any credit - he was just a sounding board. Liv thanks Cane - we couldn't have done it without you. Liv chides Neil for being 'a bit hard' on Cane. Lily's wheeled by on a gurney - looking even sadder when Neil tells her Cane's gone. Yes - Liv will stay with her. Father and daughter exchange 'I love you's' as Lily's wheeled off to surgery.

Kevin tells Jana that Amber was 'twitchy' and talking about making all of Daniel's troubles go away. When Kevin stops her from calling Amber, Jana just hopes whatever she's planning doesn't blow up in her face.

Outside his door, Amber flashes back to Deacon's threat/deal - and pounds on the door. Let's get this over with, she spits as she marches in. Slow down Seabiscuit, Deacon plans to savour every moment of this. He hands over some lingerie - put em on. We do this MY way or your boyfriend's gonna be the new sweetheart of Cell block C. Hardly looking 'in the mood', Amber snatches the lingerie from his hand and stomps off.

Back in virgin-land, Chloe's encouraged to talk about Delia - but would rather get back to Chance's sex life (or lack thereof). Yes, he's been kissed - and likes it. Maybe you haven't been kissed right, Chloe suggests - then plants one on him. Ever been kissed like that? As a lipstick coated Chance stammers, Chloe's smug - yeah, didn't think so. Meanwhile, Billy and Mac are finally getting down to business at the trailer.

Deacon makes a call - claiming it's Michael Baldwin, he needs to speak to his client. He then puts the receiver in a glass beside the bed - damn girl - let me take a look at you. Amber reluctantly spins - and scowls as Deacon kisses her. Tell me you didn't miss that, he kisses her down onto the bed. When Daniel picks up the phone, he's stunned to hear some kissing noises - then Deacon promising the worried Amber that Daniel will never hear about this from him - followed by heavy breathing, as Deacon gets to work.

Cane joins Philip at Jimmy's - oh look, we're in a bar - we've come full circle. Cane isn't going back to Australia - but there's nothing for him in GC either. Kay comes in to thank Cane for saving Lily's life - you're a good man. When Kay apologizes, Cane doesn't think it necessary - he deserves what he got. Bottom line - Kay hopes he'll change his mind and stay in GC - please.

Looking disheveled and depressed, Liv comes out to update a worried Neil. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to conclude the worst - the cancer's spread. We had to remove everything, Liv nods - then weeps in Neil's arms.

Next: Amber wears her crying face as Daniel shouts at her - I'm sitting here in jail thinking I want to marry you as soon as I get out - and you're out there banging some guy you just met! ... Chloe hovers as Chance calls Philip - it's your son, Chance - can we get together? ... It's not true, Lily weeps. It's good news, Neil consoles - a tiny miracle.

My Thoughts: Don't think you can charm your way out of this one, Mac scowls as she lets Billy into HIS own place. What did Billy do wrong? Wasn't he justified in being upset that Mac took it upon herself to let Cane (whom Billy didn't like when he was his brother - never mind after learning he's a 'con artist') - stay in HIS trailer? .... Mac's not at all pissed off that the estate's staff can be bribed to hand over her personal scrapbook/journal? What did Billy bribe the maid with - did money actually change hands? If he ups the ante, can Billy get his hands on Mac's panties? Maybe Kay needs to give her housekeeping staff a raise .... Ryan is 'the only father' Chance has ever known? He can't have played Daddy to Chance for very long - he was with Vikki (actually about to marry her) when he was killed at such a young age - Chance would have been very young ... Lily wanted to make this decision on her own? Without anyone pressuring her? Unless it's Cane who's the one making her decisions and pressuring her of course .... .. Looking at an old picture of Billy, Mac wonders how his pants stayed up? Please - we all know the ridiculously low pants style wasn't around when Mac and Billy were in high school. It's more likely Billy was sporting an equally ridiculous pair of acid washed jeans or maybe some tight, sprayed on white Levis ..... If Billy's so eager to consummate his relationship with Mac - whom he's already waited 6 long years for, why are they wasting time on some stupid scrapbook anyway? ... Oh Neil - put your pouty face away - it's only a matter of time before you're kissing Cane's ozzy @ss again. If Kay's forgiven him, the rest of the lemmings won't be far behind ... Really Deacon - you're going to 'savour every moment of this' - of what? All but raping a reluctant, hostile - or, at best, a completely 'dead' partner in bed? Wouldn't it be cheaper and more fun to just rent a hooker? At least she'd fake enthusiasm. That purple lingerie does absolutely nothing for Amber's usually svelte figure. In fact, it makes her look like a lumpy eggplant ... Chance - a virgin? Who knew? But more importantly - who needs to know? Why is Chance even discussing his sex life (or lack thereof) with a virtual stranger? He's done nothing but put a big target down his pants. Most mothers would relish the opportunity to talk about their baby (and go on way longer than anyone really wants to hear) - but not Chloe - not when there's sex to talk about - or a Chancellor man to bag. Are you gay? Chloe asks all wide eyed. For a split second, I feared he'd say 'Yes' (which wouldn't be good news for anyone except Rafe - who doesn't have so much of a dating pool as he does a wading pool). If Chance was gay - and openly admitting it, it's doubtful he'd be a virgin ... How out of place does Kay the billionairess look walking into Jimmy's? Yet nobody turns a head as the richest woman in town moseys in dripping in jewels .... Oh great - Mike sent forensics over to Daniel's to check for finger prints. I'm guessing they'll find the prints of about a dozen federal agents. Anyone able to hide a forged painting behind a wall - and patch it up well enough for it to be undetected, is NOT gonna be stupid enough to leave prints behind.
