Mac and Billy are blissfully happy to awaken in one another's arms. Took us a long time to get here - but worth every crazy second.

In Deacon's bed, he wakes up declaring that it was worth waiting for - but Amber isn't exactly bathing in the afterglow - sun's up - the night's over, she leaps out of bed. He notices she changed her tattoo - it no longer matches the one he has in the same spot. You gonna pretend it wasn't good? he scoffs. Dressing in a hurry, Amber just wants the CD that'll clear Daniel. Deacon pulls her onto the bed - you loved it - and I'm not the only one. Huh? Amber's then horrified to see the phone off the hook - you did it again!? she wails. You called Daniel!? Son of a bitch, she slams out. You forgot your DVD, Devon's left to mutter.

Behind bars, Daniel can't get the sounds of Deacon and Amber's romp out of his head.

At the estate, Chance perches Delia on his knee as Ester, Kay and Murphy fuss over her. Jill comes along to take a shot at Chloe - where's Mommy - out shopping again? When Chloe and Nina come down to join the group, Jill jabs again - wondering if they're comparing notes on getting pregnant to snag a rich husband. SHE could give a seminar, Nina quips. There to celebrate Chloe's birthday lunch, Nina smiles at Delia on Chance's knee - flashing back to when HE was a young child (on Philip's knee). You'll make a wonderful father, Kay comments to Chance. I used to think the same of Philip, Nina murmurs to herself.

At Jimmy's, Philip encourages Cane to go to the hospital (as Lily's having surgery). Cane still plans to leave - after he knows Lily's OK. Philip too - though Cane doesn't see how he can turn his back on his family like this. I pretended - you actually DO belong. Philip seems to mull it over. Meanwhile, Lily awakens to find a teary eyed Neil at her bedside. Hi, she whispers weakly.

Chloe insists her birthday is just another day - she won't be making a big deal of it. Chance thinks birthday's are like victories - an act of defiance. Chloe agrees - she took some punches this year (and is still standing). Chance takes Delia away - birthday girls don't change diapers. Chivalry is not dead, Chloe raves to Ester about what a great (and responsible) guy Chance is. When Ester thinks Mac's the same, Chloe gets an idea - setting Mac up with Chance - they can save the world - and I'll save my marriage.

Back at the trailer, Billy and Mac kiss happily in one another's arms. They really should tell Chloe - she's still hoping for a reconciliation. Not on her birthday - but soon. Mac takes a call from Chloe and is surprised to be invited over for her birthday lunch. Mac reluctantly agrees - then updates Billy (who knows Chloe's up to something) - but who cares as long as they're together.

With Neil too upset to answer Lily's questions, DR Berber arrives to explain that the cancer had spread - he had to remove her fallopian tubes and uterus. Lily's devastated - Dad. Neil can only nod when the doctor asks if they need some time. Now alone, Neil consoles the weepy Lily - there's good news - they saved her eggs - a tiny miracle. Lily, however, is inconsolable - wake me up, she pleads.

At the estate, Chloe tries to convince the surprised Kay and Murphy that she and Mac have really been hitting it off - and so, was invited over. When Chance returns, Chloe wastes no time campaigning for Mac - listing what they have in common. Regarding Philip, Chance has no interest in making an effort with the father who never made an effort with HIM.

When Nina joins Philip at CL's, he's on the phone making plans to leave - he's got responsibilities in Sydney. He understands he has no right to expect anything from them - but what a wonderful job she did with their son. He hasn't earned the right to be proud - but is impressed. Nina doesn't think Chance WILL contact Philip if he walks out on him again. But Philip's going back to his life as Philip Langley. When the cinnamon roll, Philip pre-ordered arrives, Nina's touched her remembered it's her favourite - you can call yourself Bugs Bunny - but you're still Philip Chancellor. You can be more - a father.

Jill finds Cane at Jimmy's - how's Lily? she asks. Cane isn't sure how surgery went - and wonders what Jill's doing there. Jill knows his feeling's for Lily are genuine.

Daniel isn't happy to find his visitor is Amber. Guard - take me back to my cell! he barks. Please - let me explain, Amber begs.

In the hallway, Neil tells Devon and Tyra that Lily was too upset to hear the details of her surgery. And while he goes off to ask 'many' questions of DR Berber, Devon worries about Neil - he thinks he might lose Lily like he did Dru. Tyra encourages him to have faith ~hug~

Nina and Philip debate whether Chance needs a father in his life. Nina thinks they ARE very much alike - don't tell me you have nothing to offer him. Don't go - for Chance's sake. He can handle you being gay. You just may need this more than he does.

As Chance shows the gang photos he took in Iraq, Mac arrives. Chloe wastes no time dragging her over - and with no subtly at all, throws them together (then hustles everyone else out to get food). Mac chuckles - apparently it's a blind date. With Mac 'seeing' someone and Chance ' interested in someone else' - they decide there's no need to spoil Chloe's fun. Eavesdropping on their animated conversation, Chloe's delighted to see her plan's working.

He forced me! Amber wails. Funny - cause Daniel didn't hear her screaming for help. Here he is in jail and she's out there 'banging' a guy she barely knows! Oh - you DO know him, Daniel realizes - how long has this been going on? I did this for YOU, Amber insists.

Deacon has evidence to prove you're innocent! Amber explains - he hid the forgery and called the cops! Daniel wants details on how she knows him - must have been pretty intense. It was over! That's HIS problem. HE doesn't HAVE a problem, Daniel shouts - he got you - and I'm in jail. You SOLD yourself to him!

Back at the estate, Chance is entertaining all with the story of his pal proposing - he's gonna be his best man. Got a date yet? Chloe chimes in. Billy arrives with the gift of a stuffed seal (remember that fun weekend?). Mac and Chance are really hitting it off, Chloe confides. As Billy goes over to take Delia from Mac, Nina returns asking to speak to Chance for a minute (much to Chloe's chagrin). In the dining room, Nina updates that Philip's thinking of returning to Australia. Don't miss this opportunity to know him - you might be surprised - he's funny, warm - kind hearted. Try not to judge him too harshly, Nina implores.

Devon assures Lily that she's not alone - I'm right here. Tell me what you need - anything. 'Cane', Lily weakly whispers. Meanwhile, still at Jimmy's, Jill knows Cane was the one who talked Lily into having the surgery - and knows he won't take advantage of the situation. Jill knows he's a good man who lives his wife - and family. Now, let's go find out what's happening with Lily. Thank you, Cane stands too.

Amber cries - what was I supposed to do? Let you rot in jail? Do you have this evidence? Daniel shouts - No? Didn't think so. Amber will do whatever she has to do to get it. Daniel thinks she's proven THAT already. Stop being so mean - I did this for YOU! Amber repeats - adding that she thought he'd never have to know. Perfect, Daniel sneers - get outta my sight.

Back in his suite, Deacon puts the CD in an envelope - and flashing back to his night with Amber, tells himself 'she'll be back' as he seals it.

Back at the estate, Billy updates Chloe on Cane and Lily. And as Mac looks over with a sly smile, Chloe looks unsettled. As Kay and Ester come out with a birthday cake, Jill returns with her guest - Cane. Though Billy thinks it a bad idea, Jill says he'll have to deal with her supporting Cane. Kay puts a hand up to block Billy then slowly making her way over to Cane, says she's so glad ~hug~ Looking on, Billy and Nina look ill).

At GCM, the devastated Neil all but ignores Tyra as he goes to check on Lily. Asking Devon, Tyra's told that Lily's in and out of it - doesn't know what she's saying. She wants Cane. Tyra feels that sure, he's a liar and con man, but Lily needs the man she loves.

Beside Lily's bed, Neil knows Dru's out there - somewhere - just like you were the day Lily got married - where are you now? Tyra slips in to hear the teary Neil lament the fact that he can't do a damn thing to make it better. Tyra's enter Lily's room when she hears Neil cry out for Dru - I need you now. I can't do this on my own. Oh God - I can't do it without you. Tyra looks devastated, then slips back out as Neil weeps - please, help me, he leans his head on Lily's bed.

Amber's so sorry - but she didn't have a choice. Daniel wishes she'd been honest - lying is what she'll always choose to do. No! You don't understand! Amber cries - but even if Daniel never forgives her, know she'd rather lose him forever than see him stay in prison. I guess you got your wish! Daniel snaps (then has the guard let him out).

Cane asks Kay to call Neil for an update - then insists he'll go. Murphy just hopes he and Billy will keep things calm (for Kay's sake). Aside, Billy rants to Mac about Cane having no right to be there. Since Mac has to leave, Billy promises not to make a scene. As Mac says her good byes, Chloe makes a last ditch effort - talking about her volunteering at the homeless shelter. Chance sets her straight - whatever she thinks is happening here, isn't. He then excuses himself to call his father - it's me, your son, Chance - can we get together? Absolutely, Philip agrees to meet him at CL's, noon tomorrow. Philip then makes a call - to cancel his flight.

Chance tells Chloe he made the call for his Mom - she still loves the guy. When Cane wishes Chloe a happy birthday, she thinks he should go now. Cane then gets a call from Devon (who gives him the OK to come see Lily). Cane updates Kay and Jill before leaving Kay to thank Jill for whatever she said to Cane. On his way out, Cane's accosted by Billy - who assures that no way in hell will he let him back into this family.

Next: I've been so alone, MJ tells Mac (who assures, with a smile, that she's not alone anymore - you have me) ... I do NOT want to be disturbed, Victor says as he stares out his office window. Too bad - cause this is pretty damn disturbing, Jack says as he drops the doll on the desk ... At CL's, Phyllis tackles a woman who likes like MJ from the back - you little bitch! Let GO of me! the woman turns around to defend herself.

My Thoughts: Sorry - no time today. I'm sitting poolside at a family birthday party..... splash!!!!!
