Nick finds Phyllis flipping through the latest issue of RS (which includes photos of their 'Little Princess'). Over coffee, he reports that Sharon's out on bail. But she's not his problem anymore - let Jack handle it. Phyllis and Summer are his number one priority (this week). Sharon always lands on her feet - someone else can look after her.

Like she hasn't a care in the world, Sharon orders a hearty breakfast - while Jack sticks to coffee. Yes - Jack's surprised at how well she's handling being arrested for grand larceny. Sharon must be strong for the baby - if people wanna stare, let em - wasn't he the one who once told her to hold her head high? Of course Jack remembers - it was their anniversary. Sharon's sorry she wasn't a very good wife. Jack admits he wasn't the world's greatest husband - maybe he's making up for it now by standing by her. He doesn't look convinced when Sharon assures that she'll be cleared of the charges.

Heather isn't too happy about meeting Rafe on the CL's patio (as opposed to her office). Rafe wanted to get out - coffee? Heather's unfriendly manner turns to downright anger. 'Save it' - Sharon's guilty as sin - and NOT getting away with it this time.

Inside CL's, Paul hands JT the most recent photo he has of his sister Patty (who might not look like that any longer). Pretty, JT comments - as Paul relays that father Todd thinks she's here and in trouble. Neither Mary nor Steve has heard from her in ages. Patty's described as a sensitive soul - easily taken advantage of - bad guys chew her up and spit her out.

At the ranch, Abby couldn't be more proud of her RS cover (the best one yet) Isn't it an awesome dress? While Victor thinks it a bit short, a distracted Ashley can barely muster interest. Prattling on, the self absorbed Abby even wishes Adam could see how cute she looks. He'll take her word for it. Victor takes a call - you don't recognize my voice? It's your partner in crime. Where is she? Someplace safe. Victor's sorry how things went down - she's HIS responsibility. How can Victor make things up to her? MJ's in a financial bind - the money he gave her? Gone. Victor wants to get together - to help. MJ needs a million. You blackmailing me? No - it's the reward for her capture. You put a bounty on my head like a criminal - not how you treat a friend. Giving up on wooing MJ, Victor wants to make her pay for every mistake she's made in GC.

That's insulting! Rafe balks at Heather's deal. Not in the mood to bargain, Heather reminds that Sharon's a repeat offender - take it or leave it. Never mind that the previous charges were dropped. Rafe feels like she's taking it personally. You're the one who slept with a client, Heather reminds. No - it's not about Adam. Rafe doesn't want to be enemies - he did NOT go after her boyfriend. He doesn't want to make the situation worse, but he'll go to the DA if she can't handle it in a responsible manner. You engaged in sexual relations with a client! Heather repeats. Arms folded, Paul interrupts - what's going on? After Rafe leaves, Heather disintegrates in Paul's arms - I really loved Adam, she cries.

Squinting into his laptop, Adam mutters about the annoying Abby - and griping about being unable to hear Victor's call, will settle for listening in on Abby and Ashley. Downstairs, Abby's thinking of throwing a pool party - to celebrate her first (of many?) cover. Still distracted, Ashley claims she's fine. But could she straighten that wall hanging? Abby notices something weird - looks like a spy cam. Upstairs, Adam wears an 'uh oh' expression.

Mary Jane thinks Victor's threats meaningless - she has Jack back. Victor chuckles - he doesn't seem worried about MJ 'ratting him out' - she better run like hell and don't look back. MJ boasts of having a contact in his house - that's how close she got. She laughs at the notion of him doing a background check on the staff - but then hides behind the bar when JT lets himself in (to install the security system). Flashing back to JT catching her on the grounds, MJ looks worried as she crouches out of sight.

Victor comes in to hear all about the spy cam. He inspects the wall hanging. Someone's been watching our every move, Ashley frets - but who? Victor suspects a business competitor - and promises to get to the bottom of it. Adam comes along - what's going on? Everyone OK?

Still at the tacky house, Nick and Phyllis briefly discuss Noah - before Summer comes bouncing in. Pancakes. Both gush praise when Summer recognizes Abby on the cover - and who's this? No - it's not a baby - it's you, Summer. Nick and Phyllis look unsettled at Summer's behavior. Phyllis will always be grateful for her magical girl - and hugging her, wonders aloud why Sharon would risk having HER baby taken away.

Sharon's sure the jeweler will drop the charges when he hears the whole story. Jack's not so sure - Victor only dropped the charges because she's family. Sharon was having blackouts when she stole before - she was a 'mess'. This is nothing like that. Perhaps HE can talk to the jeweler on her behalf. Jack only wishes he was as sure as she is. Rafe joins them to report the DA's office made an offer - no jail time - no trial - on the condition that Sharon voluntarily commit herself to a psychiatric facility. Both look at Rafe like HE'S the one who needs to be committed.

Now moved to a sofa, Rafe explains the voluntary commitment would be for 30 days. Sharon and Jack think it absurd. Rafe reminds she's admitted to black outs. There's eye witnesses - surveillance tape. As Newman's former spokesperson, and being married into two prominent families, she's recognizable. The public has no sympathy for rich people who steal. He needs an answer by 2pm. Her baby would need to be in it's father's care - or the state would interfere. Rafe admits she COULD be held longer than 30 days (but doubts that would happen). it's a class G felony - 25,000 in fines and 10 years in prison. He shows them a large photo of the impressive ring - no jury will believe you didn't realize you had THIS ring on your finger. Jack asks to see the photo - and while Sharon squirms uncomfortably, he flashes back to seeing the same ring on Phyllis' finger.

With Summer upstairs with the specialist, it doesn't take long for Phyllis to again drop the S-word. Nick knows Jack's helping Sharon - who knows? Maybe they'll get back together after the baby's born. But Jack might have to raise the baby alone if Sharon goes to jail. Can you imagine? Oh yeah - Nick can (cause Phyllis went to prison). When Nick doubts Sharon will go to jail, Phyllis is just glad he's not getting sucked in. Nick then tells Phyllis something she should know. The ring Sharon stole is identical to HER wedding ring. Phyllis remembers telling Sharon which jeweler it came from. Oh my God - this is NOT happening again. Why doesn't it stop? Sharon's feelings for you haven't diminished, she realizes - are they EVER going to?

On the patio, Paul ends a call with Todd as Heather returns (apologizing for crying). Paul reassures - does she want to talk about the 'ugly' situation? Heather feels like curling up in her bed - she feels like an idiot. How can she be so smart in her career and so stupid in her love life. Why didn't she see the real Adam - like everyone else? Because you loved him, Paul knows what it's like to lose someone you love - hurts like hell.

Adam couldn't be more surprised - a spy cam? You're joking! Ashley blames Estella - she has to stop torturing our family. Victor suggests they move to the club while the house is being swept for bugs. Ashley objects to leaving Adam by himself - but doesn't want the police called either. Estella has Rafe in the public defender's office - what if she has friends on the force? Victor will have security sweep the house. No - they need to protect the grounds. Ashley's given the OK to call the one person she trusts - JT. Hearing there's a security emergency - and that Victor agrees it must remain in the family, JT will be right there. As JT replaces a ladder in the back, MJ jots down a note and puts it in his jacket before slipping out the front door. Meanwhile, Adam looks worried when Victor promises Ashley that if there's more bugs, JT will find them.

In the master bedroom, JT updates the crowd that nothing was found there or in Abby's room. Victor wonders how long the cameras have been there. The signal can't be traced - anyone can pick it up over the Internet. JT then finds a camera pointed at the bed. I'll be damned, Victor mutters. Still think it's corporate espionage? Ashley runs off to puke. A camera aimed at her parents bed? A repulsed Abby thinks that 'nasty'. This isn't corporate, JT determines - does Victor know who's doing this?

Victor and JT arrive at Adam's room - they've found cameras and mike's all over the place - and now want to check Adam's room. Adam snipes that JT should have swept his room the last time he and Vikki were snooping in it. He doesn't leave the room - and doesn't know any corporate secrets - why would anyone want to bug him? You're not suggesting I had anything to do with this, the blind guy hopes. Bingo! JT finds a camera Adam's just planted in a book case. What!? MY room's bugged too? Adam makes a great show of being outraged. Maybe Estella has a friend on the staff?

Holding Paul's hand, Heather mopes about the fool she's been - planning a future with Adam. Paul understands - her dreams were crushed. But you'll get over it. Heather knows she'll survive - but how can she trust her instincts again? Adam was using her to cover his sexual orientation - and using her position in the DA's office. Did he ever ask her to look the other way? Yeah - at the airport when he was arrested - and for medical dispensation. God - she feels like an idiot. To top it off, she has to meet Rafe - the man who slept with her boyfriend.

Rafe ends his meeting with the Abbott's - reassuring Sharon that she'll have her life back in a month - they won't have reason to hold her longer. Call when she's made her decision - but hurry. Jack encourages Sharon to take the offer - why risk 10 years in prison? He recognizes the ring as the one Phyllis was wearing - it's what set her off. No, Jack doesn't think Sharon's crazy - her secret's eating away at her. The 30 days could be the break she needs - a blessing in disguise.

Phyllis continues to fret over Sharon's interference in their lives - despite Nick recommitting to her. It just won't end. Phyllis refuses to be 'that person' again - she won't be jealous or anxious. Nick sees no need for her to be. This ring is a symbol of OUR love - not a symbol of Sharon's obsession. We're 'solid'. Sharon will get help and Jack's gonna be there for her - he's the father of her child.

Jack pressures Sharon to make a decision - before it's made for her. The weepy Sharon can't decide. Jack advises her to think of her family. How Noah will feel if her name's in the newspapers again. If she goes to trial and it doesn't go as she hopes, he'll look after the baby. Nick's baby in Jack's home - without her mother. HE can live with that - but can SHE? Left to think alone, Sharon picks up her phone.

And as Phyllis continues to feel bad for Sharon's baby, Nick gets a call. Sharon needs to see him - there's something he needs to know about.

Adam's ever so impressed with how clever he is - until he gets a knock on the door. It's Rafe. Victor called him to interrogate him about Estella. Ashley's 'freaked'. Adam will call him when things settle down. Rafe assumes he told Heather about them - 'coming out' to her's a big step. He wants to help Adam.

Still on the patio, Heather wants top talk about something else. Has he heard from Nikki? Paul's the one who should be consoled. He's staying busy trying to find MJ. Plus, Patty's back in town. Heather would love to meet her. Coincidentally, MJ arrives to listen as Heather talks of getting to know his sister - quietly weeping as Paul offers to do what he can to make that happen.

JT comes down with a box of the gadgets he's found so far - but would like a team to do a more expansive sweep. Ashley's sure Estella's behind it. As Victor walks JT out, he suggests a connection between Estella and Mary Jane - he doesn't know why she'd target Victor and his family. Ashley doesn't want strangers in the house - THAT'S why you're here, Victor clarifies - and to find Mary Jane Benson. As JT's walks off to call in a team, he finds a note in his pocket that reads - 'You want to know about Mary Jane? Ask Victor - he knows everything'. JT turns a suspicious eye at Victor (as he's busy reassuring the worried Ashley that he'll make the house secure).

Next: With Colleen, JT hands Mac a photo - that's Mary Jane Benson - the nut job who hurt Summer. Horrified, Mac's hand flies to her mouth - she's here. In the back room .... Neil asks the guilty looking Devon if he cheated on Roxy ... An agitated Adam tells Rafe that he really has to just let this thing go. You're playing games with me, Rafe accuses.

My Thoughts: Why is Phyllis getting her and Nick's morning coffee from the 'main house'? Free room and board isn't enough? Victor's now responsible for their caffeine fix? .... Abby's so self absorbed that she even wishes ADAM (the guy she finds 'creepy') could see how cute she looks? And she wants to celebrate her 'first' cover? Is she really expecting more? Even Lily can't get any modeling gigs - and SHE was a fresh Face of Jabot don'tcha know ... I see now why Abby's the way she is. 16 years of hearing 'Yes, honey - whatever you want' = one spoiled brat. Nice parenting skills Ashley. NOW Abby thinks of throwing a celebration party? She knew when the cover was coming out - and could have had the party already planned ... Sharon thinks that once the jeweler hears the 'whole story' he'll drop the charges? Didn't he already hear her whole story? When he served her water while waiting for the cops to show up? ... Why would the DA's offer expire in a couple of hours? Is this Deal or No Deal? ... Why would Ashley think a housekeeper would have friends on the police force? One's who'd be willing to conspire with her? Wasn't Estella replaced by MJ as #1 suspect? ... NOW Heather would rather take meetings at her office? She never minded discussing sensitive cases at a public coffee shop before ... Why isn't Rafe at all worried about Heather tattling that he had sexual relations with a client? An incarcerated client at that ... Sure Victor - business competitor's often break into one another's homes to plant surveillance devices - including the master bedroom. If that were the case, wouldn't it make more sense to bug his office? LOL! Abby declaring surveillance of Victor and Ashley's marital bed 'nasty'. Good thing Victor's been exiled from it for weeks now ... Sorry today's spoiler is late - but I was playing a drinking game - and had to take a shot every time Phyllis said the name Sharon - and then I passed out ...Sharon always lands on her feet? Doesn't Nick mean her back? ...... How exactly does MJ think she has Jack 'back in her life'? She's sleeping in the storage room of a dive bar and scrounging leftovers from dumpsters ... Should JT really be installing a security system alone? In the dark? Shouldn't he, at least, have someone to hold the ladder? And does Mac know he's left her bar unprotected - dropping everything to race over to the ranch? Why is Jimmy's bar closed so early anyway? ... Why isn't JT remotely concerned with HOW and WHEN the note got into his pocket. You'd think a PI would wonder how it got there - between leaving home and going to Jimmy's. How did he check the entire ranch so quickly? ... How convenient that Adam just so happened to have an extra camera to pop into his bookcase? JT can't tell that it's not hooked up to anything? ... Even given Sharon's situation, I doubt 30 days in a psychiatric hospital could ever be viewed as a 'break' or a 'blessing in disguise' ... One can't blame Phyllis for being concerned. The Newman's marriage is 'solid' in the same way that Jello's solid - it's wobbly and easily un-solidified ... Shouldn't Victor be wondering why his cleaning staff haven't found any of these devices? They clearly aren't very thorough in their cleaning ... Heather mopes about Adam using her positron at the DA's office? I'm sure he was using her in other *ahem* positions ... How does Jack know Sharon's not gonna be 'restrained'? Maybe she'll go psychotic when her stilettos are taken away when deemed potentially self harming weapons ... That ring's not just a symbol of Nick and Phyllis' love - judging by the size of it, it's also a symbol of their incredible wealth ...... While hiding out, why IS Mary Jane going back and forth between the two most popular places in town. Why doesn't she just go stand in Victor's living room in her stupid 'disguise' .... I'm sorry I cried, Heather apologizes to her Dad. Problem is - she DIDN'T cry. Excessive blinking and smudged mascara is NOT 'crying' Ms Bloom.
