Vikki joins JT at Jimmy's (as per his message). Hearing MJ's been there the whole time, Vikki's first reaction is to call her Dad. Stopping her, JT shares his suspicion (and the note) that Victor's connected. Vikki then shares her suspicion that JT's in cahoots with Colleen to avenge the board meeting/flashing fiasco - who knows what JT would do these days - certainly not Vikki.

After sending Eden off with a delivery of garments and love beads for Kevin, Lauren greets Amber (who's there to use the office). Great, Mike snaps - it's fine. Amber pries for information on Daniel - and is horrified to learn the charges against Daniel weren't dropped after all.

At CL's, Daniel brings over a box of something or other for Kevin that took him three stores to find. Daniel has no interest in getting together with Amber - and is focused on beating the charges (and finding out what other bombs Deacon has to drop on him).

At the Winter's condo, Cane's told to put the bags down - Lily's NOT going with him. Neil won't allow it - but wait, it's NOT up to him. No, Lily hasn't forgotten what Cane did - but needs to be there - especially now. That house represents her future. Neil can't give his blessing to a man who'll break her heart a third time.

Ryder leaves Deacon's suite at the club - Yes, he's clear on his instructions - and will have that crazy chipmunk (who's 'the key' to this whole thing) eating out of his hand before the night's over. Cleverly disguised in a baseball cap, Daniel skulks around in the hallway.

Jana finds CL's closed - and the place in darkness. Kevin? she calls out. The lights go on - and she's delighted to find Kev's recreated the ashram for their anniversary. Yes - she loves it - and him. Lauren had his suit in storage - and the box Daniel brought over turns out to be a goth wig (which Kevin salivates over when she puts on). Kev knows this year's been a hard one - and promises it'll be smooth sailing from now on ~kiss~

JT tries to start over - but why would Victor be so defensive. Maybe because his own son in law suspects him. Vikki won't be turned against her own father - and to avoid a fight, leaves. Victor's hired shadow watches discreetly. Colleen returns - looks like JT could use a friend.

Neil and Lily continue to debate her leaving (and living) with Cane - the man who'll hurt her all over again (a charge Cane denies). Devon joins in to disapprove - but Lily's adamant she's making the right choice. Neil won't let her walk out that door. Lily won't die - she'll beat this - but needs her father (and all of them). Please be there - no matter what. I love you ~ group hug~ (as Cane watches on the sidelines).

Back at the Baldwin's, Amber's distraught - she slept with Deacon for nothing (and lost everything). Deacon won't stop tormenting Daniel until he gets her. Amber has a plan - she'll get close to Deacon. The Baldwin's reject the idea - what if Deacon realizes she's playing him. Amber agrees - but still plans to get a room at the club (though not on Deacon's floor). Crash here, Lauren suggest (as Mike turns to look at her with unconcealed displeasure).

Jana and Kevin enjoy fine wine. Kev borrowed all this stuff from the new owners of the ashram. Does it matter how he made a 'small donation'? His Chipmunk enterprise is taking off (including a book) - and yes, he's donating a portion to charity. Jana worries when he'll find the time to actually HELP people. Kev can do that - AND make money too - we deserve more. A knock at the door brings 'that Ryder kid'. Kev explains it's their anniversary. Ryder's about to go when Kev stops him - he's there to help. Outside, Daniel spies through the window.

Lily quietly asks Devon to take care of Dad - while Neil's duplicate request of Cane is more like a threat. And with a last hug, Lily leaves with Cane. Now alone, Devon thanks Neil for not telling Lily about him and .... A knock at the door isn't Lily coming to her senses - it's Tyra (who sees Devon and immediately guesses 'you told him').

When Neil needs to speak to Tyra alone, Devon disappears - leaving Tyra to stammer that she has no excuse. No, Neil agrees - there's not. He talks of watching Lily leave with a man who lied and broke her heart. He did the same thing to Karen - to be with HER - and now, she sleeps with his son? Neil blames himself for everything - losing his marriage and family. He could lose the most important part of his life - again - and there's not a damn thing he can do about it. Now home, Cane fusses over Lily (who wants to know all about what happened with Philip). Cane wants to talk about it later.

No offense - but Mike thinks he and Lauren should talk before he drags out the inflatable mattress? As the Baldwin's debate Amber staying, she decides to leave - not to see Deacon. Lauren will have her linens ready when she gets back. Now alone, Mike balks at having her start witness living with them. Lauren points out that if he doesn't want Amber to get involved with Deacon, he better pump up the mattress.

On the patio, Ryder tells Kevin he's done something bad. Daniel appears and is introduced to 'just Ryder'. Who's the kid? Daniel thinks he should be spending the night with his wife - but what do I know? Inside, Daniel asks Jana to meet him at Jimmy's - don't tell Kevin.

Cane serves Lily her favourite - tomato soup and oyster crackers. Lily gets back to her questions about Cane's childhood - and how he met Philip. Cane explains how they became friends - then family.

As Neil mopes about everyone leaving him, Tyra's supportive - and has hopes they can be together. Not angry - but can't forget about her and Devon. Tyra again plans to leave town - to stay with Aunt Virginia. Neil's not telling her to go. It's time, Tyra tears up - then goes to the back to pack the last of her things. Alone, Neil flips through the photo album - pausing sadly at a posed picture of him and the kids.

Over beer at Jimmy,s JT whines to Colleen that he can't do anything right - and Victor can do no wrong. Colleen only came back to call a cab. Her car's got a flat in the parking lot. After initially declining, she accepts a ride home (and the pair are followed out by the man tailing JT).

At the bar, the other Hellstrum's also whining - to Deacon. He has good news to cheer her up - the Koon's deal went through. The paperwork's in his room waiting for her to sign it. Lead the way, Vikki orders a bottle of champagne be sent up - to celebrate.

On the patio, Kevin tells Ryder all about the channeling the bad stuff into something else. Inside, Jana's eyeing the laptop through a magnifying glass (looking at a split screen and close up of the forged painting). She takes the laptop and tells Kevin she's off to run some errands.

Lauren tells Mike that Fen's happy about their new houseguest. Mike's not sure Eden will like sharing a room with Amber. On cue, Eden comes in - and thinks it cool that she's sharing a room with Amber Moore. She's gotta be out before Daniel's trial starts, the Baldwin's agree.

Deacon leans over Vikki as she signs the documents - giving her one of her favourite pieces. She talks of the haunted woman in the painting. Maybe she CAN relate. Funny, Deacon thought of Vikki as a 'free spirit'. She used to be - what happened? Life. Deacon's very close as he suggests she do something she's never done before. Maybe Vikki should - and leans in for a passionate kiss. Outside Deacon's door, Amber applies some eye drops.

Sure JT will wait til Colleen turns the lights on. Outside, the man hides in the bushes - with camera in hand. Inside, JT notes Colleen hasn't changed the house at all. Both are reminded of when they dated (and how Brad disapproved). JT's sorry he hasn't been around much since Brad died. Good old Victor Newman, her Godfather, isn't much help - in fact, he's setting her up to fail. Colleen wanted the seat to honour her Dad, never dreaming it'd become a sick game of revenge. If only they could go back to when things made sense - like when they were together.

Neil's still clutching the photo album when Tyra comes out with her bags. All set. Neil assures that Anna will always be part of the family. Tyra's sure that once she's gone, Neil and Devon will get past this - there WILL be laughter in this house again. You're a good man, she sadly concludes in parting.

Cane entertains Lily with funny stories. He's missed her laughter. Cane talks of when Philip finally confided he had a family - then as a joke, offered to lend Cane his family. Then, his life changed forever - and he found the love of his life. He sends her off to bed - and will be on the sofa if she needs him. On her way to bed, Lily thanks Cane for finally introducing her to the man she married.

At Jimmy's Jana and Daniel update one another. He'll never believe what she learned. But first, Daniel confides he followed Ryder from Deacon's room. Worried he could be dangerous, Jana's in a hurry to get back to CL's. She opens the laptop - look closely - one uses a certain brush method - the other doesn't. Holy crap - one of these photos is of the actual 50 million dollar Terroni!

Back on the patio, Kevin's telling Ryder what a trustworthy guy he is - encouraging his confidence. He tells of stuff the cops never caught him for. But Ryder's done worse - I killed a man. Kev clams up.

Colleen regrets taking JT for granted. He'll always be there for her - as friends. Is that all? Colleen always thought there was more - even now. JT agrees - it never really goes away. Colleen leans over to kiss him (and is photographed from outside the window).

Deacon and Vikki are kissing passionately as someone knocks on the door. Nope - it's not the champagne - it's a 'crying' Amber - babbling that she needs him. As she lunges into his arms, Deacon wonders what the hell to do now.

Next: Ryder snaps at Deacon - I know how to handle Kevin. Deacon snaps back - without Kevin, we got nothin'! ... Colleen waves JT off - thanks again. Abby's suspicious - you gonna tell me what he was REALLY doing here? ... Deacon tells Amber he wants more than just sex - marry me.

My Thoughts: Daniel sneers at Kevin not spending the evening with his wife - then asks the wife to meet him at a bar across town? ... Good God - I didn't know Mike knew the meaning of the words 'conflict of interest'. But never mind that - it's Lauren - she's alive! ... Doesn't JT feel a bit inept - that MJ's been staying in the very place he's been installing a security system - and how can a PI not know he's being followed ... So - Kevin goes to all that trouble (and expense of closing his busy coffee shop) - having stuff sent all the way from the ashram in Malibu - getting Daniel and Lauren to help out - and THEN, he opens the door for the first stranger who comes along? It just makes no sense. Kev should be sending Ryder to the chapel's confessional - to unburden himself to Father Todd .. How could Kevin possibly see it's 'that Ryder kid' at his door? He's laying down - behind a big pot of red plant decore .... And aren't the Fisher's jumping the gun a day or so? According to wiki, they were married, August 18, 2008 ..... And why is Kevin boasting about all the crimes he's gotten away with. Is that wise - now that he's an entrepreneur - with a venture dependent on him having banished (or at least harnessed) the crazy chipmunk? ... Why does Kevin look so stunned when Ryder confesses he killed a man? So what? You married a murderer Kevin! And it's not like he's a stranger to seeing dead bodies. One of his T-shirts should read 'I see dead people' ... Why would Eden think it 'cool' to share a room with Amber Moore - like she's some kinda celebrity or sumthin' ... Mike's gonna blow up an inflatable bed? The Baldwin's don't even have a futon in the office? Why would Eden have to share her room? And why does Amber feel less intrusive staying at the Baldwin's - than with her best pals the Fisher's? ... Kevin sneers at the idea of Jana 'working' at the coffee shop for the rest of her life? Makes if a bit different if you own the place ... Good job Neil's in such a funk about Lily - he really let Tyra off the hook. Her first words at the door 'you told him', indicate she had no plans to be honest with Neil - that she'd be perfectly happy keeping the secret that she slept with Neil's SON - good riddance! Let's just hope she stays gone - for good ... While the Hellstrum's did show more passion with their new partners du jour - Vikki looked awkward kneeling on the sofa - while JT didn't even put his arms around Colleen. I thought she was such a 'good girl' - why is she frequenting dive bars (alone and in the shortest of skirts) - and blatantly seducing a man she knows full well is married? Perhaps to pay Vikki back for her part in ousting her from the Newman board? Plus, and it seems this only irks me - how many beers did the tiny Colleen consume before she planned to get behind the wheel of her car (had she not had a flat tire)? Oh yeah - she's a REAL good girl ... According to Amber, the club has more than one floor of suites? Then how is that everyone always ends up on the same one? .. If Colleen's so embarassed about flashing the patrons of Jimmy's why is she now a regular there? You'd think she'd feel more comfortable at some other bar - like Indigo. And if Mac's any kind of business woman, she'd be using the sensational Internet clip to promote her dive. Post some flyers around that include the url to Viewclick - have the infamous clip running on the TV in a continuous loop. It's not every day that such a seedy place is featured in a hot video - ya gotta strike before your 15 minutes run out. I'd be naming a drink after Colleen - or at the very least a shooter with a cute name.
