Wahhh - Daniel threw me out - I have nowhere to go - I need you. YOU did this to me! Deacon stammers that he has to meet a client - wait at the bar for him. Emerging from the bathroom, the clever Vikki knows that was no room service (though Deacon insists it was). Apologizing, it seems Vikki's had second thoughts. Deacon understands - the moment's gone. Meanwhile, at Colleen's, JT's the one to end their passionate kiss - I can't do this.

OMG - Daniel and Jana determine that the Terroni painting photo on Deacon's flash drive is the original. If he's got the original, why did he paint a fake? To get Daniel in trouble? And what does he want with Kevin? Daniel didn't let on who Ryder was - maybe they'll slip up. But they haven't made any mistakes yet. Every path leads to Deacon.

You killed someone? Who? Kevin blinks. Ryder doesn't see that it matters - and standing, decides this is a bad idea. Kevin sits him back down - why tell ME?

At the club, Chance and Chloe's date's getting off to a good start (as he holds out her chair). Her prior dates have mostly involved chili at a diner. Both of them are starting fresh - under a microscope - observed by their Mom's and her soon to be ex and his lover. But none of them are around tonight - thank God.

Filing back into the ranch, Victor assures Abby and Ashley that all the camera's have been removed (by JT). Ashley balks when Victor disapproves of Abby going to see Colleen (then goes for a rest - actually to bed for the night). Now alone, Abby asks Victor if they're 'OK'. Yeah, don't worry about it, Victor mumbles.

Back on the patio, Ryder explains that he came to Kevin because he has 'the stones' to tell it like it is. Kevin plays therapist as he asks Ryder what happened to him as a kid. Ryder had an abusive father too. You gotta take him on, Kevin encourages - feeling he knows Ryder. Was it self defense? Ryder doubts a Judge will see it that way - you gonna call the cops? No - Kevin's a man to be trusted. Hope so, Ryder leaves.

Spotting Amber, Chloe insists she join her and Chance - then updates that she and Billy are done. She's sorry to hear her and Daniel broke up - is it because of Daniel's arrest for murder? Amber's reluctant to talk about it - then confesses it's her fault - and she made things worse. She still loves Daniel.

Jana instructs Daniel to go at Deacon 'from the side' - talk to people he knows - like Vikki. Meanwhile, back at Deacon's suite, he's now got a tray of champagne and glasses. Yes, he's keeping it - if he'd had it on hand, things might have ended differently. He assures nobody will hear about this. Vikki's just grateful to have bought the painting - good night. Outside the door, Vikki covers her face with both hands (as if horrified by her own actions). Daniel calls - wanting to talk to her about Deacon Sharp.

Back at Colleen's, she tells JT to stop feeling guilty - I jumped you (and she's kinda sorry about it). JT will always care about Colleen - you understand, right? Not really? JT doesn't want to be anybody else but Reid's Daddy - and Vikki's husband - Yes, he loves her (and never wants to be without her). Colleen will try to be more respectful. At the door, they find Abby (who once alone with Colleen, wears a knowing smile as she asks what JT was REALLY doing there).

At Jimmy's with Daniel, Vikki inspects the photos side by side on the laptop - these are the forged painting? She then adds that someone tried to sell it to Deacon - he didn't tell you that? Daniel shares that Deacon's trying to frame him for murder - he's in it up to his eyeballs. Every rock he turns over shows Deacon's ugly face. He tells of the video evidence Deacon gave to the DA. No - he's NOT trying to help me. Point is - he knows the guy (but claims he found the DVD). Vikki isn't buying it - the Koon's SHE bought was legit (like Deacon). Daniel insists he's behind the murder - but knew Vikki wouldn't believe him. Not wanting Vikki to endanger herself (again), Daniel warns her to stay away from Deacon!

Ryder's now back at Deacon's suite - mission accomplished - Kevin's his new best friend. Deacon thinks it time he got involved. Yes, Ryder's going back tonight to lay more groundwork (but knows how eager he is to ride off into the sunset with Amber). Deacon needs Kevin in the palm of Ryder's hand - without him, they've got nuthin'.

Back at the still decorated CL's, Jana tells Kevin that his new friend Ryder was seen coming out of Deacon's suite - by Daniel. Kevin reluctantly informs that Ryder confessed - to murder. Could he have been the third guy in the alley? The man who killed Balfour? But Kevin can't let her call the police - sorry.

Victor knocks on the bedroom door - Ashley? Can you hear me? We HAVE to talk about this, he persists. Getting no response, a concerned Victor kicks open the door. Ashley awakens - what are you doing!? I was sleeping! She admits she heard him (but didn't want to talk to him). Victor was worried - what's the matter with her? Is she THAT angry with him. Hasn't he given her plenty of time and space? I love you. He wants to hold her - make her feel safe. As Victor continues, Ashley looks the other way - utterly depressed.

Third wheel Amber answers a call from Deacon - I'm coming up. Wish me luck, she says as she hurries off. Chloe tells Chance that Daniel's adorable - a soulful artist type (no murderer). Chance already finds them an odd couple - Amber's reckless. Impressed with his detective skills, Chloe can't disagree - but we all make mistakes (and move on from them).

Upstairs, Amber's welcomed into Deacon's suite. He readily admits there WAS no meeting. He needed to hide the evidence that exonerates Daniel so she can't find it. You think I'm pretending? To get the evidence? Amber scoffs. No - Deacon thinks she's pretending she didn't have a good time the other night. He knows her really, really well. Amber wants to test his theory - give her the evidence (and then we'll see). Deacon can't do that - she needs to think she's making this big sacrifice in the name of love - AND have the best sex of her life. Whatever, Amber laughs - it may have been HIS best but SHE was holding back. Now seductive, Amber would be completely uninhibited with him IF Daniel was off the hook. But no - she can't just give him a taste of that (cause she'd just be thinking of Daniel the whole time). The hell you would, Deacon removes his jacket and kisses the willing Amber on the bed. But both are sitting up and looking frustrated when Daniel comes pounding at the door - Open up Sharp!

Ashley knows her behavior has been hard on Victor - you think I'm losing my mind (and maybe I am). She's worried he'd take the baby from her. Victor denies he'd ever do that. Ashley can't believe him. Victor talks of their live with the child - he'll even build a tree house. Now moving into Victor's arms, a weepy Ashley just wants their baby girl to be loved.

Kevin can't turn Ryder in - he'd take off. I'm the only one he trusts. Kevin knows he's been the victim of serious abuse - he's NOT playing me. You can't fake that, Kevin insists. Jana doesn't care - he's a murderer! Kevin still feels he needs to help Ryder. Kevin has a feeling about this guy (and can't turn his back on him).

At the club, Chance notices security is abuzz about something, and excusing himself from Chloe, introduces himself to the manager and guard as Detective Chancellor - is there a problem here? Someone's disturbing the peace? He'll be more than happy to check it out. Open the door you son of a bitch, Daniel shouts - threatening to kick down the door. Deacon opens the door - wish you'd called. I'm kinda busy. Daniel ignores Amber sitting on the bed - where's the Terroni? he marches in - tell me or I'll knock your teeth in! Deacon makes a show of being oh so scared.

Not even Colleen gushing over Abby's RS photo's will divert her focus from what JT was doing there. Nothing happened, Colleen insists. Abby saw they way they looked - trust me - I won't say anything. I'd have to kill you if you did, Colleen admits they kissed - but he won't cheat on his wife - no matter how much trouble the marriage is in. He says they'll work it out - but we'll see.

JT finds Vikki back at Jimmy's. Hey, he sits - glad she called. Victor's hired guy follows. Vikki hates arguing with JT - come home with me? JT smiles - yeah. Both know they've been out of synch and want to get things back on track. Vikki wants to work at it - but it won't be easy. That's normal, right?

Amber puts herself in front of Daniel. Deacon's a black belt, she warns. Daniel's not leaving til he finds out about the Terroni! He's got MY painting and the original! Daniel shouts over Amber. The only calm one in the room, Deacon doesn't - but he's gonna get it. YOU couldn't buy a clue if I gave you the money. Easily blocking Daniel's swing, Deacon tosses him at the Chance and the guard who just so happened to walk through the open door. You two deserve each other, Daniel spits as he's hauled out. A distressed Amber's left to struggle in Deacon's arms as he apologizes.

Kevin and Jana continue to argue about Ryder. Kev thinks the kid's in trouble and Jana plans to call the police. She's going to a movie - alone! See you at home later. Kevin calls Ryder (who's at the club) - we need to talk - come back to CL's - I'm gonna help you.

Chloe stands on the sidelines as Chance speaks to the manager on Daniel's behalf - no damage was done and he WON'T come back to cause trouble later, he assures (to which Daniel agrees). Daniel then thanks Chance. Chloe warns Daniel not to make him look bad. Amber? She's not Daniel's problem anymore.

Upstairs, Amber tells Deacon he can have whatever he wants - but he's gotta get Daniel off the hook for good. Done, Deacon knows the third person in the alley and needs a good reason to get him to confess. He wants much more than sex - marry me.

At Jimmy's, Vikki promises to keep a handle on her temper - but can JT leave Victor out of it? JT would love to - let's go home. Arm in arm the Hellstrum's leave Victor's shadow to call him with an update he's not gonna like. Come see me tomorrow, Victor instructs (then goes back to stroking the Ashley's hair as she lays in his lap).

Next: Are you working for Deacon? Kevin confronts Ryder - someone saw you leaving his hotel room ... In her robe, Lily tells Cane that she doesn't want the cancer to take her hair - she wants to take it herself ... Daniel tells Lauren that he knows Amber still loves him. She's worried that she's about to do something really stupid. Meanwhile, a resigned Amber walks into Deacon's suite.

My Thoughts: Silly Victor - doesn't he remember there's ALREADY a tree house on the ranch property. One Vikki and Nick used to play in. One Vikki was help captive in by a kidnapper a decade or so ago .... Deacon's an idiot. Amber is hardly worth all this trouble and expense. He'd have been better off pursuing the billionaire's daughter than the constantly whining girlfriend of a starving artist ... Why didn't Vikki call Deacon on his obvious lie? Amber's shrill shouting didn't sound remotely like a discussion over a mixed up room service order ... Chance did some online dating while in Iraq? Why didn't he hook up with whomever he was exchanging emails with once he got back? ... With rumours abound that a sibling for Kevin will soon be introduces, let's hope it's not Ryder (whom Kevin already feels like he 'knows'). Jana's going to a movie - alone? Nice was to spend your first anniversary. Guess Kevin can start taking down his ashram decor - ship if back to Malibu ... Why was Chloe so insistent that Amber join her and Chance on their first date? If she wants to catch up with Amber, she's got ample time (as neither do much all day). Surely, Amber could come out to the estate (where she could also catch up with the old woman she risked her life to save) Odd that Chance doesn't even seem to have heard the name 'Amber Moore' - has he not read his Grandma's memoirs (that Amber co-authored)? If he spent any amount of time online in Iraq, perhaps he caught a clip on Viewclick of Amber/Marina being publicly busted when she was chosen as a Fresh Face of Jabot? ... Full moon? New moon? Who cares? Victoria Hellstrum will cheat according to the lunar calendar. Why is she vouching for Deacon anyway? How does SHE know he's legit? All she really knows is that he's a sharp dresser, smooth talker - and willing to bed a married woman he barely knows ... Did Victor really need to kick down the door to his own bedroom? There's no master key he could use? (or coat hanger)? ... I'm not so sure Detective Wallace and the ADA will approve of Chance going to bat for Daniel. I'm thinking they'd prefer he used this perfect opportunity to get the suspected murderer's bail revoked (and throw him back in jail) ... With the ruckus that just occurred up in Deacon's suite, why aren't they keeping a closer eye on the suite (where they'd hear Deacon and Amber shouting - and loudly discussing secret evidence that would exonerate a suspected murderer)? .... Why is Colleen still holding out hope that JT will leave Vikki - for her? Didn't the man just tell you how much he loves his wife? ... When did Abby become so intuitive? Maybe she should go work for William's and Hellstrum Investigations .. When will Mac put some money and work into her bar? The duct tape repairs to the vinyl booth seats are not attractive.
