The 'two love birds' show up at the ranch waving the photo of Victor and MJ around - what are we gonna do about this? Why would the man who offered a million dollar reward be hugging her in front of the suite he paid for. Wonder how much the tabloids would pay for this? You threatening me? Victor seems unconcerned.

JT drops by the breakroom to say Paul and MJ have disappeared. You didn't say two words to me last night. Vikki claims she was just tired. Reid wonders why Mommy's mad at Daddy. JT takes the blame - nothing happened with Colleen but he should (and won't) be with her again. Vikki admits it's about more than Colleen. JT will back off on Victor too. JT gets a call - blood? is it Paul's?

At the church, Paul reassures MJ (who awakens in a panic). This is the only place you're safe from the police, Paul stresses.

At CL's, Billy updates Mac that he and Chloe are meeting with the mediator later. Never mind Indigo, Mac would like to celebrate at the trailer. To a new beginning, Mac happily clinks his mug.

Chloe and Chance bump into one another at the club (where he wishes her good luck). Everything's settled - once the papers are signed, she'll be divorced. Chloe looks forward to her 'post Billy' life. Who wants an old married woman with a kid? Chance - that's who. As he takes a call alerting him that there's a break in the case, Heather rushes over to catch a ride.

As summoned, Jill joins Kay and Murphy at the club (and is invited to join them for breakfast). Property taxes are due on the estate and Kay needs Jill's share ($100,000). When Jill grumbles, Kay wonders why - they do this every year - it's never been a problem before. Jill will have to write a check. Yes, this afternoon - all her cash is tied up in investments. When Chloe comes over to talk about the adorable Delia, Jill suddenly loses her appetite and marches out. Chloe accepts the invitation to join them. She's not hungry - but sure could use some words of wisdom.

Still in the breakroom, JT explains that Paul's car was found - abandoned and bloody. Looks like MJ took him hostage. Vikki wonders if she should contact her Mom - then asks if they can't wipe the slate clean. JT leaves - it's not that simple.

Victor continues to discuss the incriminating photo the Bardwell's hold (and figure is worth a cool million). Victor dials - not security - the police (if they don't get out). Tail between their legs, the Bardwell's do just that.

Back at the church, Paul continues to calm and reassure the frantic Patty - remember when we used to go to church? He and Todd would let her light candles when Mom wasn't watching. Paul's on her side. Patty hasn't had anyone on her side in a long time - she's sure made a mess of things - shooting Jack. They didn't press charges, Paul reminds. We were all worried when you lost the baby. Patty tried to get her life together - but had to leave (thinking everyone hated her). Why come back to GC? A very powerful made promises. Yes, Victor. But isn't it obvious? She came back for Jack.

Chloe informs Kay and Murphy that it's the big day - she and Billy are signing their divorce papers. If Billy forgets about Delia? He'll have to answer to Murphy. You'll work through this, Kay assures the 'remarkable young woman'. Why can't Billy see that? Chloe pouts.

After a smug and amused Billy orders an iced coffee from Gloria, she gripes about being poor. Jeff needs to get a job - a real job (since he mishandled Victor). Oh no - Jeff won't be mishandling Glo in the back room - until he finds a way to pay the rent.

Patty's relieves she can be herself - not Mary Jane anymore. The plastic surgery, clothes and references? Patty flashes back to Victor running her out of town. But she has to get back to Jack - the man who loves her. Sharon or Phyllis must be the ones who called the police. Paul suggests having his trustworthy partner JT intervene with the police.

On the patio, Heather's a mess - a call confirmed it IS Paul's blood in the car. JT reassures - Paul's been in tougher jams than this. On cue, Paul calls - the blood was just a cut. He's with MJ - meet us at the church - without the authorities. Both Heather and Chance demand to know where.JT's 'on his way' to.

At the salon, Jill tries to get as many extra shifts as possible - she'll treat the most difficult customer's like angels. She's most grateful when the boss allows her to take the walk ins (since Helen didn't show up today).

Meanwhile, Glo whines to Jeffrey - just look at these ruined nails. She's off to find an out of the way salon where no one knows her. On her way out, Glo wonders aloud why Billy's in such a good mood. Hasn't she heard? He's getting a divorce.

Chloe marvels that a year ago she was marrying Cane - and a year later she's divorcing Billy. Don't beat yourself up, Kay and Murphy will be right there for her - good days and bad. Mac happens along - about today. Chloe stands to say she's really happy for her and Billy - I mean it. And now, she's off to sign the papers. Mac's off to work out - but will catch up with the Murphy's later. Vikki then races over to Kay - have you heard from Mom? - it's urgent that she finds her.

His arms around Patty, Paul now gets the name. Mary for Mom, and Jane for Aunt Jane, right? JT calls out. It's my friend - we'll find a way to protect you - stay right here. Paul thanks JT for coming, but isn't happy to see Heather and Chance file in. She's dangerous, Heather reminds. Paul states that Father Hoffman gave them sanctuary from the police. But Chance has to call it on and see what the Chief wants him to do. Paul agrees Heather can see 'Mary Jane' - but don't freak her out. He then stuns Heather - this is Patty - your Aunt Patty.

JT and Heather realize the person they were looking for was Paul's sister. Patty worries when she hears Heather's the ADA - they're gonna lock me up. Sure Paul will watch Patty while she lights a candle - so she doesn't get burned. What the hell happened to her? JT wonders. Heather heard stories - she shot Jack years ago - now, almost killed Summer (and did kill Zapato) - she's dangerous. They whisper about what to do. Paul insists she needs psychiatric care. Paul's not convinced that Victor's not responsible - neither's JT. Meanwhile, at the club, Kay has no idea where to find Nikki - it's not like her to disappear. Vikki agrees - that's something Dad likes to do.

In the courthouse hallway, Chloe tells Billy that she's actually looking forward to finalizing the divorce. No more 'poor me' - it's time to move on. Chloe then apologizes for the manipulative things she did. Flashback to Billy picking her up on the streets of NY. No hard feelings. A clerk comes out to call in the next case - Abbot vs. Abbott.

Back at the church, Paul tells Patty that he located Todd - but wasn't able to talk to him. He'll call when he can. You'll be safe here. The DA won't violate sanctuary if he wants to get reelected. No - Mom doesn't know. How is she? OK - slowing down. Dad? He's still not there - but we're still a family. God is with us. You're safe, Paul again assures - but tears up as Patty goes to light the candle.

Meanwhile, Chance instructs the officers outside not to make a move - then rejoins Heather to debate violating sanctuary vs. disrespect. She won't hurt Paul, Heather assures - it's his sister. Mary Jane was an alias. Heather doesn't know all the details - plastic surgery - she may not be responsible for her actions. Chance gets a call from the chief - we got the go ahead. Heather's still waiting for a call - and is given another 2 minutes.

JT visits the ranch to tell Victor that he knows mary Jane's whereabouts - but she's actually Patty Williams, Paul's sister. I'll be damned, Victor feigns surprise. Extensive plastic surgery you say? Why would she do that? JT reports her history with Jack - but you must know all this. Where are they now? St Jude's parish. JT's still curious about the note that suggested he knew something. When Victor denies the connection, JT accuses Victor of helping her - to get Jack. But instead you unleashed a violent, unstable woman on your own family. YOU talk about family? Victor balks - after cheating on your wife - with a woman I asked you to investigate? JT's no longer welcome in this house.

Arriving at the salon, Gloria's told to take a seat. Flipping through her magazine, Glo - and then Jill are stunned to see one another. Pick a colour, Jill says in a flat voice. Removing her glasses, Glo couldn't be any more delighted.

Chloe and Billy are told to review the documents - sign the last page and you're good to go. Billy hesitates - you know - um - I can't sign this. Why not? He has some questions about the settlement.

Meanwhile, Mac's with the Murphy's and Vikki - thank God Billy signs his divorce papers today. We're both pretty excited about it. Kay stands to leave, promising Vikki she'll tell Nikki about Paul (if she hears from her). Murphy quips that she has a 'gumshoe' in the family - put him to work. I certainly will, Vikki smiles (and then does just that when JT arrives). JT will look into it - then shares that Paul's at St Jude's - where he and Mary Jane have been given sanctuary. Why would he do that? Knowing what she did to Summer? Cause MJ's his sister, Patty (with a new look). Victor's responsible, he adds. Wiping the slate clean was HER idea - something JT doesn't think possible with the Newman family. Figure it out, he snaps at the baffled Vikki.

Chance tells Heather that her time's up - so what if she hasn't heard from her superiors. SHE doesn't have the authority to say when they 'make a move'. Everyone into position, he snaps into his walkie talkie. Then, on the megaphone, tells Paul Williams to bring Ms Benson out in 1 minute - or they come in. Paul comes out long enough to say she's not coming out. You'll have to violate sanctuary if you wanna come and get her.

Back at CL's, Jeff stops cleaning the counter to chuckle when Victor arrives - did he decide to play ball after all? Victor orders a strong coffee - and listen carefully - he has a way for Jeff and his heartthrob to get out of their financial misery - bring Mary Jane to him - she's at ST Jude's. Take it or leave it, Victor says as he walks out - without his coffee.

Next: Chance tells the suit beside him 'I have my orders'. paul comes out again - there will be NO surrender - except on my terms .... Chloe gets it - you're having second thoughts. Billy bobbles his head - but he doesn't deny it ... As usual, Lily's holding Cane's hand - I need you. I can't keep pretending ... Jill marches up to Jeff (who appears to be outside the church). Whatever you're up to, I'm in too, she firmly assures.

My Thoughts: My apologies for the lateness and lack of proofing of today's spoiler. I watched the 4:30 broadcast, then had to rush 2 kids to their soccer games. For the next 2 weeks I'll be watching the afternoon broadcast instead of the 11:00 one - so will be uploading later (but certainly not this late!). Once the kids are back to school in September, I'll resume my schedule, watch the morning show - and be able to update much earlier. Sorry for the inconvenience.
