At the tackhouse, Nick tells Phyllis they need to talk - no more secrets - last night he went to see Sharon at the hospital. Phyllis knows - she saw him.
At the hospital, the therapist worries about Sharon's non participation in group sessions - she can't just mark off the court appointed 30 days. Sharon doesn't need therapy - the ring was a misunderstanding. When the therapist goes on to warn that Sharon might go to jail if she doesn't cooperate, Doris gives Sharon her most disapproving look.
At the church, Paul updates Jack (who finds it not hard - but 'impossible' to believe). Paul assures that MJ IS Patty (who's still in love with Jack). His sister's very fragile - like a child. Owen isn't so sure she's not dangerous - while Chance wants to put an end to this. Jack believes he can - in a peaceful way. Chance warns it could turn into a hostage situation - is Jack prepared for that!?
Outside the church, Jill demands answers from Jeff - If Jack won't help get Victor, she sure will. As reporters look for people who have information (to go on air) Jill threatens to share what SHE knows - then realizes Jeff knows the REAL connection between Victor and MJ. She won't be shooed off and will go to Victor if she has to. What will it cost for her to go away and leave Jeff alone? 100K. Done - get outta here! Jeff hisses. Jill refuses - she'll hound him night and day until she knows what's going on.
Inside, Gloria's dressed like a nun - as Patty tells Kitty Kitty how much he'll love Jack. My dear child, Gloria begins - then bows out quickly as Patty focuses on Jack as he walks in. 'He's here'.
At CL's, Eden encourages Noah to visit his Mom more - knowing Sharon didn't realize she framed her for stealing the books, Eden's willing to let it go. When Abby wants to speak to Noah 'in private', he makes it clear that Eden stays. And when Abby tells Noah that the deadline to enroll in Walnut Grove is near - Eden surprises them both by encouraging him to do so (so the losers at the public school will stop hassling him for being a Newman).
At the club, Mike and Lauren are free for dinner and a movie (where they'll make out in the back row). Mike's picked up some mail for the Bardwell's - and wonders what they're up to (as they've been laying low).
Patty introduces Jack to Kitty Kitty - a gift from the Holy Spirit. Cat got your tongue? she wonders. Jack stammers apologies for not recognizing her. Good to see you Patty - but why didn't she tell him? Patty wanted to wait until he fell in love with her again.
In the vestibule, Paul's assuring Owen and Chance that Patty won't hurt Jack. Flipping through the case history, Chance sees that she already shot him (years ago).
Glo discreetly watches as Patty tells Jack about the other Kitty she lost - just like she lost him - but you're back. Yes - and Jack promises that everything will be OK. Good - Patty has no plans to lose him again.
Back at the tackhouse, Nick wonders why Phyllis didn't say anything when she saw him at the hospital. Phyllis figures he didn't want her to know. Nick understands why she'd be suspicious, then explains he bumped into Sharon - asked how she was doing - then took off. Back for good, he wants to re-earn Phyllis' trust. Phyllis denies she 'stewed' all day - and owes an apology too - she should have told him. While Nick enjoys the sandwich Phyllis made him, she answers an International call - amazing news - the clinic in Zurich has an opening for Summer - but they have to leave tomorrow. Nick's all for it - nothing's more important than their daughter.
Sharon whines to Doris about messing up everything she touches - like putting her in a wheelchair. She realizes SHE'S the one who makes bad decision - and is responsible for her (and others) pain. Sharon committed herself to do the right thing for once (and get away from Jack).
Out of sight, Glo watches as Patty tells Jack that she is indeed pregnant - something she's been waiting her whole life for. We'll be so happy - and get married. Married? Jack balks. Please - let's go get Father Hoffman, Patty pleads. Jack agrees - it makes sense. Let's go find Father Hoffman right now. Patty tears up - the police are out there. And no - Jack isn't allowed to leave her alone. Jack insists - promising he'll be right back.
In the vestibule, Chance gripes about Patty's record not being entered into the database. Paul explains his Dad was a veteran on the force - he had the details sealed. She was a kid back then. And now a dangerous psychotic woman, Chance and Owen point out. We're going in! Jack comes out - the demands? She wants to get married. The kicker? She claims to be pregnant. Jack and Paul know that's impossible - after her miscarriage, they were told Patty couldn't have kids. Paul stops the bickering - he has a plan.
Back at the club, Mike and Lauren discuss which movie to see - as Lauren goes through the Bardwell's stack of past due bills. Mike gets on the phone to let them know. Jeff ignores a call to argue with Jill (who wants in on this). Jeff threatens to expose her new career to the press if she doesn't take a hike (which Jill does).
Gloria strikes up a conversation with Patty - sure she can find some food for Kitty Kitty. Patty babbles about marrying the most wonderful man - but where is he? Jack? Jack? Glo tries to hush her up - then scurries away as just outside, Jack's outfitted with a mike - sure he can talk her down. I can handle this, he assures as he goes back inside the church - to find Patty with a white lacey tablecloth draped over herself. I can't wait to be your wife, she purrs as Glo watches.
At the club, Eden tells Mike and Lauren that she wants to go to Walnut Grove. They question her motives - and guess that Noah's switching schools too. The Baldwin's won't make any decisions on a whim - and have a movie to get to. Eden leaves them to worry - she and Noah are seeing way too much of each other. It's best they go to separate schools.
As Phyllis hangs up with the Zurich facility, Nick's booked the flight - reserved her hotel. RS and NE are covered - she and Summer will be on the first flight out tomorrow. Noah arrives to say he wants to go to Walnut Grove. It's hard being a Newman in public school (where he's 'heckled'). Dad was right - he doesn't fit in. Mom will be OK with it, Noah assures (though Nick insists they talk to Sharon - now). When Noah declines going, Nick decides to go alone. And after Noah leaves, Phyllis encourages him to go ahead while she packs. Nick thinks her amazing ~kiss~
Doris knows Sharon's not fine - she's carrying some burden. She won't leave until Sharon tells her what's going on - you need help. At least Jack's there to help. Irritated, Sharon blurts out that Jack's not the father - Nick is! Her explanation? Summer was sick - and she could never do to another human being what Phyllis did to her.
Back at the club, the Baldwin's are about to leave when Jill stops them - eager to talk about the Bardwell's. But no - she'll let Gloria tell them all about it. As Jill walks off, the Baldwin's joke about what a horror show Gloria is.
On the patio, Abby tells Noah how much he'll love Walnut Grove. Abby's smile fades - and she looks downright nauseous as Eden comes along to announce she's switching too. Yay - this is awesome, Noah and Eden hug.
Glo watches (and the authorities listen in) as Jack tells Patty how lovely she looks - but what about a new wedding dress - and doesn't she want her family there? No - Patty has Paul to give her away. Don't you want this Jack? We're bringing a baby into this world. Jack thinks she should be checked out by a doctor. He doesn't want to rush the wedding - what about rings? No - he's not making excuses. Patty gets angry - you're tricking me - like everyone else.
The Baldwin's drop by the tack house - and hear that Phyllis and Summer are off to Zurich tomorrow ~hugs~ They're there to see Nick - Eden has a sudden yearning to go to Walnut Grove. Phyllis informs that yes indeed, Noah wants to transfer too. In fact, Nick's asking Sharon right now. No - Phyllis has NO problems with that. Sharon's not a problem anymore.
Doris scolds Sharon for lying - then offers to have her cab sent away. No - Sharon needs to think anyway. Swear you won't tell anyone, Sharon insists - no one can know that Nicks' the father. As luck would have it, Nick overhears through the open door (and turning his back, pretends he's on the payphone as Doris wheels out).
Armed with a flashlight, Jeffrey goes to work on the church's fuse box. Paul and the authorities listen in as Jack tries to talk Patty out. They realize it's not working - as Patty rants about Jack's other women - 'friends'? Like Diane Jenkins? No - Jack denies - not like Diane. Patty continues to whine about Phyllis and Sharon - they want to 'gobble you up'. But she realizes he can't help the way they throw themselves at him - she had to do something to stop it. What things? Jack wonders. Patty admits she just gave Summer a little kiss. What did you do to that child!? Jack demands. As the lights suddenly go out, the cops all barge in. Patty!? Paul calls out amidst the chaos.
Next: You don't have an answer do you? Ashley confronts Adam (who says 'You just need to let me finish). Ashley opens the door to her bedroom - I'd like you to go Adam, please ... Am I the father? Nick confronts Sharon. Of course no, she lies. Don't lie to me, Nick growls .... You have the right to remain silent, Chance reads (as Paul's cuffed and arrested).
