At home, Jack briefly ponders the ballet shoes he finds in a cardboard box, then calls Sharon. Pleased to hear she made it out of her room (and into the club's restaurant), he asks her to meet him somewhere else.

At the tackhouse, Phyllis gives the glum looking Nick an out (from joining her, Summer and the Baldwin's at the Harvest festival). But knowing the secret to eating candy apples (without the coating falling off), when Mike comes to call on them, Nick decides to tag along.

The Murphy's and Pearl are also at the fair - talking to Joe JR on the phone about Pearl bringing home the blue ribbon for best pie. And now Pearl heads off for the smoked brisket contest - wish me luck. Hugging Murphy, Kay's surprised to find herself able to smile today (given what's gone on with Victor and Colleen).

At the cabin, Billy's obviously thinking of Colleen - but no need to leave (as Mac suggests) - they can make some more good memories. But much to Billy's chagrin, their passionate kiss is interrupted by Chance and Chloe (who denies she followed him). They came from the Festival - and Billy Abbott is NOT the center of her universe. Now, stop smiling like that! And as the Abbott's continue to bicker, Chance and Mac awkwardly discuss the weather.

Meeting Jack at Colleen's place, Sharon's sorry she didn't attend her funeral (then talks about her and Nick scattering the ashes, then going their separate ways). Grief has taken them to some dark places - and it's a relief to have gotten through it as nothing more than friends. Sharon feels Jack's a friend too. How lucky she is to have known two great men - who're still supporting her. She too has said enough good bye's for a lifetime.

The Baldwin and Newman families wander around the Festival - and as the kids are whisked off for face painting, Nick the self proclaimed 'buzz kill', mopes about the daughter's he's lost - but won't leave (and ruin the day for the daughter who's getting better and better every day). Sucking it up (and eating some BBQ) is the least he can do for his 'fighter' wife. Phyllis IS indeed a fighter - and knows Nick will be at her side - fighting too.

With the kids at the petting zoo, the Baldwin's spy on Nick and Phyllis (and are pleased to see that things are going well). Phyllis deserves 100% of Nick. It's Fen's birthday - and Mike can't help but remember the way Nick 'left the fold' (to pursue Sharon). As Mike lightens the mood with a joke, Kay and Murphy (the man behind the Festival) come along. And after a few more chuckles, Kay asks how Nick's doing (as well as can be expected).

Meanwhile, Phyllis' valiant attempt to cheer Nick up is rewarded. If she wants to hear about scattering the ashes, he'll tell her. He talks of 'letting go' - facing it head on was the right thing to do. And now his job is to put a smile on Summer's face. Good - then how about winning her a cow? And the pair head off to the hoops game - competitively debating which of them will be the one to win Summer a prize. Rounding the corner - eating his pie, Mike's a 'happy man' - did Nick just step in what I think he did?

Back at the Carlton manor, Jack broke the casserole dish - but there's plenty of leftovers to eat (and clean up). In charge of finding a tenant for the house, Jack offers it to Sharon - whaddaya say? Is it too weird? Brad was a good friend, Sharon mulls it over - he'd get a kick out of it. No more room service - or waiting for her life to start. It's a Yes ~hug~ Jack always seems to know just what Sharon needs.

The bickering at the cabin continues. And when Billy warns his nephew to run (away from Chloe), Chloe's heard enough. Mac finally joins in - to wonder why Chloe walked in like like she owns the place. Billy thinks it bizarre - stalker bizarre. I'm still an Abbott - you and I are not divorced! Chloe barks at her 'friend' (as she throws the keys at Billy's feet). You're not divorced? Mac stammers. We're waiting on a stamp - I signed, Billy informs. There's a glitch, Chance claims - then is surprised to hear the glitch is that Chloe hasn't signed the papers. Having a private chat with Billy, Chloe explains she's been too busy to sign the papers. And she WAS hoping to have some private time with Chance (the tall, good looking guy). Billy's unimpressed. So, we're still married - and you brought your boy toy to my family cabin to get lucky? You little ...

Jack finds it hard to swallow that Colleen's gone but the Mustache lives on. Sure, Victor took some bullets for him - but he DID put the whole thing in motion. Always Victor's supporter, Sharon feels that Patty made her own choices. That woman doesn't even know what year it is, Jack points out (and feels guilty for his role in Patty's downfall). Neither feel lucky at the whole marriage thing (with Sharon planning to be alone for the next 20, 30 years). Though Jack thinks that a shame (on behalf of men everywhere), Sharon just wants to be whole - on her own - not half of a whole.

As the Festival goers continue to have a good time (at Nick's expense), the Murphy's head off with the Baldwin's for brisket (leaving Phyllis vowing to do anything to make Nick feel better ~kiss).

Back at the cabin, Mac and Chance unpack their picnic baskets - as they discuss the weird chemistry that bonds Chloe and Billy (as well as Delia). Mac's secure in her relationship (having loved Billy for so long) - but is annoyed that their alone time has turned into the 'Billy and Chloe Hour'. When Chloe starts talking about Chance's big hands, Billy thinks it time they leave (so he and Mac can have some privacy - to talk). About what? Him resigning from Jabot, he blabs to the nosey Chloe (who snickers - you can't commit to anything, can you?).

With Murphy unable to win a prize at his own Festival, Kay leaves the ladies to go massage his ... ego. Is that us years from now? Phyllis asks. Lauren can only hope so. She then notes that Nick's having a good time - don't look now - but why can't the brilliant Mike toss a ball into a cup? He's a spaz, Phyllis chuckles. And sure enough, Mike's getting extremely frustrated at his inability to win a prize. It's rigged, he insists (when the wives join them).

In her new home, Sharon looks forward to the freedom (after the club and psych hospital) - but has to admit that her stay there really helped. She even signed up for a bereavement group. The past doesn't have to own her - OR Jack. Let it all go - Victor, Patty - just let it go, she advises.

Phyllis and Lauren both manage to get balls in the cups - and win large stuffed pigs. But the men are happy enough toting their kids around. Pearl's happy too - having won two blue ribbons. Kay gives her a hug (and then Murphy when he presents her with a stuffed toy). The boys playfully make off with the wives' prizes - then all pose for photos - and hit the dance floor (to 'oh what a beautiful world').

Noah thinks it a bit weird to be back at the Carlton manor - after yesterday. Sharon explains that she's been asked to rent it. There's so much room. She's tired of the club. Will Noah live there with her? Not to look after her - but for her to look after HIM. She IS his mother, after all. Noah agrees - but gets to pick his room ~hug~

As Chance and Chloe sit on the couch, looking increasingly bored, Billy and Chloe continue to bicker. Chance has had enough - let's grab Delia and go into town. Whoa - MY Delia? Billy balks. Mac joins in to say maybe she and Billy should go. She's leaving, Billy barks (at the same time as Chloe's announcing that BILLY'S leaving). Go home with Mr Big Hands, Billy says. No - Chloe's still an Abbott - and is still staying.

As the Newman's are remarking what a great day they had, Sharon shows Noah around their new home - debating who gets the master bedroom. Poking her head out patio the door, Sharon looks happy. Back home, Jack realizes that Sharon's right - it's time to let it go. He picks up the newspaper to read the headline (about Patty being incarcerated). Also reading the same article - a woman who looks exactly like Patty (with dark hair). Oh Patty, No - you didn't, she gasps.

Next: Nick and Vikki challenge Adam - Your ride on our father's good graces ends - right now ... On the patio, Kevin takes down the painting (which he hid the Terroni behind) - explaining that his Mom was making me paranoid (he then sees the Terroni's gone) .... Is this our ticket to the big time? Jeff asks Gloria... Nick rolls his eyes - as Victor tells him - I think that Adam should be given a second chance.

My Thoughts: Happy Thanksgiving Canada!
