OK - so let me get this straight (so to speak) - you seduced a man? Yeah - and Adam's straight as an arrow (in his sexual preferences at least). This is who he is - a liar - a manipulator. It's OK - it makes him sick too, he assures Sharon (who seems delighted to have something in common with her new BFF - their mutual love of men).

Now regretting her harsh words, Vikki leaves JT a message - call me. I love you. Joining Mike (seated at the club), she reads a blog on her phone (of how the Newman heiress pulled the wool over shareholders eyes - lying about her father's health). While Mike handles a 'wide variety of issues', this one should go to NE's legal department. Kay joins them to ask how Victor's doing. Her Inbox full (and having experience with bad press) Kay advises Vikki not to lose sleep over it.

Nikki's put Victor's clothing away. Next she needs to let Dr Swift know where he is - and inform the club's manager about transplant rejection symptoms - just in case. That stuff can wait. Victor wants to know what's going on with her. Ok - so, Nikki found out that Victor came looking for her (the night she left GC). Why? What did he want to say?

On the CL's patio, Emily's served some green tea, commenting on the stares and whispers her famous face is drawing. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but Paul guesses that Patty shoulda asked before stealing Emily's image. He appreciates her not being pissed. Emily holds nothing against Patty - but is 'furious' with those who orchestrated 'this'. Paul just wants his sister back (and is sure Emily can accomplish that, if he can only convince her to stay).

Typing away, Billy asks his staff to get a head shot of Victor - warts and all. Who is he 'stringing up' now? Jack arrives with champagne - and a question. Has Billy lost his mind?

How does Nikki know Victor went looking for her? Paul. Nikki reminds that he turned her away - what else was there left to say? Victor feels she's avoiding talk of their future. What future? The one they were meant to have. Scurrying out, Nikki has other things to take care of - I'll be back.

Oh no, the champagne's not for celebrating - it's for numbing Billy's pain when he loses everything (at RS). And what's he working on anyway? Scoffing at Phyllis' 'celebrity pet' story, Billy knows what the public really wants - justice. For whom? Jack balks at the idea of 'reviving' RS - by taking on Victor Newman. Taking a seat at Billy's computer, Jack reads the scathing article aloud. It's all wrong. You wanna bring down old Mumbles? Watch and learn. I'll show ya, big brother starts typing.

Back at the club, Mike wonders who'd benefit from tattling to the SEC. Vikki's distracted - until Victor appears (to take the seat Mike scrambles all over himself to give the great man). And when Vikki (unsuccessfully) claims that nothing important's going on, Mike feels Victor should know. It IS his company. Vikki whines about the SEC - and the need to fight them. Isn't that what Daddy would do?

Adam continues to unburden himself to the non judgmental Sharon. His lawyer was a nice guy (whom Adam claimed to have feelings for to keep him in his corner). It was wrong - but it got physical - so fast. He hurt the only two people who ever gave a damn about him. Heather and that 'poor kid'. Rafe Torres? He's MY lawyer, Sharon squaws (causing Adam to regret his confession).

Oh no - Sharon denies there's 'sides' to be taken. She's 'acted out' too. Stealing, sleeping with men she shouldn't have. Why, she didn't even know who fathered her baby at first. But haven't they both 'done their time'? Move on - for the sake of family. Adam's encouraged to focus on his new sister - and how much he loves her. And her giving Adam 'the benefit of the doubt' isn't the hardest thing Sharon's had to do.

Now on Kay's sofa, Nikki wonders why it's assumed that she's there to discuss Victor. But OK - she asked why he came looking for her. Things have been simple since she came back from Colorado. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over - and expecting a different outcome. But she DOES see a difference in Victor. It's been the same dance, as far as Kay can see - it's time to get off the dance floor, and get on with life. YOUR life. Nikki DOES know where it'll end up; crying, fighting, maybe drinking. YOU'VE seen it. YOU know.

Asked for his opinion, Mike warns Victor that if Vikki goes after the press, guns blazing, it'll appear she's protesting too much. Is Vikki supposed to just sit back and take it? Newman's don't fold - they fight back. Victor agrees - but you can't deal with the press when you're this angry. Get a thicker skin. She's done a good job, but Victor's taking over now - and he knows how to deal with these 'media hacks'.

Keep typing, Jack orders Billy - as he talks of the Caribbean bank that took wealthy people down (24 hours after Victor withdrew his cash). A psychic in his payroll, or insider trading? And where did Jack hear all this? Rule 1. Never reveal your sources. Billy also questions Jack's change of heart. Why so eager to 'roast' Victor, after giving him Colleen's heart? The day Victor came out of the OR (and 'CC' didn't) is the day Billy declared war. This man basically killed our niece. Jack insists Patty be left out of the story. Talk about what happened at the lake, and Victor's other crimes will be forgotten. He'll be the martyr who tool a bullet for his enemy. Include Patty and Jack will stop the story in it's tracks. Oh no? Try me.

Ending a call, Emily reports that she's been asked to return to teaching. She'd like to help Patty, but needs to go back. Paul agrees that many in GC care about him - but not about his sister. He tears up at the thought of Patty being holed up in that cell the rest of her life, thinking she's married to Jack. You're all I have, he pleads. Emily agrees to stay a few more days - but it won't be enough time to undo the damage Victor and Jack have done.

Kay has to wonder where Nikki would be if she married Paul. It would have been the wrong thing, Nikki knows. She went too fast from David to Victor to Paul. Waking up to the mountains was much better than staring into the bottom of a bottle (Mexico). Having no idea what the future hold for Victor and Nikki, Kay barks that she should cut the crap - make a decision and get on with it already.

Still at the club, Vikki won't have her recovering Daddy fighting her battles. But if Victor gives a statement, her integrity won't be questioned. Despite Mike thinking it a good idea, Vikki refuses. No! She wants a chance to prove what she's always been told - that she's like her father. She'll defend her own name. I can fix this. Vikki needs but one thing from Victor; his blessing.

Yes, Kay knows how to cut to the heart of the matter - that's why Nikki came isn't it? And she sees how Nikki becomes the naive young girl when with Victor (her wealthy prince) - but what happens AFTER the 'happily ever after'? Nikki's feelings for Victor will never subside. He's given her everything - her life - her children - grandchildren. But she does NOT want to be the helpless waif who bats her eyelashes - and says 'Oh, Victor - what did you want to say to me that night you broke my heart'? Yes - Victor may 'choose' her - but that choice comes at a price (one Nikki's not sure she can pay anymore).

After Mike excuses himself to take a call, Victor tells Vikki how proud he is of her - but she MUST let HIM handle this idiocy with the press. Not because she can't handle it - but because she's above it. So glad her Daddy's 'here', Vikki agrees - one condition - when they find out who ratted to the SEC, there's no holding back. That lowlife will lose everything WE almost did.

Cut to Adam. Walked to the door, they joke about the heavy discussions they always seem to have. Thanksgiving? Sharon's gonna skip the holiday's - but next time either of them is on the edge of the cliff, about to do something stupid, they call one another. The 'sponsors' shake hands to seal the deal.

Leave Patty alone, Jack insists - stick to Victor's business dealings; the viral video, the Cayman bank - anything else will come back to bite Billy in the butt. Billy disagrees - Victor literally twirling his mustache as he preys on young women. Offshore accounts - that's fascinating stuff, Billy exclaims sarcastically - but finally (and reluctantly) agrees. Maybe Billy Abbott's RS won't be the disaster I thought it would be, Jack says in parting. Gee thanks, a disappointed Billy slumps in front of his computer.

Nikki's now at NE, and as she prattles on, listing everything she's 'sorted out' for Victor, Vikki's amused to point out that she's behaving like his wife again. Speaking of husband's, how's JT? Vikki's smile turns upside down - he's in NY for a job interview. No - not for NE. He wants Vikki to make a choice - the marriage or the company. Either way ... Either way you lose, Nikki finishes the sentence - with a motherly ~hug~

Still at the club, Victor thanks Mike for drawing up transfer papers so quickly. Mike doesn't agree with his decision to relinquish the ranch - but it's what Victor wants (as he signs without hesitation). Victor has other business - does Mike still have his last will and testament (drawn up before his heart surgery). The kids all know where they stand at NE. Yes, Victor's getting his ducks in a row (as he's about to make some big changes in his life - very big changes).

At RS, Billy reads his article aloud - flowery prose about Patty pointing the gun - to rid the world of one of it's most hateful scourges (while his Goddaughter was drowning). Martyr my ass, he mutters - sorry Jack. I'm calling the shots now.

At CL's, Jack will never get used to seeing 'that face'. Emily's glad she ran into him - she prefers he stop visiting her patient. Her name is Patty. Yes, Emily knows her name - but Jack no longer needs to. And no, she won't ever cut Jack a break. Besides Paul, no one wants Patty to get better more than Jack does. Maybe Emily can stop giving him the evil eye whenever she sees him. There's no evil eye - maybe he's projecting his own guilt. Jack feels that after what he's lost this year, he's paid his karmic debt. He's does 'own' what he did to Patty - and is trying to grow from it. Maybe Emily can ease up on the judgment.

Billy's on the phone - I sent the file - in PDF and JPG format. A VSF file? What? he's frustrated. PSD file, Sharon appears to bail him out. There you go, she says (as she leans over to tap the keyboard a few times). Hi, by the way - and thanks, Billy gives a friendly kiss. Champagne? Or is that too weird? If you think that's weird, wait til he hears what Sharon's there for. A job! Whoa! Pop goes the champagne cork. Sharon's tired of being at home - feeling sorry for herself. Billy's surprised she'd want to be there. There's you and Jack, you and Nick, hell - you and me. Hold on, there's no you and me, she corrects. Billy agrees - no offence. Sharon misses the job itself. Billy could use someone showing him the ropes. They toast to his first issue and first official hire. Cheers (both gulp thirstily).

Returning to the patio for the phone he left behind, Paul bumps into Kay. He did a 'wonderful thing'. Reuniting the woman he loves with her ex husband? No - not punishing Nikki for how she felt. Paul just hopes Nikki's happy. Aww - that deserves a big ole hug.

Nikki offers wise, motherly words of advice - JT loves you. It's about family - and dancing. Yes, dancing. It can be exhilarating and exhausting - but at some point you have to take one another's hand - and go home - together.

At the club, Adam approaches Victor - he's seen the press on Vikki and has talked to his contact at the SEC. He won't let them down. Maybe Vikki should lay low, someone else should handle the media. When Victor excuses himself to take a call, Mike wonders who Adam thinks should handle the media - YOU? Adam's not that stupid - he's the bastard son fresh outta jail. Mike's not stupid either - he just watched Adam try to remove his sister from the company. We see your game. You may think you're about to get everything you want - but Mike's there to ensure that doesn't happen. That a threat? Adam leans in to leer - to which Mike chuckles. 'With one hand' (which he waves inches from Adam's face). Everything alright? Victor returns. Yes - Mike was just telling Adam that they have it covered. Victor's glad that Adam understands - and sees it his way.

Next: Looks a bit like you at that age, Jana comments to Kevin (as she holds an old photo in her hand). What are you doing in my stuff? Ryder walks in to ask ... You're gonna throw me out? And your children? The baby too? Ashley balks. I will NOT be barred from my own place, Victor growls ... At NE, Vikki stands by as Deacon tells JT - I did your wife a big favour. Stop! Vikki yelps - as JT sends Deacon to the ground with one punch (as the flash of numerous cameras go off).

My Thoughts: Why does Jack assume Billy's gonna 'revive' RS - No one's ever indicated the magazine wasn't doing well ... Though only in town for 5 minutes, Emily can see that 'many people' care about Paul. Huh? Like who? .. Um - I think Nikki's missed a few man in her list of 'speed marrying' I don't think she's taken a break since she hung up her boa ..... Vikki should contact NE's legal department? You mean they haven't discussed it already - and it's all over the pressed? .... Paul doesn't give a damn about the people who orchestrated this - what kinda detective doesn't have hatred for those who ruined his sweet sister? I guess the same PI who manages to leave his cell phone at the local coffee shop (like his contact list wouldn't be of interest to anyone) ... Billy's gonna need something a bit stronger than champagne if RS tanks - his first hour on the job and he's already on his second bottle ..... How long is Mitch, the printer, supposed to wait for Billy (and Jack) to compose a replacement for RS's cover story? And Billy has no business running a magazine if he can't manage to pull a head shot of Victor off the Internet ... Who knew Sharon was so accomplished when it comes to computer graphics? It wasn't her forte when she actually worked at the magazine. She was more like 'director of stylish ideas' - donut fetcher - the one who changed the filter in the coffee machine. And won't Noah be disappointed to find the mother who vowed to start taking care of him - you know, be a Mom - do what Mom's do - is now working a demanding full time job. It IS full time isn't it? Cause neither hours, duties - or rate of pay were discussed. Just that Sharon's gonna show Billy 'the ropes' (which I'm sure she's already done - and has the burns to prove it) ... Adam claims that moving from a prison cell to the ranch 'didn't help'? You'd think he'd be a bit more appreciative of exchanging the orange jumpsuit for his own clothes, prison food for gourmet meals delivered demand - not to mention being saved from those pesky cons who kept jabbing needles in his eyes ... I'm not understanding what Jack has against the expose on Victor including reference to Patty. And if he wants to stick to Victor's business affairs - why mention the 'viral video' (of his niece flashing her ta ta's in a seedy bar)? There's not even any proof that Victor orchestrated that. If Jack, the former 'journalist', bothered to do any investigating, he'd learn that his former stepmommie was involved ... Victor deserves to know what's going on with his own company, Mike scolds Vikki - not to mention that he'll know all about it when he picks up any of the newspapers 'skewering' Vikki ... Giving Adam 'the benefit of the doubt' isn't the 'hardest thing' Sharon's had to do. There's an understatement - the hardest thing Sharon ever had to do was in Billy's pants ... or Nick's or maybe it was Jack's ... And never mind Sharon feeling sorry for the ever so remorseful Adam - how about some sympathy for the unsuspecting ADA who's fiance was cheating on her with another man? ... If Vikki's being hounded so badly by the press, why haven't they converged on her while sitting in the middle of a public restaurant - with her attorney and the CEO she's accused of lying about? And if she knew (or wanted) what's best for the company, she'd let Victor release a statement verifying that this 'Phoenix' is indeed fit as a fiddle ... Who's Jack to lecture Billy on letting his emotions effect what he publishes in his rag - HOW is that different from Jack smearing Sabrina? ... How did Billy come to be so knowledgeable on what the 'public' wants - and why is he so against 'celebrity pets'? Perhaps he needs to buy a more hard hitting publication - instead of a fashion rag. And how could Jack stop Billy's story 'in it's tracks'? Is he that powerful? ... Why's Paul surprised that no one 'cares' about his sister? What has she done for anyone? Other than harm their kids and kill their pets? And if he'd do 'anything' to keep Dr P in town - how about offering to PAY her for her time? ... NOW Kay's all hell bent on 'piss or get off the pot' approach to life - yet she delayed returning to HER life for months ... And what's all this talk of Nikki being a naive young lady - she was a stripper. GC must be the only place where strippers are classified as naive (despite working at a job where their only duty is to have men take hard earned money from their pockets - and jammed into their G-strings) ... Nikki really thinks that Victor's given her 'everything'? - her kids, grand kids - oh, and don't forget her 'life' (and by that she means her luxurious life, funded by Victor's money). Does she really think that if not for Victor she wouldn't have had kids - or grand kids? In fact, she'd have one MORE kid (and potentially more grand kids) if Victor hadn't caused her to have Jack's child prematurely. Maybe Kay using the 'dance' anaology was a nod to Nikki's former profession. Nikki doesn't know if she can 'pay that price' anymore? Of course you can - thanks to Victor's money ... How nice that Sharon and Adam are one another's 'sponsor's - to call each other before they do something 'stupid' - like either of em having casual sex with some random guy ... Oh, the irony - she'll call her friend next time she's 'standing on the edge of a cliff'? Is Sharon forgetting the last time she was standing on the edge of a cliff? Phyllis was the one trying to 'call a friend' - their combined stupidity lead to the death of Sharon's last, and only, other friend, Dru .... How is it that Jack, so determined to revive Jabot - spends the work day NOT at Jabot (where Jill's likely sluggin' away) but at the local coffee shop - and then at his brother's new place of business? Working with Jill won't be a problem if he's never at the office ... Victor wonders if Mike 'still has' the last will and testament (drawn up before the transplant). Yeah, like Mike's gonna respond - with a careless wave of his hand - 'Naw. I threw it out. Why? Was it important'? .. Stop giving me the evil eye every time you see me, Jack whines at Dr P (who's seen him - what - twice?) ... Exchange of the day goes to Jack and Emily (or, as I call em 'shrink and shrinkage') So - that's it. You're cutting me off (Jack whines like his wife's refusing to have sex with him). There's nothing to cut off, Emily replies (snicker. But she barely KNOWS Jack).
