Ashley leaves a message for Victor - she heard a rumour that he was leaving town. Concerned about Abby, she'd like a call. Enter Abby, with Nick and Noah (who's off to live with his Mom). Dad will be disappointed, Abby giggles - he loves having the whole family there. As Nick and Noah take boxes and leave, Ashley asks Abby to stick around. There won't be any 'welcome home' party for Victor - your Dad's not coming home. Huh?

Entering Victor's suite loaded down with gift bags full of candles and cashmere socks, Nikki babbles on about having also picked up his prescription. That's appreciated, but Victor won't be needed any of this crap - he's off to a rehab clinic - in Belgium. It'll speed up the healing process, he assures the slack jawed Nikki. No, no, she didn't chase him away - in fact, he wants her to tag along.

As the Fisher's lay out the hors d'oeuvres, the Baldwin's arrive - with a bottle of red and white, and assorted cheeses of course. Kevin's delighted that's everyone's welcoming Ryder into the family - you won't be sorry. As Kevin shows Mike his new stereo, Jana quietly hisses out her Ouija board/Ryder photo story. Oh how lucky - Amber bought a new Ouija board, Lauren sneers - but OK, what did it say? Not much - but Ryder's hiding something. Jana's plan? To casually bring up the subject of dead people - and see how Ryder reacts. Mike saunters over - whatever you're planning, don't do it.

At CL's, Gloria loads white boxes into a paper bag, explaining why they're going to this dinner (to make Ryder feel like part of a family). If it's a free meal, why are WE bringing dessert? Jeff grumbles - even though they aren't (and can't afford to) buy it. Thanks to Victor Newman. Looks like someone got him - here's an issue of RS conveniently laying around - with a cartoon caricature of the great man twirling his mustache on the cover.

Cut to the same image, enlarged on the wall of RS. Billy and Chloe admire it - agreeing it'll make a splash (and fly off the shelves). Mac marches in - what were you thinking!?

Victor sits Nikki down encourage Nikki to bring her beautiful face along to Belgium - to save him from going nuts. The kids? They're grown up. Nikki will come - just to see him through his recovery. That the only reason? Victor feels she's avoiding the subject of 'us'. What's the problem? Is she a fraidy cat?

Holding Abby's hand, Ashley announces that Victor's staying at the GCAC for a while. OMG! You guys are splitting up, Abby screeches - what happened? Grew apart? You just had a baby! Ashley's reasons are personal. It was YOUR idea? Didn't we move to GC to be a family? Abby doesn't get it - Victor's been totally awesome to them both. He got me a pony! Abby's off to see Dad - and doesn't want to 'be around' Ashley right now. 'Wait for me', Ash grabs her purse and follows.

Bringing a box of Noah's stuff into Sharon's, Nick explains that Noah went for gas - he'll be there soon. Yes, that's Noah's favourite chocolate chip cookies he smells. Sharon's so happy to be giving him a real home (and is doing well moving on from the grief of losing Faith). She may even have a job. I'm proud of you, Nick beams.

Jeff reads the article aloud, with Glo joining in with a Victor impression. Chiming in with a Victor impression, Glo denies she leaked the Cayman bank fiasco - if only. Jeff's hopeful that with the SEC involved, the poor souls who lost their money might be compensated - by suing the Grinch themselves.

Mike's having just as hard a time accepting Ryder as the tow ladies, but lets suspend suspicions for tonight - lest the get together turn into the usual free for all. Ryder appears to say this dinner means a lot to him - he hopes they'll realize he's not a bad guy. Everyone here wants to believe that, Kevin assures - right guys?

More of Nick and Sharon (who's just given a tour). Both looking at a photo of Cassie, they recall the Halloween Victor turned the private jet into a haunted house. Oh, what a great man Victor is. What will Summer be for Halloween - a princess. Noah arrives - with the latest issue of RS - and it's definitely not about Yorkies.

Mac scolds Billy (who claims every word is true - the family needs to take it up with 'the mustache'). If he's gonna prevent this from being another Billy Bumble, he must make a profit. Mac worries that Billy's started the feud (that Traci put an end to) all over again.

Victor wants an answer to his question - and hears that Nikki is afraid (of opening up her heart). A year ago he couldn't stand the sight of her. Yes, but Victor was angry then. She was right - he'll never love another woman like her - that's why they keep coming back to one another ~kiss~ On cue Abby walks in - SHE'S the reason you and my Mom are getting a divorce? Over her shoulder, Ashley arrives to stare.

The dinner awkward, the Baldwin's can't believe they're looking forward to Gloria's arrival. These little hot dog things are great, Ryder attempts conversation. Lauren wonders how he protected himself in prison. Laying low - just like Ryder did with Terrible Tom. How about a game? Mike suggest enthusiastically. At Lauren's suggestion, they play '20 questions'. Ryder goes first - is what he's thinking of bigger than a laptop? Is it dead? Jana blurts out. Lauren thinks it a good question - Ryder could be thinking of someone dead. She then wants to know more about Ryder's childhood. There's that park there - what is it called. Ryder passes her test with flying colours. Kevin scolds her - this isn't a game. It's an interrogation. The Bardwell's arrive (and immediately enlist Mike's help in making them very wealthy - again).

After Nikki scurries out, Ashley shuts the door - so Abby can grill Victor. It makes no sense. Victor has caused Ashley a lot of pain. Abby hears whispers at school - about how Victor stole Colleen's heart - but Dad had nothing to do with her death. It was Patty's fault. Ashley insists they both wanted it to walk out - but decided to end it before any more pain was caused.

Billy sure didn't expect his woman to 'dog' him - and knows she doesn't care about the numbers. No, Mac doesn't - this was cruel. Chloe chimes in her support of Billy's great idea - she's psyched about the article. Good, Mac snaps - cause when the Newman's see this, he'll need all the support he can get.

Nick grabs his jacket. If Billy thinks he can buy this magazine to attack my father he's got another thing comin' - and off he goes to see Victor. Sharon confides to Noah that she just took a job at RS. What will she do? The only thing she can - quit.

As Abby continues to whine, Ashley and Victor try to reassure her. But no - the one thing she can count on, her family, is falling apart. Leave me alone, she snarls as she slams out the door (leaving Ashley to ask about him leaving town). Though Victor's now reconsidering, Ashley thinks he SHOULD go - give Abby time to adjust. One more question - does his leaving have anything to do with her? Victor's caused her so much pain - he can't stand it anymore. But when he comes back, he'll take an active role in his children's life. He won't take his incredible gift for granted. Without comment, Ashley exits.

Jeff doesn't care about Victor's new lease on life - he's suing him (and wants Mike to represent them). RS in his hand, Mike points out that he works for Victor - it'd be a total conflict of interest. You'd choose Victor over the woman who gave you life? Glo pulls out the 'Mom' card (causing Mike to chuckle). Meanwhile, the game stalled, Ryder glumly shares what he's thinking - he's breaking up a family. If they have questions, don't hide behind a stupid game. OK, Lauren bites - tell us about your mother.

Back at RS, Billy fields calls from irate callers - then tries to mollify Mac. She's not mad - she's disappointed (and no, won't meet him at the trailer to talk about it). She'll come around, Billy assures Chloe. Enter his 'first official hire', Sharon. You hired HER?! Chloe scowls. And here's Ashley. Slamming the magazine into Billy's chest, she spitting mad about him using her money to attack her baby's father. Meanwhile, at Victor's suite, Nick hands over a copy of RS - you need to take a look at this.

Ryder didn't know his mother - she left him with Tom. Could she be dead? Jana wonders. He doesn't want anyone to go looking for her. Siblings? He thought he was an only child (until he found Kevin). Jana takes a call - then reports an employee called in sick and the espresso machine's broken. And despite the whole dinner party being about Ryder, he leaves for CL's. As the front door opens, Mike can be screaming at Gloria. Kevin heads back inside to lecture the ladies on his behavior tonight - the popping his head into the hallway, asks Mike if he needs any help. No! he and the Bardwell's answer in unison. And here's Mac - there to talk about Billy. Kevin loves her - but unless Mac's there to talk about what a screw up he is, she's come to the wrong friend. Actually, that IS why she's there.

Ashley blasts Billy on the article - it's beneath him - and what will Abby think? Billy knows it's harsh - but Victor's the reason Colleen's dead. Plus, he had to make a splash. This will hurt a lot of people - Ashley hopes his profit is worth what her ' little brother' will lose.

Nick wouldn't have let Phyllis sell to Billy if he knew THIS was gonna happen. Jack's likely involved. Nikki comes in with a copy - have you seen this?! How could Billy launch an attack like this?! When Nick informs that Billy's check came from Ashley's account, Victor doubts she knew about this. Being attacked by the Abbott's is nothing new to the Newman's. What does Victor plan to do? Nothing right now. Abby's just been told about the divorce - he can't have her dragged into a family feud. Fine - but no way in hell is Nick letting this go.

Giving Ryder her order, Abby explains she's watching her sugar intake - on account of being a model. Maybe he saw her on the RS cover? No? Well, here's the photo on her phone. I can send it to you, Abby eagerly volunteers - and that way he'll have her number. And how old is she? Ryder shows no interest. 18? Noah comes along - funny, cause last week you were 14. Thanks alot, Abby whines. Who cares if 'that guy' is in his 20's - no one else cares about consequences! A puzzled Noah's left to shake his head.

Tidying up, Lauren and Jana marvel at how quickly Ryder jumped to cover that shift. They must have been getting 'too close' for comfort. More digging is in order - find out what he's hiding. Where's the eats? Jeff comes in to boom. Growing boys need 2nd's and 3rd's (and 4th's if they can be fit into Gloria's purse). Lauren asks Mike what all the yelling was about. Mike was battling the devil for his soul - and lost. He's gonna help his mother sue his boss. No - he can't do it legally or ethically (and gulping down more wine, isn't sure why he agreed)

Kevin gives it to Mac 'straight' - the way she wants it. What Billy did is nothing - for Billy. Just one disappointment in a long line to come. He is who he is - nothing will change that. So, Mac should end things? He'll keep hurting you, Kevin's sure. Meanwhile, Ryder slips into CL's back room to make a call - yeah - it's me. It's all going as planned.

Magazine in hand, Nikki can't believe Billy would stoop so low. Enough about Billy, Victor wants to continue their discussion. Nikki sighs - she needs to think. Shhhh - Victor opens a tiny pink box - to reveal a sparkling ring.

Chloe wastes no time slammin' Sharon. You just can't get enough can you? Billy, Nick, Jack. Am I forgetting someone? Sharon's there to give her notice? Good, Chloe walks off. Nick arrives - pleased to assume Sharon's there to defend his father. No - she's here to work for me, Billy smugly corrects - and the sale's a done deal - Nick can't take it back. Yeah - Nick sold the magazine, but not the building (which Billy's got 15 minutes to vacate). Mess with my father, you mess with me - now get your stuff and get the hell out!

Next: Adam's sitting beside Vikki (at her desk). He understands why Billy lashed out. I bet you DO, Nick responds sarcastically .... Deacon and Billy are at Jimmy's. Yeah, I got nothing to say, Deacon snarls. That's OK, Billy scoops up a stack of photos - he's pretty sure these say it all ... Victor speaks into a camcorder on a tripod - 'and I've done things that I'm not proud of, but I have no regrets'.

My Thoughts - I won't be needing these 'where I'm going' Victor claims - not sure why he can't take the candles and cashmere socks to Belgium (where some extra socks might come in handy) .. And just how big are the candles? How many packages of socks did Nikki buy - to fill 3 huge gift bags? Nice that she wants to make Victor's suite 'smell like home' - but how long does she think he's gonna remain confined to a one room suite? ... And since Victor's already picked up his clothing from the ranch, why wouldn't be have brought his own socks? Cashmere socks? Not surprisingly really. Can't expect TGVN to buy his socks by the economy pack, like the rest of us. You know, the ones with the gray patch at the toe and heel to prolong the 'clean' look as long as possible. Victor Newman likely has his socks custom fit to his hoofs .... How did the poverty stricken Fisher's afford to buy a new stereo? Or is Kevin's Chipmunk enterprise finally bringing in some money? Instead of a new stereo, shouldn't the Fisher's be investing in a new espresso machine - one that doesn't break down every other week? ... Note how hard Mike slaps Lauren's butt - looks like he startled her. They're a great, and realistic couple ... How can Jeff possibly consider himself and Gloria 'poor manipulated souls'? ... Wonder what 'nasty things' Lauren's eluding to (that happen in jail) - having needles jabbed into one's eyes? ... But HOW and WHY will Mike represent the Bardwell's against Victor. Clearly it IS a conflict of interest (and surely there's something in Mike's contract to prevent him representing those suing his boss). Since vowing NOT to represent his family - for free - he's taken on Ryder's case - and now the Bardwell's. Way to stick to your word Mikey ... With Billy changing the article beyond the deadline (and the printer already waiting) how did he find time to get the cover picture done up? (and the other large cartoon inside) ... Nick may want to check the commercial version of the landlord/tenant act. I'm pretty sure it's illegal for him to evict Billy with only 15 minutes notice ... We loved having you here, Ashley says to Noah (like he was ever around the ranch - like he ever interacted with Ashley ) ... How can Ashley claim she and Victor 'grew apart' - they weren't even married for a year. And how can her divorcing the kid's father be for their 'sake'? ... Is that Noah's favourite 'chocolate chips' Nick smells? It IS - but favourite chocolate chip WHAT? Did Sharon just bake chocolate chips? .... Sharon has 'a few' exciting job prospects? Odd - she only approached Billy. And isn't it a bit late in the season for planting spring bulbs? Why didn't Sharon tell Nick that she was at RS to quit her job? (and won't that be a great loss to the magazine. How WILL Billy run the magazine without Sharon 'showing him the ropes'?) ... Surprising to hear that the local gas station carries an exclusive publication like RS magazine ... Nick 'never woulda left home' if he had a 'set up' like Noah has at Sharon's? Puh-lease. If Nick wasn't shipped off to boarding school, he'd still be about 17 - and hello Nick - you STILL haven't left home, you just moved out to your father's stables ... Odd that Nick mentions Sharon crying (in a childhood/Halloween photo) - are they going to delve into whatever happened in Sharon's past that caused her to 'lose time'? Weird timing - since her delivering a 'dead' baby seems to have completely cured her (just like Ashley getting the baby cured HER) ... Don't expect to see Doris visiting Sharon's new home (as it's not exactly wheelchair friendly) ... Note that when Nikki mentions how much Victor hated her (enough to want her dead) - he shrugs it off - he was angry then (yet still doesn't feel the need to apologize for his harsh words that Nikki clearly hasn't forgotten) ... Of course Abby loves her Daddy - he bought her a horse and riding lessons - along with anything and everything else she ever wanted. Plus, she's welcome to barge into his suite without even knocking. You'd think a billionaire staying at an athletic club would have the door locked. back to Abby - isn't it a bit out of character for her to be hitting on a lowly coffee server? The way she approached it was in character though, and comical (she actually seems like a good actress in these type of scenes) ... How rude of Ashley - cant' she see that Sharon was first in line to blast Billy? And when Ashley dashes out after Abby, why didn't she think to notify the staff? Who's taking care of Faith?
