In full 'snark' mode, Billy tosses papers about - No, No, No! Can't anyone write something readable?! Chloe arrives - refusing to change the cover story. 'Mary Sunshine (aka Rory Gleason) is on her way over for a photo shoot. What Billy really wants is Mac back (sans the Ashby baby) - and that ain't gonna happen. It's MY magazine, Billy stomps his little feet - change it!

At the mausoleum, Kay reports that JT just left - and is Mac still going through with this 'routine procedure' that will change her life (hasn't it already)? Mac doesn't need Kay to drive her - the Ashby's are there to pick her up (as they're all 'in this together').

Clad in his orange jumpsuit, Daniel whines to Amber about having to remove his wedding ring. Phyllis arrives - we're getting you out, she announces with conviction.

Jack joins Ashley - she's still got that new mother glow - and the reason for his 'King of the world' glow has nothing to do with Sharon and Adam (though if she dumps him, Jack'll be cheering the loudest).

Nick!? Sharon hops out of bed. What the hell? Adam murmurs - just let him go, he suggests (as Sharon throws on a robe to chase after him). At the front door, Sharon demands to know why he walked into her house. The email? She never sent it. The door was open - music on - did Sharon plan this? To let him know she's moved on? Are you insane? (Nick then apologizes for his poor choice of words). He's using you - like he did Rafe, Heather and Ashley. This punk's using you to stick it to me. Adam balks - who wouldn't want Sharon?! Is HE blind? Or just an idiot? This woman's NOT your wife - Phyllis is. This is what you want now? Nick turns and slams out.

Back at the club, Jack will never agree on Adam - but on to better news - Kay's letting him in on the IPO. Let's both buy in - then consolidate our shares to regain control of Jabot. Billy? That back stabber's no longer Jack's concern. Oh look - there's the woman who's about to change my life, he raises his glass to Kay (who arrives on Neil's arm).

Taking a table, Neil's floored to hear that Tucker McCall wants in. Kay has reservations. Almost as rich as Bill Gates, why would Tucker want PART of CI? Neil thinks it flattering - he'd pay top dollar (driving the price up and giving them international 'cache'). Kay's not convinced - do they really need more global attention? This was supposed to be about family and friends - Tucker's a stranger (but yes, rich and powerful). Bottom line - Kay's not sure she's willing to go back and tell Nick, Jack etc. to make room for the new mogul.

At CL's, Nick relives the image of Adam and Sharon in bed. Noah arrives as summoned. No, this isn't about the money he borrowed - or the plaque. Nick wonders if Noah had specific reason for being worried about Sharon - but didn't want to break her confidence? Is there anything he'd like to share? Noah's OK with his Mom and Adam being 'buds' (he got used to him at the ranch after all). Nick suddenly decides they don't see one another enough - move back in with me, he suggests.

Sharon rants to Adam (who stammers that maybe 'you and me' is a mistake). Sharon balks - he's gonna walk away because of Nick? Adam just wants her to be happy. 'Just stop', Sharon hugs him tightly.

Phyllis blabs to Daniel that Deacon and Ryder plead the 5th. Guess Ryder didn't want to incriminate himself. But No - they won't get away with it - they'll get theirs. But right now, her focus is Daniel - what does he need? After the weepy Amber leaves them for some alone time, Daniel asks his Mom to take care of her (sure he's gonna be behind bars a long time).

Determined to change the cover story, Billy decides to repackage the alley shooting. Chloe has a great idea - the issue stays as is (while the 'boozer' goes to take a shower). Yes - Billy tied one on last night - without her (don't be jealous). No longer in love with Billy, Chloe claims to feel bad for him (as a friend). When Rory Gleason arrives, Chloe gushes about her boots. Making a quick exit, Billy's quietly told again to take a shower - no more booze.

At the hospital, Lily and Mac think it cute that Cane's so jittery - could it be the stirrups? Mac in a hospital gown? The doctor arrives to announce that the embryos are ready for transplant. After a relieved Cane makes his escape, Lily agrees to stay (I'm there for you, she smiles at Mac).

Still in her robe, Sharon knows (and hates) how this looks - that she's falling apart because of Nick. Adam says all the right things - whatever happens next is HER call. Sharon's impressed - finally a man who's not telling her what to do - how to feel (or trying to rescue her). Adam's on a roll - 'eyesight be damned' - he sees the incredible her; a strong, smart woman.

Back at CL's, Noah wonders what happened to 'look after Mom' - wasn't that just yesterday? How can he possible move out - after everything Mom's been through? No - he won't move. Noah can't do it. OK - but if anything 'ticks him off' - or if Noah needs anything, just call - Nick will be right there.

Photo shoot done, Chloe gushes some more over Rory - the donations will roll in once the issue's out. Rory had some concerns (after the Victor article) - but RS is still classy. Yes - classy up the wazoo, Chloe agrees. And as Rory leaves, a glum Amber updates Chloe - what WILL she do without Daniel? ~hug~

Daniel whines to Phyllis - this is my life - behind bars in a jumpsuit (while Deacon and Ryder get to walk around free - because they plead the 5th). Oh, and he hates Amber and Phyllis seeing him like this. Phyllis won't be going anywhere - whether he cries - or just sits there. She knows he's tired. It'll be hard to sleep - but he must (as he needs his strength). But when Daniel's up thinking all night, he's to think 'I won't be here for long' - hold onto that. Cause, no way in hell, Phyllis will let this be his life.

At CL's, Cane gets a box of eclairs - then plenty of attitude from Billy. Cane talks of how much Mac loves Billy (who should be the one taking her eclairs - but instead, he's feeling sorry for himself) - and he smells like beer. As Billy's about to pummel the 'sanctimonious jerk', Jack comes along to restrain - then lecture him. Billy updates that Mac's having a baby for that 'Aussie chump' - it's done. Forget the pity - just give me the lecture. Jack delivers a pep talk - the world is a wonderful place. Billy sees the future as a big ball of 'probably not' - the here and now 'sucks'.

It's time, isn't it? Mac turns nervously. Meanwhile, in the hallway, Lily's on the phone getting encouragement from Neil (whom she'll keep posted). Relieved to see Cane (and his box of eclairs), Lily gives him a wordless hug.

Phyllis is granted a bit more time - then tells Daniel she'll move into the cell next door. Who's the biggest bitch he knows? This is what she does - she's not sure how she'll get him out - but she WILL. Yes, she CAN fix this. Some Mom's fix a great Thanksgiving dinner - but Phyllis fixes 'things'. She won't stop until that happens.

Chloe gives Amber a pep talk - even though her husband was a jerk - not a good guy. She no longer needs to diss Billy - she has Chance. You LIKE him, Amber notes the look on Chloe's face. But does anyone really get over Billy? Chloe has to wonder (her eyes glazing over as he walks in).

Ashley approaches Neil at the club's bar - um - she's no stalker, but his call looked intense. She thinks the surrogacy thing is exciting. Neil's worried about Lily being disappointed. Ashley had cancer - and her own miracle baby (which will make Lily fight harder). If he ever needs to talk, Ashley would be more than happy to listen. With the stress of Lily and the IPO, she declares Neil the epitome of 'cool'.

Jack goes over to Kay's table to mention the IPO. Yeah, he's not the only investor, but he's the most motivated. John would have wanted him to play the 'John card'. Has something changed? he has to wonder - then looks puzzled as Kay taps her watch and gestures to Neil.

Now seated with Ashley, Jack insists he'd tell her if he knew anything - but something's going on (something he may not like). Meanwhile, a few tables away (with Neil), Kay's decided 'no deal' with Tucker McCall - until she meets him (on HER turf). Let's see if he qualifies as 'friend or family'.

On the patio, Phyllis can't talk about Daniel without crying - so let's talk about Nick (who's had an interesting day). Phyllis prods - business? Nick claims it's garbage neither of them needs to deal with. If it happens, it happens.

Adam strokes Sharon's hair as they chat. Nick walking in wasn't the highlight of her day, but she's fine now. Adam doesn't care what anyone thinks - and isn't going anywhere unless Sharon tells him to.

When Amber revisits Daniel - both admit they're scared.

Back at the mausoleum, Lily tucks a blanket around Mac (who's NOT an invalid - but WOULD like an eclair). Wow - we're gonna have a baby, Cane beams. Now, which eclair's the biggest?

At RS, a woman comes in - with info on Victor Newman's daughter - specifically her testimony before the grand jury (which she'd like compensation for). Let's talk, Billy's interested (and so's Chloe).

Next: There's something I need to tell you, Vikki admits to JT. Same here, he replies ... Kevin confronts Ryder - do you have anything to say for yourself before I kick your ass outta here? ... At the office, Adam snarls at Nick - I can make her as happy as she wants - whenever she wants it. Nick's reply is a right hook that sends Adam to the ground.

My Thoughts: Who the hell is this woman so willing to provide Billy with confidential grand jury testimony? A court employee? At least we know what story Billy will be going with for RS's next issue. Out with the do-gooder, in with the wealthy cheating wife. That oughtta give JT something else to sigh and scowl about .... If the deadline's so near, why would Billy even consider pulling yet another last minute change? And why is he depending on his staff to come up with a creative idea? Isn't that HIS department? ... Nice that Rory still considers RS a 'classy; publication - never mind that every issue has been used as a vehicle to publicly insult either it's co-founders or Victor Newman. Now THAT'S classy ... Odd that Jack sees that new mother 'glow' emanating from Ashley - but not from Sharon. Odder still that Ashley, who's actually HAD a baby, isn't concerned that she didn't bleed for weeks after 'giving birth'. Well - it WAS 16 years ago - maybe she forgot .... Weird that Mac's having the embryo 'transplanted' at GCM - instead of some sort of private fertility clinic .. If Nick's so concerned about Adam, why would he encourage Noah to move out - thereby leaving 'poor' Sharon alone with his devious and depraved half brother? And Jack wouldn't be the one cheering the loudest - that'd be Nick ... Who can blame Mac for declining a drive to GCM by Grandma Kay? Thanks but no thanks Granny. Never mind that Kay drove Philip over a cliff to his death - look what happened when Kay drove Marge to rehab - she ended up in a pine box instead of a cushy facility. Kay may be many things, but a good driver ain't one of em ... If Kay's only offering stock options to 'friends and family' WHY is CI getting 'global attention'? ... How come Noah's available to meet Nick at CL's at the drop of a hat? Didn't he only have first period free? Or have Sharon and Adam been in bed ALL day? ... Does Billy really smell that bad? Both Chloe and Jack can smell the alcohol he consumed the night before? Did he take a beer breath? And how does Jack know it's not the booze HE just drank? ... Yeah Daniel - you better get some sleep. You'll have quite an active social life if you're ever exposed (so to speak) to any other inmates - just watch for the ones brandishing hypodermic needles with cleaning fluids. I hear it can really hinder your eyesight ... Great idea Phyllis - I'm sure the warden won't mind you moving into the cell next to Daniel's - and her plan to install some nice curtains will give it a homey feel. But I guess by Phyllis saying she'll stay right by Daniel's side, she really meant she'll hang around only until it's time to meet Nick at the coffee shop ... Have a great weekend. Thanks for the continued support that enables me to keep the site going.
